They don't show him, but Byron Sanders played Brandon's boss, Mr. Woodward https://books.google.com/books?id=BOYCAAAAMBAJ type Byron Sanders in search... I believe his wife was played by Christine Jones(a lot of soaps).

So I was reading the article (great find by the way!) and I was wondering two things. 1. Ed Kemmer played Stowe Philllips. Does anyone know anything about this character? 2. Who did actor Angus Duncan play in 64? Thanks in advance!

I love Brandon's secretary having no time for Erica. Tricia Pursley reminds me of Rebecca Mader with that hairstyle. It's much more flattering than the short 83-84 style I remember. Mark grossing her out talking about having kids w/her mom... . Palmer being Palmer! Sean being a sleaze... I don't remember Betsy being a homewrecker. The never seen Roger Kingsley mentions. I've never heard him spoken about, I saw the name in a book. I wonder if they ever planned to cast him. It would have been funny if Roger were Larry Lau. Then we would never have had Natalie Ross' Enid Nelson.

Just watched episodes 10 and 11. Skipper(Woody Brown) opens episode 11 running around in a pair of shorts that leaves little to the imagination. (Those old school short shorts!) He is chasing a beautiful Denise Galik(Cindy,GH,RhondaGH,Kim,DOOL,Linda, KL,Rhonda aka Cookie,PC) who plays quite a manipulator. Loving this series more each episode!

I always liked the Karen/Ed dynamic at the Boardinghouse. Ina's own little Land of Misfit Toys...Karen, Ed, Katrina, Marcello Salta. They always had each other's backs, when they weren't stabbing them(Karen stealing Katrina's baby for Jenny). Never heard of this Louise, she must not have been around long... Desiderio was definitely the better Steve(as well as Mr. Judith Light).

I swear Puckerman looks like he's getting gray hair... Kurt is truly more irritating every week. Amen... I enjoyed the Becky story. Is that the manny from Modern Family as her boyfriend? She's a great little actress, and I love when her stories are so well written.

The show may have skewed old, but so were most of its fans, myself included. People who appreciated a show with several generations represented, which was a nice change of pace from a lot of the crap shown on television. Characters that had history which for the most part was shown through vets that had appeared for many years. They were the faces ou could count on to brighten your day, make you laugh, cry or just think. Had P&G and CBS not fallen asleep at the wheel and fired wrecking ball Passanante and ushered in real writers the show could have pulled out of the slump.Nobody bothered and Moonves rewarded trophy wife with a series. A series which has taken how many years to catch on? It begs the question, as a soap fan how would you feel if YOUR favorite show was cancelled to make way for yet another talk show...one of about 500 currently on?

I refuse to acknowledge that the Talk exists, since it replaced ATWT. For someone on a soap opera board, saying ATWT should have been cancelled, why are you even here?

Yeah, they had written him into such a corner, and now w/Brian Hallisay a regular, he was expendable .
