  1. Just when you think nothing can surprise you anymore...
  2. Not to mention the Penn State scandal. All the stories that have come out have made me cry. All the self-loathing, shame and recrimination...😢 Does anyone think that a sex abuser can honestly be rehabilitated? I'm not being facetious, just curious as to what others think. I don't think it can be done. The scariest thing is that so many predators are hiding in plain sight and look so "normal".
  3. Who knows, maybe DAYS didn’t want to deal with his estate.
  4. Who else misses Susan Lucci's Progressive commercials? They haven't aired in some time. "Come ON, Susan Lucci!!!" 😂
  5. I'm actually surprised that JER didn't think of that himself. Remember Susan Banks' Elvis fixation?
  6. Carl, would you please repost this article? It was about Maggie. Thanks!
  7. Wow, I missed that one. Thanks!
  8. I love how thoroughly he trashed the reboot and rightfully so. It's one thing when Dallas had a reboot, but it featured several core actors from the original show and was really more of a continuation. This has next to no ties to the original show. Plus, Dynasty was a byproduct of the 1980s...the glamour, the excess...it could never exist in another era. Finally, what kind of an insult is it that the show will air on the CW? Ouch.
  9. The good old days, right? 😉
  10. 😨😨😨😨😨😨
  11. Were DAYS and OLTL the only soaps she did?
  12. May Elizabeth Kemp RIP. She was a very pretty lady, and it seems like she was just as kind. I loved hearing about her as an acting coach!!
  13. David Pendleton also filled in for Palmer Deane as Dr. Hank Iverson on The Doctors for two episodes in 1972. The voiceover gave the reason for the temporary replacement as illness.
  14. Eddie, I have always loved your site. AWHP is one of the best, most informative soap opera sites out there. Have you ever thought of adding a section for autographs from the cast? I have several that I could share.
  15. Thank you, Carl. I'd love to see them. I'm glad to be posting here again; things have been hectic. Keep me posted on the new uploads. Thanks again!!
  16. We're rapidly approaching the end of Gerald Gordon's 8+ year run as Dr. Nick Bellini, as he left in December 1974. He returned briefly in 1976 before leaving TD for good.
  17. On The Doctors in fall 1974, Darlene Parks filled in as Margo Stewart when Mary Denham went on maternity leave.
  18. I found several write-ups about him that mentioned OLTL in his filmography, but imdb lists it as "Role Unknown".
  19. Oh yes!! Carrie and Austin's song (played ad nauseum) was the Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes For You", and the then-Top 10 hit by Donna Lewis, "I Love You Always Forever" was used as a more current love theme for them (and was played at their 1997 wedding reception). Carrie and Mike's love song was one of the biggest hits of 1997-98, LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live". They also went to some party where Craig Wesley was and the Spice Girls were blaring. I also remember a big montage scene where Marlena was reflecting about John, flashbacks back to the 80s and all. Then the scene jumped to Hope, who was thinking about the good times with Bo. The song used was Whitney Houston's hit from The Bodyguard - "I Have Nothing". Mark Valley and Stephanie Cameron had an elaborate dream sequence as Jack and Jennifer dancing to Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart". Those were indeed the DAYS, my friends!!
  20. I don't know, but it sure is much more entertaining than just about anything the Final Four have offered in the past few years!!
  21. Didn't Bob continue that tradition once their father passed on?
  22. Agreed!! TIIC don't even try anymore, and that's a shame.
