  1. He was on and ..."Offed"...
  2. Uggghhh...boring Buzz...But yeah to David Lewis' Edward grumbling... Tom Hardy should still be a member of the cast...if not hin, his son! I totally forgot that Jake got Lucy preggers.
  3. Enjoying the Quincy episodes.Jack Klugman was great, and the stories always twist and turn.
  4. I know Sarah wasn't an insta sister, but McTavish was so busy tying the other two, and Sarah returned at the same time. I seriously haven' t any recollection of that return except she was terrible. I don't think anyone I know liked KUNG FU Courtney...She was self righteous one day, stripper the next...I just couldn't stand her.
  5. I can field that one, IMHO, Courtney was one of the worst of Guza's insta sisters that appeared at the time. Actually, they all kinda stunk. Sarah Webber, kung fu Courtney, Kristina Cassadine and I think there was another. Courtney was all over the board...she's a victim, she's a hero, she's with Jason, she's w/AJ, she's w/ Jax, she's w/ Nik...No matter who played her, the character was an OVEREXPOSED Clunker. Kristina was a great actress in a role they didn't know what to do with, and Sarah Webber at the time...I don't even remember the story...Torpey would have been a little too soft, EHP a little harsh, but the only thing that made Courtney work for me was the monkey fever. They all seemed about as well planned as Cartini's characters! Again I know a lot of people liked Kung Fu Barbie, but that's just my opinion.
  6. And they gave him the keys . That's who I was thinking it was, but I thought he was shorter for some reason..It's been a LOOOOOOOOONG time since I watched these years.. I should watch some more ...
  7. CHomp chomp, Erika...Sometimes her histrionics made me LMAO. Nice to see unsung hero Rafe and Dr. Larry... Max and Jamie both fill out those jeans well. The Jamie actor, now there is an unfortunate name...Mark Philpot.. almost sounds porn-y!
  8. That's Patrick O'Connor w/ Amy(Guy Mack) The screaming Mimis are Lori(Diane Mozer) and Val(Tuesday Knight). The hot Guy is Greg Howard(John Preston). Who is Corey? I don't remember him. Nice to see other hospital Busybody, Joann(Jodie Mann) the Nurse...
  9. Thanks for the info/ pictures!
  10. Lesley saving Monica's bacon...One of my favorite characters, Stella Fields, the harried maid of the original Q's. Alan/Rick/Dr. John Priest in ambulance on the way to rescue...Priest looks familiar from nighttime...anyone recognize him?
  11. Famous Guest stars...Tanya Welk Falan Roberts(daughter of Lawrence Welk) appeared in 1971 as a tavern owner. Blonde bomb Mamie Van Doren apeared in 75 or 76...Does anyone know if she played a character or herself. Every time I've seen her associated with the show, she doesn't have a character name, It would just say Mamie Van Doren Guest Star. Just wondering.
  12. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^just ignore that^^^^^ So Spence Andrews (Daniel J Travanti) had sos, Matt and Ryan...did they ever appear on the show? This must be not too long after Dr Gina Dante(OBGYN) left, as Monica is waiting for a call from Dr. Dana Hotchkiss. Mir. Kirkorian's wife Pat died(under Rick Webber's care)..Don't recall if they ever showed her..This was one of those things they repeated...Rick was sued in 76or77 for malpractice(I think it was Rick) by a Mr.Stuart Kennicott after his wife died, and in 83, Vincent Larick held Bobbie and(?Monica ) hostage when his wife died.

  14. Here's a question for Carl and Paul Raven, as well as anyone with knowledge of where to find old articles. A friend of my was telling me he's been trying to find a November 1963 issue of TV/Radio Mirror[or Radio/TV Mirror...whichever it went by that year]. Apparently it has a Who's Who on General Hospital article, and he's been searching E Bay for years. Does anyone know if it is available online anywhere? I went to Internet Archive on Open Library. com, but they only go to June of 63. Can anyone suggest other places to look? Thanks in advance, it would be great to be able to pass the info along...
  15. Not as long as the chik in chik fil a is still there
  16. Frau Wet Blanket Werner had quite the look on her face, like the cat that ate the canary today. Continue to love Carolee's character...and how about that swingin' date with those two WILD AND CUHRAZY GUYS! Liz's date had me laughing. William Bogert who played her date later went on to many New York daytime roles, perhaps the longest being attorney Fred Greer on ATWT, who I think was Tonio Reyes' lawyer. Other roles included Curtis Eldon on AW, and several OLTL day parts, including one Claude Quinnet. We also learned from the credits that Mrs. Stark's first name is Hope. I can see why the ladies loved Jody Lee Bronson...that down home country charm, and he could see right through people's facades and tell them the way things are. Still loving Martha Allen. Sally Gracie just fits the role so well. I imagine Sweeney was created in the 70s to fill her void when Gracie left. Is the role of Erich getting ready to start "showing" up? Matt's reluctance to talk to Maggie is going to start eating him up!
  17. It's a shame that Gerald Gordon was never cast as a business associate/rival of Lucinda's...Sparks would have flown!...I mean, he took a bit part on AMC as a lawyer, imagine a triangle btwn Lucinda, Lisa, and GG...
  18. On Danfling's site, he asked if anyone knew if Jon Voight appeared on Love of Life. A response was given, but I have trouble believing he played Phil Holtz, a suitor of Barbara Sterling. If anyone knows of Voight appearing on LOL, I'd like to pass it on there. I have trouble taking information, as someone replied to my Susan Harney questions I also asked on this site and I got the response that she played Connie Lingus on Edge of Night and Imma Heaux on Secret Storm, so I'm a little leery of responses from anyone but Danfling there.
  19. On Friday's episode, Liz mentioned her mother was in an institution. Does anyone know why? I know her mother was Harriet played by Meg Myles, and her father, Keith was played by Morgan Sterne. I know she was originally the girlfriend of Mike Powers (according to books I've read), but I don't know much about her prior to Dec. '67. dominicmars check your PM .
  20. Sheilah was actually interested in Tim Siegel. She did work with Larry. I had to look her up and check on it.
  21. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOj5TtZdAcg Its an old Rick/Lesley from 1979. Came across this watching some stuff on youtube. I didn't know Daniel J. Travanti's Spence had kids, were they ever on the show? Did Lesley ever get pregnant by Rick? Reading the youtube comments, I couldn't tell if she did or it was just fanfic by the posters. I'm not very tech savvy, or computer literate, so I couldn't post it. If anyone knows how to post it, please help, or is it blocked? Not sure...
  22. I didn't think I missed them, thanks!
  23. Four great episodes today. Won't spoil them for people that watch. Did anyone see Albert Ottenheimer and Mis Waalewijn? Or did I miss them?
  24. Eileen's observations about the tightened va jay jay made me ROTFF!
