And maybe when you finally work here and have any authority at all, it will be up to you what people do where and when. Most posters here (myself included) have offered their happiness for the show while critiquing its quality. You can leave it at that.

Very happy for them. It sounds like that reunion with Guy Pearce won't take for Jane unless she's only a guest.

@DRW50 Grain of salt, but there have been rumors of a new UNIT spinoff for awhile featuring Ruth Madeley's upcoming character. Now this too: The Mirror has picked this up and alleged it will star Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart. Moffat, Gaiman and Gatiss are all rumored to be writing for the next series but there's nothing certain. And of course there is more talk alleging Carole Ann Ford is def in the third and final anniversary special.

It's quite a brazen showing. If he was not one of the top and most powerful creatives in the country I wonder if he'd dare.

It says a lot about my memories of Forbes March's extremely extra behavior on and offscreen that I took one look at that headline and was like 'yeah, checks out.'

So proud of Michelle Yeoh, a towering legend of Hong Kong cinema. And very happy for EEAAO. Andrea Riseborough being gleeful for her win was great.

Very happy for Sarah Polley, who I've adored since we were both little in her days of Terry Gilliam's Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Ramona on PBS, all the way through Go, Splice and now her directorial career.

I love Jamie Lee and I'm happy for her, but Angela was robbed. That Diane Warren song with the spoken word interludes was... unique. Yay Ke!

Ready for Yeoh and Ke to take it, followed by hopefully Angela (but Stephanie Hsu would be great too). My favorite film of the year is still TÁR - endlessly fascinating - but EEAAO deserves plenty and Michelle Yeoh being fully realized as a serious leading actor in the West in addition to being HK royalty is overdue.

I love Jamie and I think her performance in the controversial (but IMO very good) recent Halloween trilogy is award-worthy. I'm glad she's nominated finally, but she shouldn't win for this - it should go to Angela Bassett. Everything else, I am fine with EEAAO sweeping it. Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan richly deserve it. That being said I think TÁR is the best of the year.

@AdelaideCate007 I wasn't sure if Vadic was a changeling or if she had some sort of symbiotic communication device with the Founders. That answers that. The question is, is she answering to more Founders or to someone else? Who could co-opt the changelings?

I haven't seen all of that scene but I think that was a good set of performances from both, actually, and some decent dialogue. And I very rarely hand out praise to Y&R or its performers these days, both of those two can ham it up like nobody's business.
