  1. No problem. Lydia and Leon Sr. owned a country home in NH for many years (per many of the articles of the day), thus I guess why they were laid to rest there.
  2. Thanks! I also just found out that he did in arc in late 2008/early 2009 on GL.
  3. The song is as cheesy as the outdated graphics, but it sure is catchy!!
  4. Thanks. That explains a lot!!
  5. If the reboot takes off, who knows? I don't see BBT lasting that much longer (it's in its 11th season). Then again, how long did Chuck Lorre's other hit sitcom (Two and a Half Men) stay on the air loooooong after it had been played out?
  6. Who was writing SB at that time?
  7. I know Erik was on B&B for a short arc about 15 years ago, but which soap was Montel on?
  8. To me, the Maggie recast was so seamless and Lydia Bruce fit in so well with the show's dynamic, it felt like she had always been there. TD struck gold when they found her.
  9. GAG. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2017/12/16/entertainment/mario-batali-apology-recipe/index.html
  10. Yes. Actually, technically Leon Jr. was her stepson. He was Leon Stevens' son from his first marriage. Here's the story, in a lawsuit filed by Leon Jr.'s ex-wife against Cessna: https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/FSupp/634/137/1885566/ The next year, David O'Brien's nephew (his sister's son) died in an accident. I read that in one of the soap magazines of the day. If I can find the article, I'll try to get it up here. Here's Lydia's obit: http://m.legacy.com/obituaries/tucson/obituary.aspx?n=lydia-bruce-stevens&pid=113609822&referrer=0&preview=false Here's the final resting place for the Stevens family, in New Hampshire: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/150731096 Lydia's husband Leon Sr. was also an actor, and played the recurring role of Judge Clark Bowman. He was the chairman of the hospital board.
  11. Me too!! May God grant you a full recovery.
  12. That’s definitely her.
  13. Here's an article about how the sex abuse scandals have affected the Golden Globe nominations: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/939854001
  14. Sadly, I feel SB may have been ahead of its time with the rapist's identity in light of the #MeToo movement. But I digress.
  15. She last aired in May 1968. Her absence was originally 8 weeks so she could play Sean Connery's wife in the film The Molly Maguires. Lydia Bruce was hired to temp until Bethel returned. She decided to stay in Hollywood, and Lydia became the permanent Maggie. What started as 8 weeks as a fill-in became a 14 1/2 year run, as Lydia would stay until the series finale in December 1982.
  16. I guess watch the regular Hallmark movies? If it has Kellie Martin, Danica McKellar, Candace Cameron Bure or anyone else I grew up watching/around my age, I'm there. Remember growing up when all the networks had those "moment of truth" movies with people like Elizabeth Montgomery, Patty Duke, Meredith Baxter, Lindsay Wagner, Melissa Gilbert, etc.? Here are a couple of articles that get right to the point of what you're talking about: http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/tv/ct-hallmark-channel-christmas-movies-20171207-story.html https://www.google.com/amp/www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/television/hallmark-channel-ratings-harvey-weinstein-matt-lauer-20171212.html%3famphtml=y P.S. Even though it's a "crime" show, I still love to binge watch on Monk. No matter what, Tony Shaloub always makes me laugh.
  17. Here's the latest. It just never ends. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hollywoodreporter.com/amp/news/florida-project-producer-accused-sexual-harassment-by-a-dozen-insiders-1068287
  18. Thanks for clarifying that. I stand corrected.
  19. I don't remember that. All this time, Kim Zimmer was getting credit as daytime's first clone. It was Dee Hall all along!! 😂
  20. Have we heard anything about Fred Willard?

  24. Ohio, get on board! There's no love lost between Gov. Kasich and Trump, so he could end his gubernatorial career in Ohio by making a stand: http://www.starbeacon.com/opinion/editorials/saving-net-neutrality-in-ohio/article_34a62104-ca28-5bc6-9275-378a838bd422.html
