  1. She is truly a stunning beauty at any age, and I was just being cheeky
  2. Yeah, but Bobby taunted Jada during the intervention that the divorce could be invalid because Everett signed the papers. Which is what inspired my post.
  3. https://www.mansionglobal.com/articles/as-the-world-turns-star-elizabeth-hubbards-connecticut-home-has-hit-the-market-for-1-45-million-01ce59e0
  4. BTW, until today when Bobby was released from Bayview, I thought the idea that he brought up about not being divorced from Jada (during the ill-fated DID intervention) would come into play. I thought, (or maybe just dreamed?) that Jada signed the admission into the sanitarium as his wife. But, it seems like the issue of who signed the divorce has been forgotten, and it was just a typical 5150 hold.
  5. Yeah, I mean, Maggie's staff is still trying to get Steve's blood out of the upholstery from the last wedding in the living room, so they needed a new venue. 😆 But, it does seem like a public spot does not lend itself to surprise guests. There's no foyer to make a sudden entrance, or doorways to hide behind with trepidation. Is Xander's Mom just going to pop out from Sweet Bits?
  6. The slap doesn't look good as edited, I'll withhold comment until the final product. But, between Sami and Eric, Marlena has about 18 million reasons to hate EJ, so if this begins some ongoing animosity between the two, I would enjoy that. Although, her continued fretting over Jude, versus the more measured way she dealt with EJ's crimes against Sami seems to betray her preference amongst the twins.
  7. Not to be too cheeky, but to me, the updo screams, “tell me the surgical scars are healed without telling me the surgical scars are healed”. 😉 Although, to be fair, these days it probably was just a simple injection.
  8. It looks more like a sequential wedding, rather than a double wedding. Unlike Dimitri/Leo & Gabi/Stefan, they're not sharing the altar at the same time. But, once again, the dark lighting and questionable costume choices are not doing this show any favors.
  9. Ok, now I don't trust my own memory. But, are we meant to believe that after she killed Li, Connie went to the park in a bloody gown with opera gloves, and the only person that noticed her was Bobby? Yet, the moment that she reappeared in the square last week, multiple people commented upon her odd demeanor, and she stuck out like a sore thumb.
  10. Thanks for filling in the blanks @carolineg. But, now you've got me thinking that I've caught a bit of Bobby's DID because I don't recall those scenes at all. I just hope my alter G Swift is not going to join the Alex Kiriakis fan club. 🤔 To me, Friday's episode failed because of the unnecessary flashbacks. It was neither intentionally nor unintentionally funny. I feel like there's nothing I saw that got me excited about the mystery of Li's murder (especially because it has been so long). And, it seems like the whole thing could've been told more efficiently through dialogue between Connie and Bobby. Because if the goal is for us to like Connie, the character would be better served as a sounding board for Bobby, who is played by a more engaging actor than either of her scene partners today.
  11. @Adriana That explains a lot, thanks. That must also be why she knew Bobby was at Bayview. However, why they both waited nine months to discuss Li's murder remains a mystery (unless we account for the WGA strike) 😉🙄😖 Also, the Gil thing was nuts. He drops the book, it gets blood on it (although there was very little blood for a fatal stab wound). Then, touches the body, decides to leave, and takes the book. But, he doesn't wipe it off? When we first saw the book, it looked like it was soaked in blood, but now that seems impossible.
  12. I saw this listing on Facebook for Don Hastings's appearance on Donahue, and it inspired a bit of Googling This appearance seems to be in reference to his daughter Kate (mother Leslie Denniston), who is now 42 (He was 48 at the time of the Donahue show). But, I also learned that his son, Matthew (from his first wife), produced The Handmaid's Tale.
  13. But, how does she know that? (just curious)
  14. The headaches when Bobby changes to Everett have got to be a clue, correct? Because that is an odd indication of a change in personalities. And while I assume Marlena is correct that people with mental illnesses are more likely to be victims rather than perpetrators of crime, it is a hypocritical way to teach that lesson when Connie is running around stabbing people with opera length gloves. Speaking of Connie, how does she know so much information? She knew Li was seeing Marlena, and she knows Bobby is at Bayview. Is she Marlena's unseen assistant? And how does she know to call him Bobby and not Everett? Because it is rather convenient that she just knows all of these secrets, but can't read social cues.
  15. Obviously, I'm viewing all of this material over a compressed period so the story may seem amplified. But, I'm struck that Chris was a more significant character than I'd imagined, and then eight years later Stephen Yates was recast as Jamie. Here's his take on the issue: I recall him as Jamie, although Chris predates my time paying attention to the show. But, were those watching contemporaneously bothered by having the same actor play multiple parts? I guess it was something of an AW tradition, with examples like John Considine playing both Vic and Reginald. Yet, today, social media would be in an uproar over such a thing. https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-daily-news-sy/28452051/
  16. Wow, that's way earlier than I expected, because I recall when she had a fling with Victor, and that seems so much later than 1993. But, I trust you are correct.
  17. @JAS0N47 One more question based on Doug's final episode today. I know Doug and Julie divorced and remarried. So, counting only the time that they were legally wed, are they the longest married couple who we saw got married on the show? In other words, Tom & Alice may have been married longer, but we didn't witness their wedding. Or would it be a couple who we saw got married, and then they moved away, like Jessica and Joshua Fallon, who we assumed have stayed married since 1982.
  18. Just watched it, and I still think it is a plausible idea. Connie could miss, or choose to target more than one person.
  19. Did anyone notice the awkward blocking in the Chad/Jack and the grave scene? They opened the coffin toward the camera, but it forced everyone to look over the coffin, rather than if it opened toward the actors, they would more naturally look inside the coffin while they were speaking their lines. The Drag Race thing was especially odd because it is not on Peacock. You'd think that they would want a bit of cross promotion, and pick a Bravo show with gay content. Are we just supposed to not ask how Connie got into Bayside to visit Bobby? The Julie/Doug scene was a perfect ending to their love story. No need to mention those many years that they knew each other but were divorced. I'm trying to remember when they remarried. Was it in the 2000s?
  20. I wonder if Connie is going to try to kill Melinda (for trying to date Li). Nicole will get accused of the murder because of Melinda's role in the baby switch. Fear that EJ will prosecute her like he did Gabi, and go on the run with Jude. Because it's a looking a little too happily ever after for her and Eric.
  21. Amusingly, is there anything more indicative of an actor’s ego than saving only their own scenes? It’s akin to actors who read only the parts of the script in which they appear. However, giving her the benefit of the doubt, she probably posts scenes that she is in to comply with YouTube rules.
  22. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be a lot of hype for what looks to be a very short term character. Is the gardener from Ellen a huge star? Because he's getting Dick Van Dyke level PR (no judgement, just an observation).
  23. OK, now I'm confused about where's Jack living?!? He seemed to be visiting from Boston, and then he left to return to Jennifer. But, today, he comes sauntering into the Horton living room to chat with Chad. So, where's he been? Does he stay at the Devereaux Estate (surely that's been sold off over the years)? Is he hiding out with Tate and Holly? Is he renting a room at the Pub? And, did anyone notice how dumb Alex was yesterday? He was trying to be Cool-Stepdad to Tate about fake IDs, and then he inadvertently rats him out to Theresa by saying he saw Tate in the park. Quel douche. The Kerry scene went from 0-100 in seven seconds. And why does Justin have more hair when he appears in Port Charles?
  24. @JAS0N47Are they referring to Bill Bell as Willie? There's something so amusing about thinking of him being referenced by that nickname.
  25. The cheese stands alone, but, I think the water gag is funny.
