  1. AMC had a lot of guts to do it that way - and in a lot less time to put together a finale than ATWT.
  2. Well, she was one of the youngest in the original cast - if not the youngest. Maybe she just didn't gel. I don't know.
  3. Those scenes were so intricate and well-written, not only for Delia but Bob. Two members of the same family, raised in the same environment, who remember what happened totally different. It was great.
  4. I agree - it would have been fun.
  5. I was waiting for Sally Sussman to address if they had any plans for interracial romance if the show had not been canceled. They did heavily tease Adam/Sam in at least one promo:
  6. I didn't know that she broke her contract to get out of the show. It seems like most of the Passions cast became close and still are to this day (and always had a relatively small cast for an hour-long show). Maybe it was the youngest cast members, the ones who still needed guardians with them, that had it really bad. MEW, Taylor Anne Mountz and Lena Cardwell were all off the show after a year. Have any of them ever really elaborated on their experiences?
  7. Thanks. She looked much better when she wasn't being made over to be a Meg clone.
  8. Today, there would be backlash before the scene even aired. Times have changed!
  9. How long did the show keep that up before Frost could look like herself?
  10. Yes, Delia wanted to be (and stay) a Ryan at all costs. I think Ilene Kristen was more convincing in that desperation than Randall Edwards, probably because she played it originally.
  11. According to AWHP, Iris and Russ were engaged in 1975.
  12. Chris Marcantel joked last year that he should put together an all-Curtis Zoom chat during "The Men of Loving" chat. I hope it can happen!!
  13. I sure hope so!!
  14. We'll see. You're a lot more optimistic than I am!
  15. It seems that Curtis Alden was to LOVING what Mike Powers, Tom Hughes, Patti Tate and Mike Horton were to their respective soaps in terms of recasts. I only saw two: Chris Marcantel and Chip Albers. The former had a poor little rich boy vibe mixed with an unconventional look while the latter just seemed too young - more like the fun-loving kid brother (and wasn't Curtis supposed to be older than Trisha?). The casting just seemed so wildly uneven, so I guess it's no surprise what ultimately happened to Curtis and why he never made it to THE CITY!!
  16. If that's not a 1980s cover, I don't know what is!! 😳
  17. I'm honestly surprised that they never went there with Stefan and Alexis, at least early on. They really did have chemistry!!
  18. Sadly, yes. I'm with you.
  19. That was a great post - thanks!!
