I didn't care for either Boaz or Gatson, neither were strong actors IMO. I'd love to see John Driscoll back. I know it was said that he couldn't come back at the time Boaz was hired because of real life military service, but then he was doing that audio web soap Forever and a Day, so I'm not sure why he can't come back now. He had good chemistry with Nina and Chloe, who had a similar temperament to Abby. The writing is so puzzling. So they wanted to start this infertility story right when they fired Boaz. That's pretty dumb, but OK. They wrote him off by saying he'd be on a secret mission and couldn't be contacted. Fair enough. Then why did they start writing the character back in again by having Abby talk to him on the phone if they didn't have an actor to play him?! Then they bring back a different character with a very similar profile because they don't have Chance on canvas? Each decision makes less and less sense... what is the big deal, either recast or drop the character...

If there are any unlisted videos you watch you should be sure to download them and share them to the vault before July 23rd. Once they are made private, only the owner can view the videos. I'm a little confused myself because I have a lot of unlisted videos on my channel. It sounds like if I opt out everything will remain as it was? Hey guys, when you're talking about space in the Vault and stuff like that, it's a good idea to ping @ChickenNuggetz92so he sees the conversation.

I'm debating with myself whether this is before or after NYE 1981, when Nikki says "you can kiss like that, you've been holding out on me." Since this kiss is so quick, I think this scene must have been November or December 1981. I guess I always thought this scene would be from some kind of masquerade ball and I was always curious the context of it. There's nothing like that in the recaps from that time. I vaguely remember reading something about Victor getting Nikki French lessons, but I can't find that reference now, so I'm thinking he got her to dress as Marie Antoinette to study French? LOL. Another scene from 1981 I had always been curious about that pops up in a lot of montages was the one where Nikki finds a ring in an oyster. Always thought it made no sense for it to be an engagement ring since it was clearly too early. Randomly popped across it when going through my 1998 DVDs as Victor remember a long piece of that scene, and it turns out he was just teaching her how oysters are made ("diamond in the rough" analogy?). I uploaded it to 1981 clips and I'll upload these ones once I figure out all the dates.

I was pleasantly surprised they showed some brief old clips on Friday's show. What month/year is this from? I've seen this scene come up in a number of montages over the years. It can't be Halloween 1981 because Nikki doesn't find out Victor's identity until early November.

It's frustrating when that happens but we all just have to continue to share in good faith, since so many wonderful people do contribute. Many more people upload to the B&B vault than Y&R or GL. It is pretty funny that the person stealing is named "Sally" - seems familiar.

Thank so you much! I was waiting so long to finally get those! I only noted those two. Maybe @charholden5 knows of some. I wish I had taken notes because now I already watched all of Amy's episodes. I believe on the German DVD, there was music, but they must have dubbed it in, so you still can't hear the dialogue.

Hey guys, just to catch you up, I recently added the full episode March 4, 1997, a bunch of clips from 1997, and some full episodes from March (including the primetime ep), April, June, August, October, and December of 1998. Some are totally new, some we had partials before and I was able to add in the missing parts. It's nice to see that year filling up. A couple of requests: The week of March 1998 when Nikki got shot: I went through my old DVDs, and I have one that is erroring out halfway through. It has March 19 and 20th 1998 (I uploaded them but the quality is really bad)) and then it glitches out halfway through March 23, 1998. There's another 2 hours that won't play which I assume is March 24 and 25. Then March 26 was on the vault already, and I added March 27 and 30th from another DVD, so it would be awesome if one of you happen to have any of the ones I'm missing/or in better quality to fill out that week. Also, I'm wondering if anyone here is the person that uploaded "1991-03-12 Nina gets arrested" a couple of months ago. I meant to ask about it. It never uploaded correctly and I always hoped the person would come back and redo it. I hope the original uploader is on this forum! I'm not on the Facebook group but if any of you are, feel free to post the request there too!

I know. Not going to spoil anything and I'm not even up to date on either show but I don't understand how GH has so much better production values and writing now. You never feel like "oh, this character should be in this scene but I guess they can't afford it today" or "oh, this scene should really be taking place in this location but I guess they couldn't put up that set today." Y&R at this point is just all exposition of things that happened offscreen (that make no sense). It would be nice if something came of it but I'm not getting my hopes up.
