It was horrible that they killed off Quinn and Maisie. Quinn was the best example of a strong, powerful woman of color on daytime. Maisie had great chemistry with Vince McKinnon. Both were losses to the show's canvas.

Can anyone tell me anything about Jeff the intern in 1980? He was a roommate to Darcy Collins, Brad Huntington, and Alan Ross. He had problems with a doctor that supervised him. He is in synopses and then he's not. Does anyone know the character's full name or the actor that played him? How long was he around? In September 82, I read Nola had a baby girl by Tor[?]. Does anyone know anything about Tor? I know KZ's real life husband AC Weary played him. Did he have a last name? What was their daughter's name? Thanx for any info..............

Danfling, in response to an earlier post, I believe Cynthia Ewing may be the name of Linc's romantic interest in 78-79. From an archived French Fan post Look into the Past from JonMichael Reed's column Jun 79, she was a former flame of Linc. This may be the Fern Fitzgerald character.

I read about the character Tic de Cosgrove on the AWHP and in old synopses. He was a friend of Iris' in the 70s. Does anyone know who played him? I heard he was a comical character!

Probably, a lot of the old Who's Who on Soaps[an annual magazine] in the 80s would say actors appeared on other soaps without character names. I think a lot of them may have been under fives.

Ditto. Knots had the best cast, writers, stories, locations. When other shows went off the reservation with outlandish storylines, Knots kept its focus.

I was just on Mary Linda Rapelye.com where she has 2 videos, one of the character Cal in jail fantasizing about Maggie. The other is Maggie dressed up in a red wig as Cal's wife Billie Lou. In the Cal/Billie Lou video they are playing poker with a man named Missouri Spats. Does anyone know who played the role? He looks familiar.

I was off myself for almost a month, I was taken to the hospital with rapid onset Diabetes. I was out for two days before I was lucid. I was in the hospital for a week and wasn't really with it for two weeks of recuperating. I'm glad u r doing better. I've been reading archived summaries from French Fan to refresh my memory about Santa Barbara [and all the other shows{anything marked look Into the Past}]. It's incredible how much cast turnover there was in the first year or two. Characters were created and dropped so quickly. Lookimg forward to your posts.

I just read that Patricia Barry appeared as a character named Carla on ATWT. Does anyone know anything about her character? I loved her as Miss Sally on GL. I wish I could have seen her on Days, and I started seriously watching AMC not long after she left.
