  1. Rita McLaughlin Walter, who played Carol on ATWT for most of the 1970s and into the early 1980s, was up for the role of Tara Martin when AMC was first being cast. I read this in the book Rita co-wrote with her husband, Rev. Norman Walter (No Shadow of Turning).
  2. I know this is a story from the Fox News website, but this article does bring up some good points about the questionable practice of NBC having an internal investigation rather than bringing in someone from the outside. https://www.google.com/amp/www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/12/04/nbc-news-raises-eyebrows-for-keeping-lauer-investigation-in-house.amp.html By giving Matt Lauer too much power, NBC really has no one to blame but themselves for this situation (aside from the sexual harassment/assaults): https://www.google.com/amp/s/pagesix.com/2017/12/04/matt-lauers-intense-jealously-left-nbc-without-a-plan-b/amp/
  3. Alexander Polinsky of Charles in Charge has gotten the attention of the National Inquirer: https://www.nationalenquirer.com/photos/scott-baio-sex-scandal-claims/
  4. I wonder if Alexander Polinsky will go to the press, as he had threatened to do earlier. Here's his latest tweet: https://mobile.twitter.com/Alex_Polinsky/status/937701663791443968?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet In other news, good news for the cast and crew of a certain show who won't be losing their jobs, save one: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2017/12/04/entertainment/house-of-cards-production/index.html
  5. Was a spinoff/sequel series to TC really even necessary?
  6. I wonder if they will ever show Three's a Crowd.
  7. That's definitely Charles Frank. He had either left or was getting ready to leave AMC at that point.
  8. In honor of Jeff Bridges' 68th birthday today:
  9. I LOVE FETV. I'm glad that DirecTV has it, since we switched cable providers from Uverse. Sadly, DirecTV doesn't have FamilyNet...for now, anyway.
  10. He's tweeted multiple times over the last couple of hours. 😨😢
  11. The writer of this essay hit the nail on the head. Matt Lauer really is the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. https://www.thedailybeast.com/now-we-can-see-the-real-matt-lauer
  12. I'm enjoying the One Day at a Time reruns on FETV. That was a show I had never seen much of before. It's a joy to watch the dynamic the three females had, but also sad to watch the downfall of Mackenzie Phillips.
  13. Plus, there's the fact that NBC sat on that infamous tape with Trump and Billy Bush. The network is supposedly doing an inside investigation into the whole Lauer mess, but shouldn't Comcast hire an outside party to investigate? There's no way that the higher-ups at NBC didn't know what was going on with Lauer. It wasn't until Variety and The New York Times began sniffing around that NBC began their damage control.
  14. Of Robin Mattson's many soap roles, Gina is my favorite.
  15. I knew it would be a matter of when and not if: https://www.google.com/amp/s/pagesix.com/2017/12/01/matt-lauers-wife-leaves-their-home-amid-sex-harassment-scandal/amp/
  16. Freddie is no doubt turning in his grave...
  17. @Khan, you bring up a good point about the hierarchy at NBC: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/906906001 Sickeningly, Lauer's first wife is supporting him. I suspect his current wife is looking for a good divorce lawyer. https://www.google.com/amp/s/pagesix.com/2017/12/01/matt-lauers-ex-wife-comes-to-his-defense/amp/
  18. Here's a little bit of good news: http://money.cnn.com/2017/12/01/media/matt-lauer-payout-nbc/index.html
  19. I didn't know where else to put this: https://soaphub.com/general-hospital/hope-home-for-the-holidays-denise-alexander-returns-to-general-hospital-gh/
