@j swift A few years ago I used to think the entire show was lit in blue. Every set and scene had a blue tinge to it. Then it went dusky or orange like you said. I miss the late 90's when there was that glaze-y look. When Deidre Hall's close ups were always a little blurry so you couldn't see a wrinkle lol.

Well, Jordan sticks out slightly less than old lady Molly, but that's the faintest of praise here. Listen, I think TH is miscast and Jordan is a very dull, useless character. I am not trying to change your mind about her. I just don't see what you are seeing. I think Portia is a much better character with a much better actress and the show just isn't utilizing her right. BK/Portia have potential and I think Jordan is a dead end. I would assume by your username that you have good taste in GH characters, so we will have to agree to disagree on this one.

TH as Jordan has about as much energy in her scenes as Sasha does in her current drugged out state. She's not believable as the deputy Mayor, Commissioner, a police officer, TJ's mom, or as a viable obstacle for boring Curtis/Portia. She was a very good model on Project Runway, so maybe TH should go back to that. To be fair, I have been hit with the double gut punch of Gladys yesterday and Violet today, so GH is not on my good side.

The Madonna stuff was trash. Dmitri just saying he flew Leo out as a surprise for Gwen probably would have been more believable than Gwen believing Leo now has the money to fly to Iceland, go see a rare Madonna show, stay in the same hotel as them all without telling her, etc., etc., etc. It is actually Madonna's birthday, so they got that right. Gwen did look like she was wise to their game at the end though. The Victor stuff was good. John being there was nice, although odd as I don't think he's had a scene with Maggie or Victor in years. I don't really know who else you would use though. The Kristen/Rachel scenes were weird in the fact that Chad's kids were upstairs by themselves? No boba for them?

Total agree about Molly. I can acknowledge she's improving, but she's always going to be too old for the part and it is noticeable. Is Ella Lentini Betty? Because agree if so. I don't care if anyone has fillers or plastic surgery. I just think CW looks very unnatural with whatever she's done. For some reason her cheeks give the appearance that it's almost hard for her to see like she's in a perpetual squinting state. I know she's always done that with her eyes when she's acting even on GL, but it looks weird now.

I know Jen mentioned her religion in interviews since GH, but it also seems like it something she's progressively ramped up over time. While I am sure she's a devout Christian I also think she's pandering to a certain fanbase that started with her Hallmark movies. I don't think she has any particular qualms about taking roles to pay the bills, but also wants those Great American Family checks to keep rolling in. She's found her niche and wants to keep her brand going.

Jen Lilley has always been very vocal about her Christianity and beliefs. I have always been a fan of her soap work, so I was pretty disappointed when I found some of her quotes. She's also one of the faces of that Great American Family channel so this tweet seems on brand. God told her Theresea was a good character! It would be the only good thing to come out of this story and it solves multiple problems. Leo will be dead, Gwen will go to jail, and Dmitri will be free.

They are obviously dumbing Gwen down, but I genuinely feel bad for her. Leo/Dmitri are mocking Gwen's obliviousness to the situation just like Leo mocked Nancy's looks. Gwen is a bad character and deserves comeuppance just not from Leo. She is the only person that has stood by him and he is throwing that relationship away for good sex-not even love. Plus, he is jeopardizing his livelihood and job for this as well. This story is offensive to women, offensive to gay people, and basically just offensive to humans lol. I hope Gwen goes psycho and kills Leo when she finds out.

It really is complete with Leo making fun of the wronged party like he did with Nancy as well. And Gwen is supposed to be his best friend. It's gross. It's a shame because Dmitri has potential, but he really can't go a day without sexing up LEO? C'mon. At least with Craig you could believe he was naive and a little stupid since it was his first same sex relationship, but there really is no world where a man like Dmitri would be obsessed with a man like Leo. I can't even fathom any person liking Leo-male or female. He has like 0 redeemable qualities.

Leo and Dmitri are really awful people. The whole situation is just disgusting and I didn't realize I could hate Leo more than I already did. The Talia/Johnny/Chanel story was interesting. The Abe stuff was just silly. I do think he is capable of being mayor again eventually, but why on earth did he go into this situation completely blind without knowing any current issues or people that work with him? Also, since the only goal is to get Chanel's bakery open wouldn't it have been easier to just talk to the acting mayor about that instead? Those reporters were especially intense with their questions considering it was a press conference with 4 people attending in the middle of the Town Square. Did anyone else laugh when Marlena ran to Steve/Kayla's because she saw the reports about Abe's press conference on social media? Who knew Marlena was so on top of her socials?

GH: 30 Years of Sonny Corinthos
I still assume Morgan's death is not permanent. I think the show will bring him back eventually. Honestly, we don't even need Morgan to tell multi-generational stories for Sonny. Find a new Michael and actually use Dante. We are getting a lot more of Kristina and I think that's a good start. Kristina was woefully underused and in a lot of ways she has similar traits to Morgan (outside the bipolar disorder). I agree about Sonny still being a romantic lead. Not even a romantic lead, but a man in his late 50's trying to find his one true love. Sonny/Carly as a happy family worked fine those last few years like others have said. I don't see a point in breaking up Carly/Sonny if he's not going back to Brenda. We all basically know he's ending back to Carly so there is nothing to invest in.

GH: 30 Years of Sonny Corinthos
I obviously will agree with Sonny's first run being pretty much perfect (outside the Karen stuff). I have said ad nauseum on here that Sonny's character should have stayed gone after he left Brenda at the altar. His character arc was complete. Not every character needs to last forever. I will say that early SJB's Carly/Sonny was great. The show really had something there and I think Sonny was still decent through Brenda's first return. Sonny had a lot going on back then, but if there was a way to write him off with Brenda I would have done it then. I can't think of a Sonny story I have liked since then. I guess the Dante storyline and Mike's illness had moments, but also some critical flaws. And obviously I believe Sonny belongs with Brenda lol. The only romance I liked besides Carly/Brenda was his romance with MW's Kate.

I appreciate that Gabi/CB is one of the only actresses that realize when the episodes are airing and dresses appropriately for summer (even if the dress wasn't the best). It's clear the show has no idea where to go with Stefan/Gabi now. Li has a stronger trajectory than those two and that's surprising. I like Melinda and Li as well and I had some reservations about it in the beginning. They are cute together. It's strange to me that both Brady/Shawn are much more closely related to Victor than most people at the party. They were both on, but I am not sure why they weren't at the party or couldn't have had those same conversations at the party. I know they are both estranged from Victor, but so is Xander and having Brady/Shawn/Belle/Chloe at the homecoming would have made it feel more important. Days seems to drop the ball on the family/community feel for big events and I don't think it's a budget issue.

That's very valid. I don't exactly disagree with you either. I just can understand why the show did it the way that they did. We don't actually know if they don't find a body (I haven't read spoilers, so I could be wrong). There could be closure. At this point I would say I am neutral on it until I see the entire thing play out.

Rex needs to find some self-respect and stop trying to get back with Sarah. Find a woman that's not currently pregnant and in love with another man. Belle was a horrible friend today, but Chloe held her own. People should bring up Xander shot Marlena and EJ shot John much more often than they do though. The Stephanie/Chad stuff was a snooze. As far as killing off Victor, it's a shame Jennifer and/or the family were against this, but I do see where the show is coming from. With larger than life characters like Stefano and Victor I can see why the show wouldn't want to say they passed quietly in their sleep of natural causes. It wouldn't fit the omnipotence of the Victor character even though it was easy to see JA's declining health. I honestly do see both sides of this argument.

It just invalidates most of the argument when Jada's all my rule breaking is less bad than Shawn's. Rafe should have been fired, Jada should have been suspended at least, and Shawn should be on desk duty. I feel bad for all the background extra detectives with fake mustaches that probably do their jobs well without breaking rules. They are the victims here. 😂

Lol! Today I was thinking about how 4 people even fit in the hallway between the apartments. Every time Alex/Chad/Stephanie are in that hallway they are practically on top of each other. It's such a narrow space between the two apartments. Alex can probably hear everything going on next door.

I don't even consider John that smart, but Brady is an absolute idiot. Maybe it's John's lowkey way of getting his adult son to move out of his parents house at 50. So Jada has very valid points. Unfortunately, the whole thing is undercut by the fact she knew dating Rafe was against the rules and made a conscious decision to break those rules. It doesn't make Shawn's actions right, but it's not like she's entirely blameless in all this. The Stephanie/Chad/Alex stuff is pretty boring to me. I can't get into at all.
