B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
I do mean those two, but when I download them, the Chris from Greece version is from RTL with subtitles and starts with a doctor greeting Stephanie and the rsclassicfanfanforever version is from Videoland, no subtitles and starts with Tawny and Becky? Sorry if this was already discussed. Is the Chris version merged with another episode? That one is longer.

LATEST RATINGS: April 28 - May 2, 2025
That's so unfortunate. Maybe they need to package a week or two of the Leslie/Ted fallout episodes and re-air them on BET or Pluto like they did the premiere week. It could be a packaged deal that requires CBS to air those daytime games in order to get more lucrative weekend games. That's interesting. One would think the CBS soaps could at least crack the top 15 during summer when primetime shows are in reruns. CBS is weird though.

They might surprise us and book a suite at the GCAC 😄

Y&R: May 2025 Discussion Thread
Pretty accurate but I feel like most fans complain about the opposite of #2: they want more fresh blood. I myself do prefer the vets, but they're not sidelined... they don't have story but that's because no one has story. They get plenty of airtime though. That one feels more like a generic soap viewer complaint. The rest of this is very on point.

So is it just me or did Leslie create her own "gates" and Eva was outside of them?! BRUTAL.

Absolutely agree. Nicole's reaction to Ted, and Kat's reaction to Eva, will be interesting.

Yes! Andre easily could have just been a hunk with no real depth (like Derek) but his character is rounding out very nicely.

That was my point really. These anniversary party scenes are the first ones, and now they won't be able to use them (meaning these actual scenes, as aired, with OG Ted). They can recreate them but I doubt they will spring for all the extras to come back and film and recreate everything, so it will be more like tight closed in shots of Ted with one or two other actors, or snippets of Leslie's original speech where Ted wasn't visible. It would be hard to recapture the original energy of the scenes are as they were filmed in their full context. I just think that's too bad, but maybe they will prove me wrong. I never really saw what was so off in his portrayal to warrant a recast, anyway, so that colors my perception as well.

The Ted recast really is a shame because now they won't be able to do flashbacks to the best scenes the show has done to date.

The preemptions helped me catch up. Watched the last two episodes today. Obviously fantastic stuff. Martin's acting was really great when he was confronting Ted. He's finally clickin. The look on Naomi and Chelsea's faces when Silk Press talked about Bill... but was she telling the truth? This does explain what I always wondered which is why Silk Press didn't just sue for child support. Hayley all scandalized that Ted had an affair like she isn't a ho. Vanessa all scandalized that Ted had an affair like she isn't a ho, and Doug being like "ummm... ?" but Vanessa having kind of a point, and this setting up a good dynamic that Doug isn't that cool with the arrangement (and, the B&B of it all, with the A storyline going and the B characters sitting around talking about it). That guy popping up to say "that much is true!" about Eva being locked in the closet. Nicole's understated acting and Eva's emotion. Ted not being able to handle Eva at the moment, but you get the sense he's not closed off to her completely. Andre and Eva's unexpected bonding was nice. The point made to Dani that she shouldn't be upset because Ted technically did what she wanted from Bill which was to recommit himself to the family after the affair.

Y&R/B&B/GL Vault Updates
Wonderful, thank you ❤️ As you guys can see I am starting to file things away once a week or so. I put them in a folder so you all know to download by a certain date. That also makes it easier for everyone to see what's new.

Y&R: Actress leaving
There's really no point for Y&R to recast anyone for anything at this point. There is no long term story plan, or any storyline really at all. So if you have a good/popular actor, you can just rest them since it won't affect anything. It is not like you need to recast Summer so you can have her sit at the bar and talk about Kyle. I liked both King and Lanier, so I'm good to wait until one is ready to come back. They can just have Phyllis sit at a bar and talk about Summer and how Summer loves Harrison. It's really a shame how they wasted Lanier. She gave a great performance when she confronted Diane after Phyllis' death.
