Hmm..interesting idea about Roger/Marlena/Roman. I always heard the John/Marlena/Roman affair was planned with or without Isabella. It would make sense to maybe have Roger go with Marlena to the spin off if it got picked up. I didn't think her and Roger had much chemistry, but there were times Marlena seemed really into him. Not exactly leading him on, but also very, very interested in his treatment and success. Like moreso than normal dr/patient. I did think Kim's DID stuff was good, but I did not enjoy Phillip. I believe LH wanted out. Or it was mutual. She was a get at the time, but was oddly utilized. She never even really had scenes with Roman anyway. It could have been a change in writing as well, but I don't think LH was very torn up about it. She was back at GH pretty soon after.

I actually liked Brian as comic relief. He was pretty funny with RoJohn and the Salem PD. Everyone else was awful. Tanner was the beginning of Michael Easton being given leading roles for no reason.

They dated and the show was trying to make them the next big thing and add Lucky into the triangle. It flopped and so did Sarah.

I would say Isabella's death got everything rolling, IMO. It caused the cast we actually liked to start interacting again because that was lacking in 1992. I felt like Julie was hanging out with Molly instead of people she should. Stella throwing Marlena is probably my fave story of 1992 though. They let DH look rough in that Pit lol. I watched full episodes of 1992 fairly recently on you tube. The Jack/Jen/Hawk stuff is just awful. Hard to watch. And MA's Jack was at his slap-stick worst. I honestly switched half way through the year to couple specific storylines because it was too hard to get through the whole episodes back then. Still better than today, but a BAD year.

Yes. Danielle came to town recognizing John's eyes from a newspaper or tv or something. At this point the cannon was he did have plastic surgery and his face was not the same. She was said to be he wife and he was the jewel thief Romulus. Long, boring story short- Danielle was actually the jewel thief, they weren't married, they were in love until he found out she was a thief, and John let her get away from the cops. No one has spoken of her again. The show had no clue what to do with Roman or Roman/Marlena as a couple. They at least gave John/Isabella (bad) stories. I agree the show did the Tale of 2 Romans and was like what now with all characters involved.

I meant to come in here and post that about Lani. It was so odd to me she was so angry at Paulina and we actually got a reason. It may have helped if Lani wasn't so happy to see her in the beginning and so cool with her being with her dad, but we got a reason. And SS did a good job with those scenes.

Did he ever care that much lol? John in the 90's was such a man whore, but one who just couldn't have Marlena so had to sleep with everyone else lol. No, he was overall pretty loyal but they threw a lot of women at him including that awful women Danielle that played his fake wife/jewelry thief.

Oh I remember Rebecca too. She was so aggressive about getting John. Going around asking Marlena inappropriate questions about how to land him lol! Never taking no for an answer. She just sorta disappeared. But at the end of the day we do know that John Black and his mullet are irresistible to women🤣

Eva? Out of all people Eva? Everyone else has pretty iconic moments good or bad. Eva was zzzzzzzzz... all the way through.

Knowing Ron though, they will realize they are soulmates within 2 episodes and leave together engaged or something🤣

I hope they play it like Theo acting like a mature adult and realizing it's over and just wanting Ciara to be happy. There was no development of this current Theo/Ciara stuff, so I am okay with them just letting him go. Although it would make sense for Theo to fight for her or, you know, at least keep Theo on the show. I assume Claire is going with him as a friend not anything more. Paul was paralyzed and I'd like to think he was just over Sonny/Will not realizing he was always the better choice. He met a new guy like 3 seconds later, so hopefully he knows his worth now.

Finally. I've been waiting for Jack to wake up about Gwen, but you would think he would have had that reaction over the Abby stuff instead. Is Theo still autistic on the show? I haven't heard it mentioned in ages. Much like Phillip's missing leg it does not seem to be in Days cannon anymore. Although that would be very interesting showing him deal with it.

Fair. They are annoying, but I felt they were less smug than usual so that's a win. The memory thing was anti-climatic. Ciara should have left and Ben could have cried his single tear and give up on life and then she runs back in and says she remembers everything...and END, but it's Ron. The Chinese food thing is obnoxious, but I have been know to eat Chinese food for breakfast on occasion so I felt that. It just looks like this arc is ending soon, so I am grateful.

Obviously they are setting this up for Lani to actually be Paulina's daughter making Abe not her father. At least that's what it looks like to me. Did they do a DNA for Abe/Lani? Not like that matters on Days....but still.

Why is Lani so mad at Paulina? Did I miss something? That's an honest question. Lani is boring so I may have tuned out on something. But isn't all Paulina guilty of is lying about the Pricetown plans that she cancelled? Lani forgave Kristen for murders, attempted murders, kidnappings, etc and was her bff but Paulina's actions are too much for her? It honestly seems like Paulina is just trying to be helpful even if it is throwing money around. Well, at least it looks like the Cin stuff in concluding. They weren't that annoying today.

It would actually be very fitting as a callback to when Sonny slept with Carly and Jason 'lost' the Michael/Carly family he made or stole from AJ. But I know Jason will be like it's all yours take it back please the minute Sonny comes back because that's just the way the weird relationship has always worked. I am not really wanting a Carly/Jason romance, but that's probably where the show should go for the most emotional impact and fallout because why go there at all if you aren't going to go all the way?

They were always going at it even if it was just fantasies. Jen/Peter and Carrie/Austin were really hot too. Lol. Well that's a way to make money I guess. It was actually Brash and Cwikly. The Gemini twins first appeared in July 2002 and Langan was out early in the year. Langan did a lot crappy Jarlena and Bope stuff with Brady and Zack/JT. He was one of the main pusherers of the John/Hope supercouple idea lol. That was his second favorite idea after the Saved by the Belle stuff. The DH's weren't always as over the top swoony with each other. That's is definitely something that started in the mid-90's when John started being portrayed as the ultimate hero/stud and Marlena would fall all over him, but neither could figure out they loved each other. Because everyone in JER's universe was unable to process normal social cues or have a normal conversation that would clear up minor misunderstandings. I don't remember Drake being that racy in scenes with Isabella or Diana, but I remember it with Kristen. That scene wasn't so bad but there was a lot of ED is lingerie in the beginning. And his love scenes with Hope were pretty racy too. I miss love scenes. I miss John/Marlena or Bo/Hope just having a romantic night just because. Why did Will get kidnapped? Did she just think Sami was a crappy mother? And I love everyone had to meet up in Paris.

The Salem High Stuff was bad because the main stars of the show were stuck endlessly supporting their kids and doing nothing of there own. It took Shawn and Belle like two years to kiss. There is slow burn and there is me completely losing interest. I love that scene. Don't worry Marlena! I am sure Sami won't bring this up for the next 30 years. She will get over it lol. I forgot how sexual early John/Kristen were. John sure makes a quick jump from Isabella to Marlena to Kristen to Paul's mom who all got pregnant. That's 4 babies in 5 years. Thank you. Winter Heat does actually sound better than One Stormy Night, but I don't remember them that way. Night Sins is the only one I have re-watched fairly recently. I like Night Sins because it's a party to and you are so suspenseful about who is going to catch John/Marlena. I did not think it would be Sami.

Yeah, but by the time CC was ending on GL something about her persona was very unlikable. I think had she played her cards right she could have had a long, successful career at Days probably to this day. Or maybe Kristian Alfonso and Deidre Hall would have murdered her in her sleep. 🤣🤷‍♀️ Her career was fine and she's still with MS so I am sure she is happy with her choices, but they still seemed mismanaged somehow. I was never a big fan of CC/Carly show so I don't really care, but the character went out tied to Daniel Jonas and Melanie. Thanks! I remember the loony bin stuff and I remember it being scary. Vivian being bald creeped me out. JER started in late 1992 with Sheri Anderson, so this was definitely him. I just never remember that episode as fondly as the other two. Maybe because the other stuff is so boring. I am not sure if Jane/Deidre are still close. They might still be, but they had been friends since their pre-Soap Days on Electra Woman. Lol this ad!!! I think CC played Maggie the juggling almost nun. I don't think she took vows officially. Anyhow, she left town to join juggling school for real. I can only imagine what a letdown that was for CC and OLTL after her super popular run as Carly. Days had 3 primetime specials One Stormy Night, Night Sins, and Winter Heat. The first two were better with Nights Sins being the obvious #1 because I think Winter Heat mostly focused on Bo/Billie and Carrie/Austin and nothing really happened that I can recall. Maybe something with Laura/Vivian in the sanitarium? I am surprised so many have not seen Never Say Never: The Deidre Hall Story because it used to replay on Lifetime all the time about 15-20 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if still does. There has been some rumors about Deidre Hall/Jane Elliot's friendship over the years for sure. They used to talk a lot it more. I am not sure if they are still besties. That beings said, I don't think Never Say Never: The Deidre Hall Story was trying to give out lesbian undertones with the Deidre/Shane relationship, but if I watch it again I will let you know.🤣 From what it looks like you can still get it on Amazon, Youtube, and Itunes. It looks like you do have to pay for it.

I am assuming if you are watching the Dee Hall bio pic you are not into facts at all because....ummm..Daniel Hugh Kelley does not resemble her husband at the time even a tiny bit. I guess Drake just didn't get an invite to be in the movie. But Suzanne Rogers did lol. I don't even know. Was Jane Elliot contractually bound to something because the real people in her movie are kind of off how she depicts her relationships. Her life does actually fascinate me, but I don't think I learned anything from that movie.

It's highly problematic he was hired in the first place. It's more of a disgrace that he was hired on GH after his known problems on Days. But who knows? He was married to Parrish for 20 years maybe he changed his ways? I think he does wood working or something now... He was a charismatic screen presence.
