Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread
Joy Reid and I think The View called her out. Good.

The Doctors Discussion Thread
Yeah, that was supposed to be a sad/serious moment that became unintentionally hilarious!! 😝

I don't think you ever disliked her more when she recorded that stupid tape message to Colin!! Alas, after all that trouble, he never heard the tape or even knew it existed. 😂

The Media/Journalism Thread
It's weird, because some people find the show too liberal and others see it as too right-wing. They did themselves a HUGE favor by not inviting Meghan McCain back (no one will ever convince me that she wasn't fired). She was a living, breathing caricature of a conservative Republican - and there are tons of people (including me) that are thrilled that she's no longer there.

The Politics Thread
Personally, I think I feel more sad for her than anything. Having said that, I liked her better when she was talking about her cats and fostering pets.

The Doctors Discussion Thread
I think it helped that her characterization was fairly steady. Sara was all over the map, which is why I think they cut their losses after Dorothy Fielding chose to leave rather than try for Sara #3.

WOW. 😳😔

She did. It's pretty remarkable that not only was the role of Nola successfully cast three times, but all three actresses went on to show biz success after TD.

Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread
Rachel Maddow discussed this man's story on her show tonight. I am saddened and angry that this pandemic of selfishness cost him.

The Media/Journalism Thread
I'm sickened that The View is actually going to let her co-host. I hope she doesn't get the gig permanently.

The Doctors Discussion Thread
Yeah, a lot of her performances on the show were. She wasn't a "great" actress then, but she definitely had the "it" thing.
-
The Politics Thread
I think she's been seriously unwell for years and needs help - and to be out of the public eye. It's really sad.

That man just disgusts me. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Wow, I hadn't heard that Jeff Bridges had it. I hope he is OK now. 🙏

That makes sense. I checked my guide for next week, and Mayim Bialik is listed as host. I guess I thought they were going to retape the episodes with Richards as host. They'll probably air disclaimers throughout the week.

Yes, he did - though it's a shame that Lydia Bruce was never even nominated. Her work was just as good!! 😊

Recasts on shows: good, bad, in between
I always thought Christine Tucci and Alicia Coppola could pass for sisters...so much so that I got them confused at first.

The Doctors Discussion Thread
I think the show really dropped the ball not putting those two together. By far, the best chemistry either Kathleen Turner or Philip English had on TD was with each other. Plus, it would have been a lot of fun to see Sara seethe every time she saw the two of them together. 😂😂😂😂😂
