Thank Donald Trump for the ratings spikes. The View has done well because Whoopi, Joy and Jed have really upped their game since last winter when Trump decided to run. We all know CCB and Raven haven't helped w/ the ratings much. Today was another great day on the show!

Some additions /stories I like in the new season... Alex's questioning her sexuality. Now just hook Winn up with a boyfriend. I don't see Winn ever getting Kara. Ian Gomez as Snapper Carr. Sharon Leal...who I have enjoyed since GL, Boston Public,etc. The alien bar, where they can de -compress after cases and have a personal life. Dr. Scott Adams was involved with Nikki. Snapper set them up with Casey's permission. Although she couldn't believe he wasn't just interested in her body, he convinced her she could be a better person if she tried. Not long after she slept with her professor for a grade. I looked this up in the Anniversary book--I couldn't remember the storyline, only that he was with Nikki. Not sure about the Sherman Madison role in 87 though.

I was watching (after school))in 85. Some of the stories were good. There was the Cass/Felecia/Wally group with humor. The show had just started brought the McKinnons into focus..dropping Kathleen Layman who I thought was more realistic as a cop than Sally Spencer. Soon after the writers gutted the cast down to Corys/Loves/McKinnons (1986) and a handful (Felecia/Cass/Wally/Maisie/Quinn--three murdered/died in the following year or so) The Ewing family was written out--except for Brittany now a Love. I enjoyed watching the antics (as a kid)
