Around 94 they got rid of most of the "peripheral" characters. I thought she left sooner. Not bad, a short term part turned into seven years.

She was the only one that could do Wanda justice. Loved MC on OLTL

Exactly. Knowing those other characters mattered enough to warrant romances, or just scenes with friends...that is what made ATWT special!

Karl (played by Richard Backus who also played Betsy's kidnapper Russ Elliott) Eldredge was Helen Eldredge's nephew. He was an attorney that handled her will and took over the Lawrence family trust. His marriage to Monika was one of those small plot lines for minor characters. He often had characters that weren't major still have little plot lines to show a full community. Like Simon and Thelma, Ambrose and Jane, they didn't have major stories but they still had lives.

Monika married Karl Eldredge and lasted til about 93 as a small recurring role..

I liked it, too Vee, and I didn't expect to. Tara and Rosita were two characters that were always just "there" for me. Fleshing Tara out, giving her a fun sense of humor helped me 'get' her and start to like her more. Why is it whenever Negan has a scene I feel like I'm watching a Tyler Perry show.
