  1. Yes. I've thought about that a lot after seeing Robin on ATWT. It would have worked great. I liked Phillip and Olivia too. Often times chemistry is because the actors dislike each other, lol. So it worked. Still not entirely sure what went down between GA/CC. Wasn't it rumored/confirmed Judi Evans had issues with GA too? I mean, like all of us in life with the people we meet, not everyone will vibe or get along.
  2. It was so mind boggling they fired her. AND NEVER brought her back. Hope was NEVER brought back. And then you had a bunch of similar aged women running around. It was so stupid. I kind of notice they had a tendency to dump someone and slot someone else in. Maeve dies, here comes Holly, etc.
  3. She also had issues on DAYS. Yet she also had a ton of friends there. So ... it can go both ways, lol. I'd hang out with both her and Zimmer as they get drunk and spill the tea ... It's really sad so many leading ladies have "issues" with each other, that are likely blown vastly out of proportion.
  4. So tired of seeing folks being targeted on YouTube. Why can't we have nice things?
  5. He's her husband so it was probably Locher wanting to be nice and include him. Lindstrom was also on ATWT. So ... it kinda works.
  6. All of this. I mean, seriously all of us sitting here can do a better job ... just sayin' And yes on Signy. She should have been a new character, I liked her on the show but no to Annie. Wasn't it ultimately meant as shock value she was Annie because they likely had no idea what to do with Teri? Or am I mis-remembering. Because that's how it came across. This sort of answers my confusion on her role. I really don't buy she was meant to be Annie from the start but who knows?
  7. It would have. Though I'd have wanted Watros to play it out.
  8. Annie should have been the Nursery Rhyme Stalker.
  9. Oh yes, thanks for reminding me. I keep forgetting about that.
  10. Yasssssss! I've been waiting for this one!
  11. Oh don't get me wrong, I'm Team Zimmer too. LOL. You said it all better than I did though. AGREED on Cassie. The writing was often so lackluster for her.
  12. She flees PV or gets an offer she can't refuse. She already has ties with Angie. It wouldn't be a stretch but the shows were already becoming a mess by 1996/1997 so it's probably for the best. I do think it could have benefitted the show more but there's not much interesting The City, IMO. Watching the first week's episodes on YouTube and it's kind of a snooze.
  13. Definitely. And depending where we are on testing, it's not out of the realm everyone gets a test before going into the building. Who knows where we will be in the next few months with this? B&B relies a lot on making out and sex so it'll be interesting to see how they pull it off. I think they need to come up with some kind of gameplan (not saying they aren't but we haven't heard anything at all). Not sure why they can't wear masks behind the camera and social distance in a few months from now. They can do their own makeup and hair (many do) and wardrobe. Space people out on camera. It could be awkward at first but they have to figure out something.
  14. THIS And personally I can't see LW and KZ meshing well as people. They seem very different yet also kind of similar in many ways (another example, like how Chappell and Zimmer are a lot alike in terms of their personality and didn't get along). But time changes things. I think Watros appreciated Zimmer but Zimmer was jealous. She was 'the star' (no doubt Paul Rauch feeding her ego) and Watros was getting a lot of the spotlight and Reva was written either nasty or stupid. I can see it.
  15. Not really. I saw Laura nodding in agreement. I doubt Laura enjoyed Kim's pushy personality though.
  16. I really wish I had saved my magazines.
  17. Same. They COULD be kind of clever about it, should they so choose. But it could likely only last so long. They kinda have to come up with something. Social distancing seems possible. I'd rather they not address the situation itself on the soaps though, personally, but they may have to. Not sure. DAYS doesn't need to worry about it, LOL.
  18. I never knew that about OLTL/Kevin. That sucks. Would have loved it. Daytime has burned several good actors/actresses.
  19. I agree with all of this, but I also felt they basically swapped Andy out for Jake McKinnon and Tom Eplin in terms of story. Andy should have been paired with Molly. He was gone in 2000, so they overlapped a bit but still ... Hogan likely had no use for him. DeFreitas and later Holroyd being dumped always pissed me off.
  20. Not a bad idea. Hopefully they can pull it off. Maybe easier for a half hour show. I can see B&B doing similar things. But who knows?
  21. I love hearing anything I can about this show. Like James, it's always fascinated me and I've wanted to watch the full run. I watch whatever I can on YouTube. It's been nice to have the Loving murders. As well as the first week of The City to watch. I was always bummed SoapNet never aired it.
  22. Yep. This. MADD was the problem. Not that Goutman didn't suck ass of course ... like soapsuds said, it was MADD who dumped him. But considering Andy never returned under Goutman it does open the question up ... Still not sure why they dumped Scott Holroyd for awful one note Roger Howarth.
