  1. As usual saying a lot of how I feel better in words than I. One thing I have liked watching the last few episodes has been...even when she has had some bad moments...Ubah has been a good friend. The episode before the last one had that as a spotlight. Which made her being all kinds of tone deaf worse. Same about Erin. Her and Ubah have definitely been shades of good and bad. And I might not be liking Erin on this trip, but I expect her to flip the script once they are back in NY and I feel sympathetic toward her again. Cuz right now, she's being the same way she was on the trip last season. I continue to love how much you are liking Sai. Brynn is definitely making the trip bad, but the last two episodes for better or worse have not been boring. Jessel eating Brynn up at every turn has been a clear highlight. Jealous trick.
  2. 'Who are you to tell Erica Kane...' IKTR, LA LUCCI!! That segment was great. And seeing that OLTL pic just got me teary-eyed. I have faith that KM can bring it as the wild card given what I saw of her on B&B once Maya went bad, I feel the potential is there. I'm more interested in Dani...just her vibe, her presence...and I remember the actress from OLTL and loving her as a recast. And I love seeing the spotlight always on the Duprees and how they are such the core four in pictures, promotion, and interviews. A solid place to grow from. 27 sets!!! YES, PLEASE. And just seeing MVJ is inspiring.
  3. That's good question since Sonny had no problem bumping off a FBI agent only a few months back.
  4. Speak on it. And so excited that BTG is getting some more promotion with that segment tomorrow.
  5. I didn't even think of that! re: Thursday being new day. It was just the conviction in how JE played it. And it definitely did not feel like stalling. I can't wait to see how it turns out next week. Yeah it's been the writing on the wall since Sidwell popped back up as FV's flavor of the month/villain du jour. I still feel they are stalling his exit a la Peter August because, while the storyline pieces are right there and coming together nicely, no one still has catch on that Cyrus killed Sam, Dex, and (almost) Michael. Even the new story beat of Joss now being a potential target and Liz as Cyrus bait has been lost by mid-week when they should be flowing naturally around the Michael drama. It's a solid B plot at this point that could be rotating in and out of the Michael drama/fallout which was great A plot.
  6. I love that. A little over a month to go...
  7. 1-17 Yeah, now seeing it, I stand by what I said yesterday. Thursday was the weakest episode of the batch of episodes this week. But I feel for me, like I said before, that part of it no doubt are the actors, but part of it is who is the HW at the top of the credits. Love her or hate her, the 'historian' just tends to have scenes that really resonate. I also don't feel like it is not completely implausible most of the time. And I almost always like the intriguing ways the stories go which usually seem full of possibilities. I mentioned earlier that I loved that they played the beat of Cody vs Drew. It felt like for a few episodes, they were going to build that into something. Only for it to turn into nothing. So good to see them back into each other's face...even if it's only to add another suspect in the 'murder mystery'. lol. Bonus for adding Jordan into the mix for that as well. It goes without saying that Drew as a prick works for me and CM is running with it. Definitely hitting love to hate out of just pure hate. Lulu as BLQ's assistant. Even I kinda was taken aback at her wanting to work at Deception. Memories of JMB's Lulu. I was hoping that she would go back to being a reporter which worked wonders for Lulu and I felt AB could pull it off, too. But I did like that that very fact (Lulu as a reporter) was brought up on screen. And there is so much potential for a Lulu/Maxie/BLQ triangle so to speak. Lulu was sleep for 4 years and Maxie has a new BFF who happens to be Lulu's nemesis. A nemesis who has grown. Meanwhile, Lulu is 4 years behind. There is so much potential for organic drama there. Mmmmm Ric/Ava. But hahaha at Ric taking her money. I liked seeing some non-whiny Ava. I'm not sure if I felt that Ric had a point, though. I mean...everyone else is doing emergency custody fights. Why not Ava? Watching Sidwell wander about town had me wondering today...has he even run into anyone who has reason to arrest him yet? Jason? Anna? Lucky? Because it feels like he's just hanging around waiting for Robert and Holly to come back for February Sweeps with no endgame in sight. And awww at Willow reaching some kind of compromise with Carly and Sonny. And those scenes with Carly and Michael were good. But everything with that as Portia explained and Carly tried to get them on her side to send Michael to Germany was pretty good. I enjoyed Lucas and Brad had a moment. Highlight...shocking no one was Tracy. Outside of the last few seconds of the episode, Tracy was nothing, but cunning, paying off Thursday's end of episode where she promised she would be like that. And Tracy was flawless. She dragged Chase, checked BLQ, and then took on Drew and the PoPo. And all I could do was think STFU DREW...WHY IS HE EVEN HERE? UGH. LOL. Love the twist of the kids flying the coop. I bet she let Jason run off with them. Can't wait until next week to find out the truth. Well, Cyrus might be gone long before that so... Same. I was looking forward to BOTH jobs because they fit for both of them and have plenty of storyline possibilities.
  8. Now you know I like surprises. Always down for speculations though.
  9. I would have rather seen Lucky with Felicia, but Spin is a good choice, too. I also think PI screams his name. He gets to be close to his family AND get to scratch that Spencer adventure itch of his. I enjoyed that, too. And in light of the discussion of youth...I thought it was cute that this popped up...
  10. Same as above. Look at everyone pivoting from the career that sets them in a new direction. Alexis. Lulu now. Felicia. And yet they can't find something for Lucky that makes sense?
  11. Whhhhhhhhhhhat!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah. I'm glad to have this last weekend to myself to get my mind ready. This is going to be a looooooong four (hopefully) years.
  12. Wack Chase again, Tracy!!!! Wack him for me!!!! lol Good to see they are still playing this beat.
  13. EVERY...ONE. I agree. Her presence definitely has the gravitas needed.
  14. Now that would have been a sparring match for sure. She might have even put some fear in that version of Carly. Kinda like how Luke kinda did. Agree. Jane Elliot always gives a good cat that ate the canary grin/smile/smirk, but that one yesterday had a little more going on beneath the surface and Jane Elliot played that subtext soooo well. Relish indeed.
  15. I agree. Say what you want...and I have...about these New/Old Writers, but this has been good soap. But I said that, too...lol. The more messy and complicated it is, the better it's flowing which is why this last week has indeed been fun to watch. It IS messy. And now it's touching on past history which makes it even better. And given where it started, that's high praise. The only thing that irked me has been Nina as an afterthought, but they have been using her wisely now. That 'We'll see' was so flawless from JE yesterday. I would love to see Tracy vs Carly a little more often after that. It didn't start well for me, but I love that both actress mid-episode elevated the material.
  16. Awww, but definitely excited for Daredevil as always.
  17. Awwww Good to hear. True on that. Just when it seems like they are writing a character into a corner, they swipe left. Same. It's looking that way.
  18. 1-16 As said earlier, I would say this was the weakest of the week. Even though it was full of good moments, even the emotional stuff (outside of Tracy and even that did not go as well as I expected) felt very paint by numbers. I don't mind Trina and Kai. Well I don't mind them now. Like I said with Trina and Gio's scenes...when they are allowed scenes to breathe and just being, they have spark now. It's when they do things like today and it comes across as gimmicky is when there is a problem. Yeah, those after-the-fact scenes with Willow did nothing for me, either. That said...Katelyn M. DID step it up. And throughout, I felt she was getting a POV and thus layers in a way that Willow normally does not. More hints of Dark Willow (pun unintended)? Time will tell. Well, well, well. Those Alexis/Curtis scenes felt like more foreshadowing for the oft-mentioned murder mystery since she starting to see Drew like everyone else. Another one on 'The List.' Oh, look at Gio in a short-sleeve shirt!! hehe. But I kinda dug the Dante/Cody scenes. It actually felt like it has been a minute. And enter: MS. WU!!! I've been waiting and per usual...worth the wait. Though I did wonder if she was about to kidnap Gio. I felt let down by the Tracy vs Carly scenes, but that has nothing to do with the actresses. I guess it goes back to yesterday's discussion about stronger dialogue. That said...both actresses managed to elevate it by middle of the episode. And Tracy's 'we'll see' with the music in the background and the cunning on her face was superb, making me think of the scheming Tracy of old. Another masterclass from Jane Elliot. As for the young'uns. I think we have a strong if bland bunch in Joss, Trina, Kai, Gio, and now (apparently) Emma. If only they had stronger writing. But they all...except for Gio...have had a nice moment over the last month so good for now.
  19. Yeah, I was watching those Alexis/Curtis scenes and went BOOM! ANOTHER SUSPECT FOR THE DREW'S MURDER LIST!
  20. Yeah...I'm feeling that. ETA: And then my girl walked through the door. FINALLY!!!
  21. LOL. Not Heavenly and Shady Phae Phae fighting about her donation. It's Kyle vs Garcelle again!!!
  22. I think for me, it's Ubah, Jessel, and Erin. I need to see Sai's dress move though I love the picture. And I like Raquel, but I hate the hair as well. Cuz her on WWHL last week was va-va-rooom hot.
  23. Well we gotta get her to be a target somehow. HA
  24. Ikr!!! I also believe they were planning on it. Also...Whitney and Monica DID film. Someone got a picture of it and posted said picture online last week. Yeah...I admit that RHOP apparently was the weak link this week (and NY has caught up to their numbers, too) which makes me scared to watch it. BH sounded like it was good. NY most def was good. And now THIS? They blew their version of the BH Dinner Party from Hell out of the water. Just as good...if not better...than last season's finale.
