  1. More in the thread above.
  2. I believe the implication in this polling is that they are and will.
  3. I had a feeling I was right about this (which I already posted above). It's mask off time for Harris' team. They've seen the same numbers and shifts I have and have ceased playing underdog (which they were deliberately doing to keep donors/voters engaged even when polling was romping in August-September):
  4. Apologies if this was posted: The WP Writers' Guild urges angry readers to send feedback to the CEO here.
  5. Progress:
  6. Valentin is a creepy wuss Anna should never have gone near.
  7. Ahem. The Nevada EV looks like it may be leveling off for Republicans and gaining for the Dems, which was expected and may relieve us all.
  8. The idiocy of Zaid Jilani persists:
  9. For those who don't want to watch the whole thing (though you should!), here's a bit more:
  10. Alexandra Petri seizes the day:
  11. I don't buy it at all. I just don't adopt these contrarian takes as gospel; I think most of them are bullshit from dirtbag dead-enders or libertarians with agendas, and I think they prey on the anxious. I also fundamentally disagree with their takes on the campaign and the race. This race was always going to tighten. But because these Twitter randos with their own political air want to skew that around their agenda, they claim it's because Harris did X or Y. That's silliness.
  12. This is ludicrous (and her father came out directly denying this and saying she had no role, which makes it even more of a shitshow). But the NYT piece here is a good background on the Soon-Shiongs' meddling at the LA Times. As always, run it through archive.org. I hate linking to Yashar. Meanwhile:
  13. The Post staff seems to be in open rebellion.
  14. Or he's just senile.
  15. Meanwhile:
  16. That Nation bit is hysterical. I had no idea.
  17. I think it may be more than that at this point, given his many, many press cancellations recently and some of the rally issues that have finally drawn press attention to his mental state. I once again flash the @marceline signal.
