But, if Megyn Kelly has zero credibility and zero influence (to which I agree), why does she still command multiple headlines every time the media needs to quote a right wing pundit? Given the recent scandal of Russia paying conservative YouTubers like Dave Rubin $400,000.00 to spread disinformation, the right is doing itself no favors by furthering the narrative that the only reason a person would promote conservative political ideas is for personal profit. If I were prone to conspiracy, I'd say that 57.5M viewers is reason enough for networks to push the idea that polls are close between the two candidates.

I don't understand Megyn Kelly I mean, obviously she's a hack for cash. But, she made her name off of criticizing Trump at the 2016 debate. Now she's trying to pretend fairness is her main issue. She was a never-Trumpster. Now, she's so fearful of transgender people interacting with her kid, that she supports him (as if the president can intervene at her daughter's private school?) Like, is this the only way she can get press for whatever media outlet still pays her? And, honestly, does she deserve the amount of focus that she still gets every time she says something dumb for clickbait?

That's a good one, given the recency The Daniel accident also makes sense, given that it was just brought up again. But, wouldn't the timing be off? Because Aaron is the same age as Holly. I assume Felicity is older than Aaron. But Mark couldn't have raised them both for the past 16 years.

AMC: Lifetime TV Movie Franchise Announced
There's so much to consider, because it seems like Lifetime (or any network) would insist that it would be a stand-alone story, so that it would have wide appeal. Much like when they did the Flowers in the Attic movies, they re-introduced the characters every time, so they didn't need to depend on audience prior knowledge. And given that's been a long time since AMC was on the air, I wonder how much time will be spent re-establishing characters. Obviously, actors have aged, some have died, and others have gone onto to other projects. So, will they re-cast? Will they have new characters and just include cameos from other actors? I can't imagine a story set in Pine Valley without some reference to Erica Kane. But, I guess anything is possible.

It is an interesting theory, because she was in that room for a while. Initially, I thought Chad (or Jennifer) caused the accident, and the Greenes were out for vengeance. But the only recent car accidents that I recall are Xander forcing Bonnie and Susan off the road, and Jennifer's accident that injured Gwen. And we never heard of additional injuries in either case.

You had to know Page Six would come in with a crazy conspiracy I mean, any fool would have predicted the questions, so that's hardly an advantage.

AMC: Lifetime TV Movie Franchise Announced
I see it like the old novelizations but set in a contemporary environment (with cameos from original stars). Like the story of Chuck and Donna (not my first choice, but it was fairly self-contained). You could re-tell their entire story, update the dialogue and the setting, and make it into a two-hour movie. I like the nostalgic appeal of re-telling the most memorable plots, rather than updating old characters.

So, I wonder if the Greene's grew up in Salem. Because it always goes back to my main issue, which is aren't these people famous in their home town? Jack and Jennifer owned the newspaper, his father was a serial killer, and their cousins saved the planet. You would think anyone who was raised nearby would know their history. For example, you're actually hanging out in the town square named for their grandparents. I guess you might not know their family secrets, like who slept with whom. But, certainly you'd know, Stephanie was a racecar driver who was almost kidnapped by an airlines company that was a front for human trafficking.

AMC: Lifetime TV Movie Franchise Announced
https://tvline.com/news/all-my-children-tv-movies-lifetime-cast-returning-1235328653/ Multiple sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that preliminary discussions are underway at Lifetime to launch a TV-movie franchise featuring legacy characters from the classic Pine Valley-set daytime drama, which ran on ABC from 1975 to 2011 before being briefly resurrected as a web series in 2013. An insider cautions that the talks are in the early stages, with one source describing the conversations as “exploratory.”

I think CNN (and especially MSNBC) would be better served by using the term dissatisfied voters as opposed to undecided. We've all heard every hack comedian make jokes about the fact that it would be illogical to be undecided in the current election cycle. But, MSNBC seemed to be speaking to voters who were not thrilled about either candidate going into the debate. Personally, that voter always feels regressive to Bush-era politics where people were convinced to vote for the personality of the candidate, rather than being strategic and voting a party ticket. But, evolution takes time.

NYT fact checking strikes again. I would argue this doesn't need any context, because it was just Trump being nuts. I'd bet Trump's entire 400 million dollar inheritance, that he did not know there was any factual basis for this claim.

Lindsey Davis was a star tonight, and I hope she rides this performance to big things at ABC. She was measured, strong, and exceptionally prepared with questions that weren't always the most obvious.

My point on the Lance and Melissa relationship is that it was a great setup for a Kate/Petruchio-Taming-of-Shrew-type of relationship. Taking two antagonists and making them fall in love, which is one of my favorite types of romances in soaps (like Jake and Paulina on AW). And I am sad that it was never developed into that type of story after watching that great scene between the two.

CNN had a Republican trying to critique ABC's fact-checking Trump during the debate, and the other Republican on the panel replied, "you can't blame the ref when your team can't sink a jump shot", and I think that is a perfect response.

I prefer the old theme. Also, I didn't recall that half these people were on the show at one time or another (Carrie-Ann Inaba?).

I find it odd that Ava is the key to so many secrets and mysteries, but she feels no compulsion to tell anyone. For example, she knows Melinda went to fire Connie, but she met with Roman, Stefan, and Brady before she decided to mention it to anyone. She also knows Brady didn't run over Sarah, but she didn't tell Jada. I know she was raised in the mafia, but she's got to learn it is OK to snitch sometimes…

Falcon Crest
I was watching an early scene with Melissa and Lance (it was either Joseph's christening, or their wedding). They were delightfully sparring underneath their breath while pretending to be happy. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me wish that they were each other's romantic end game, and it didn't get so nasty between the two. Cole was never going to make Melissa happy, and she was poorly treated by most of her other love interests. But, there was a respect for the familiarity of their upbringing that could've bonded Melissa and Lance throughout the years. Sadly, he became too dumb and she became too nutty.
