I remember it was very telling that Genevieve's last episode was Jill's return episode, they going/coming thru the same door. lol. From Monday's episode or the general opening? I would be down for that.

Yeah, I agree. I mean...look at what has happened just in the first part of a spiral...MESS. Cody at least has had enough of a connection made to Mac and family and a nice written monologue for me to care somewhat. Sasha not so much until this latest turn of events and even I picked on the style in which it was done. And sadly, Sasha already appears to be recovering too quick for me. Yep. Pretty much. Same. Hopefully there is not more BTS drama to come from the hidden ABC guy. But then again...

11-6 Oh lord! Not the baby cam!!! LOL!!! But seriously, you all were not lying about this being messy. Michael already knows after Willow pulled this fake 'who I just didn't talk to 5 minutes ago' to Drew. And if looks could kill, Michael would have Willow and Drew reduced to ash. But again...can Michael say ANYTHING when he is running around not telling Willow he slept with Sasha. That said...it would be awesome if he showed that video before the election. But then again...he probably will if I'm right that they are burning off the last of stories that were clearly PM's. I was totally submerged in Alexis and Dante. NLG and DZ were playing their grief to the hilt. OMG NLG has Alexis looking like hell. And I really appreciated that they touched on the very thing that I was worried about for Alexis...if Alexis would fall off the wagon. Her getting back on the wagon and getting her law license back was hard fought. And I would hate it go down the drain. At least right now. So I loved the writers took that head on and Alexis expressed herself. And Dante and his grief. I thought DZ dropped the ball just a little bit a few episodes back, but this was more in my feels. I loved Sonny AND Olivia being there for him. And when he was talking about what he wanted...to have Sam alive again...I'm not sure who wrote that dialogue...but as someone who has lost someone that he was deeply in love with...that hit. DZ was pitch perfect...and I teared up. DZ sold that and how he's moving around Sam's apartment...just the presence. I really just wanted to hug Dante. That was soooo well done for me. I've been there. I felt that. The ghosts... If FV is going to do anything, he (just like RC) will find a way to get a guy shirtless. lol. Drew. Lucas. Not that I'm complaining. If malpractice or murder is going on, I do feel they are going a little tooooooo slow with that angle to Sam's death though. But at least they are hinting. Hm. For some reason, I already thought everyone knew about Sasha and Holly...lol. So it's funny to see Carly didn't know. But it was a nice way for her and Anna to compare notes. And then Brennan with the ID on Sidwell. Now how are they not a triangle again?

She was. I mean the hip story was started before PM. It has crossed my mind though since most of it was written under PM, and we are talking about an EP who is petty enough to feel a way about someone or something and get rid of it so I could see him telling the writers to get rid of this arc for Heather since audiences were already clowning it due to Portia being made the villain and yet the audience STILL rooted for Portia over Heather. Seeing it as a sore spot, the story gets tabled until they can have Heather pop up again. Watching I'm surprised as well. And I knew nuances were going to be gone, but darn! From understanding 2/3 of a triangle to finally getting the third POV only for one of the characters it started with (Nina) to be completely shut out is...bizarre. Only than that plotpoint lunch with Ava, Nina is just...gone. Then again...it is kinda like a story that winds up adding in Carly, Sonny, or Jason. OR a story about Liz that gets hijack by another character. Now that I think about it...not unusual for THIS show.

That's good to hear. I wasn't sure how adamant JW was about that these days. But very true. Very lucky she has not been killed off or erased.

11-5 I know I'm going to shock @carolineg, but poor Diane. She's not my favorite side character, but even I felt sorry watching her today. And by sorry, I meant her walking in on Robert and Holly. I guess I really zoned out on the Robert/Holly scenes on 11-4. So much so that I didn't realize they were close to kissing. And Holly with that smug grin on her face. Ugh. Cat that ate the canary look? Yes. But did I like it? Even though I love catfights, no. In that moment what could have been a nice triangle was made clear to be one-sided. I guess I liked that Diane saw the writing on the wall in the same episode and knew it was time to bounce. Hmmm...I continue to like the gradual reveal that Sam died to the general PC community. This episode with Jason telling Diane (and SB selling that). Carly letting Willow and Sasha know. Alexis, Molly, and Kristina dealing with the aftermath with TJ. That felt that was all good. Except for Kristina making it about her. I rather the focus stayed on Alexis (NLG looked like hell) who only irked me when she wanted to be sure Molly would forgive Kristina. That said...it was pretty B plot this episode. I thought I would enjoy Willow vs Sasha more. I was Team Sasha, but I found the scenes so weak energy. Not that Sasha was wrong. And look at what Willow immediately did. Speaking of...so it happened? Willow and Drew had sex? And I felt...??? While it's definitely messy...and at a glance thru the board will be moreso...it was going to be messy beforehand. The only difference being that beforehand, I had everyone's POV and an opinion on it all. So outside of Willow being a big ole H#e, and Drew coming across as a creeper...I'm not sure what to think of them finally doing it. And Michael can't say anything since he had sex with Sasha. I mean their confrontation scenes better bring the heat cuz these Willow vs Sasha scenes, like I said, had weak energy. And Nina again an afterthought. Which seriously...this whole time it has gone on Willow really still doesn't know about Drew and Nina? Even I am sitting here going...wait...how? And that ending? Well Carly ain't wrong. She knows better people than the police to deal with Sidwell. I'm still shocked it took him this long to make it to Port Charles. And just the fact he got onto the secure Q grounds and kidnapped Sasha. Wow. But...Jason to the rescue. lol.

11-12 I expected this to be a slower day low-key given that the special episode is tomorrow. So I was happy to have a feast for the eyes. This time around I got the aforementioned Nikki touching the glass scene that was mentioned above. There were also the opening scenes cutting through three settings I believe, and the camera swooping in steadily which I love...and I guess that's going to be how it is in the opening of each episode then. Well...GOOD. When Phyllis threw down the phone on the table was another one. And then her closing scene at the end of the episode which gave old Phyl as well as old Y&R. And they done extended out the hotel rooms now, too. And there was a little extra in the little hallway I was talking about during 11-8 as well as Victoria went to get tea for Nikki. And lest I forget...I saw you do that little hair toss, Jill. Just a feast for the eyes again with so much atmosphere again and vibrant colors and things that catch your eyes. I'm starting to feel spoiled, and we haven't gotten to the wedding yet. I'm shocked to say it but I think my highlight was Phyllis vs Sharon. Sharon not only stepping into her crazy, which is bringing out her bitca...much, much, MUCH needed when dealing with Phyllis. I almost thought Sharon was about to slap her at one point. Meanwhile, Phyllis was matching that crazy. And I honestly didn't think Sharon would be caught in the room until the end of the episode. But 10 minutes in? I gasped. But I love a good catfight, and I felt they both gave as good as they got...until Sharon passed out. And then from there, SC was channeling Kristen Dimera for me circa 1996/7 DAYS when she would play being nice to the characters, but the audience knew she was faking it cuz the hatred/rivalry was clear. Sharon has edge again. And Poor Chance. He told off Phyllis and then turned around and told off Sharon. I guess I am here for the Tale of Two Crazies then now that the storyline is moving again. Then there was Jill vs Victor. I enjoyed every minute of it. And Victor trying to use Jill's visit with Snapper and her medical condition against her. Loved Jill reminding Victor he ain't no spring chicken, either. And they still had mad respect for each other...as Victor showed by thanking Jill for returning to town to be at the wedding. It goes without saying JW looked fierce. I do feel Jill folded too easily. Then again, there is the next shoe to drop since Billy managed to get Lily to come back to Chancellor (as everyone BUT Billy calls it) with a written promise and NO Phyllis. And that was what Jill wanted so I don't know what her next move will be...stick with Billy/Lily or give in to Victor? So intrigued. Also intriguing...Billy vs Devon. I was Team Devon. lol. I know Billy ain't over here stepping to Devon when all Devon is doing is backing his sister and knows Billy ain't nothing but an a$$hat. I enjoyed all too briefly that argument. Devon even had a little bit of swag in that clear marking territory scene. So...good episode. Phyllis is biting off more than she can chew by setting that trap. So going to blow up in her face even though she's right. Oh, I almost forgot...love the coda with the closeup on the birthday cake. But I enjoyed the Ashley/Abby scenes today for obvious reasons.
