  1. I think I'll be really bummed if the writing for Nina changes. It took me an entire decade to tolerate her. It would be a real shame if they move her back into Sonny's orbit.
  2. It's giving me the vibe he left a Gucci wallet with a wad full of cash on his front seat lol. Oh well, I am sure it will all work out for Zach Tinker.
  3. To be fair, mostly every day GH ends I say "so that's it?" It's definitely not exclusive to Gregory. I am might have a cold, bitter heart that knows no emotion, but I thought so he's dead. I hope Violet cries a lot off screen and needs to immediately go find her mother for comfort.
  4. Who leaves their wallet in their car overnight? I also don't know who leaves thousands of dollars of possessions in their car overnight either. Unless it's his sound system, but it's a mini cooper so how cool can it be? I mean, sucks for Zach and I don't blame him. It just seems like he was really casual about leaving his expensive items in an easy to break into car out in the open.
  5. You aren't wrong. I just left today's episode with a feeling of "that's it?" but it could just be because I don't care about Gregory at all lol.
  6. I certainly don't want to see all that. I don't even want this story to drag out longer than necessary. I just think his decline could have been played out better than this. I guess this is the best way for Gregory to go out, with some dignity, but it seems anti-climatic.
  7. I think Easton is capable of solid work and I don't actually hate him. I hate the fact he was forced on me from OLTL and then had several different characters on GH. He's definitely grown leaps and bounds since his time on Days lol. I also agree about Gregory's death. This may sound morbid and I really have 0 medical knowledge, but he seemed okay and then just died. I understand ALS is tricky, and they drew out Mike's story for a very long time and it was depressing, but i think there might have been more to squeeze out of this story?* *Not that I care Mr. Finn is gone. It just seems like a weird letdown for all the build up.
  8. I thought it was subtly sexy as well. BH/SBu do work well together and I am not much of a Jason/Liz fan. Steve did really seem to enjoy his brief pairing with KT too. I can understand that after dealing with monotone KM for a decade plus.
  9. Yup. I can totally get into him when he's acting and I really, really liked his Bo. But then I am like PR isn't a creep so let's move on lol. But honestly RKK was one of the best recasts of all time especially in a huge part like Bo Brady that already had an iconic previous actor.
  10. Yeah. I don't think RKK is a bad actor at all and probably could have had a really solid soap career if he wasn't everything he is or was. I liked his Bo and his take on Stavros. I don't know Ali Sweeney or her parents, but I weirdly respect them so hard for taking her off Days to protect her.
  11. Grooming and dating and underage co-star is a different issue to me than alcohol or attitude problems, but Idk how RKK even got into this thread. I do think he was a good Bo. Just not a good man. Yes and Yes. Again I feel like it's two different problems. Addiction and being an actual creepy pervert.
  12. He threw a chair at Sandra Ferguson on AW. After all these years and ALL the stories. It's a wonder people dislike RKK lol. He was married to the actress that played Jamie for at least 15 years so perhaps he's changed. There are a lot of things I side eye KA about, but the RKK hate is not one of them.
  13. No worries. No meltdowns or panic attacks here and I do think @Liberty City had valid points. It's just suggesting that other posters can't comprehend simple nuances and other points of view that disagree with yours seems a bit condescending, but if that wasn't your intention I can believe that and move on.
  14. I'll be honest, @Maxim your comments are pretty disparaging towards people that disagree with your "take". We don't need to read a simple paragraph multiple times to understand. Anyhow, this talk about Chase/Brook Lynn is 1000 times more exciting then the actual couple is lol.
  15. I sympathize with the fact that AS may be slightly insecure with her body post-pregnancy, but I said the same thing about KS. No one cares if you are stick thin-dress like a fashionable person in your age range. Both these characters are supposed to be fashionable! Brook Lynn has endless money and is successful. She can afford something other than an oversized blazer to wear. When you add that in with her completely sexless take on the role it becomes a real snooze. Chase and Brook Lynn aren't fun! This should be the best time of their life and it's not showing on screen. I get AS is not 25 anymore and her priorities change, but leave the role then. Touché
  16. Steve has been doing love scenes on Days and has been called out about a million times in these threads as well. No one is specifically picking on AS/JS. Most equate it to the same thing as Steve's stance although I don't know if he's currently against love scenes at this point. Brook Lynn/Chase don't have to be going at it 24/7, but, you know, should probably consummate the marriage on their wedding night at the very least. THANK YOU
  17. Yeah, there really isn't a "right" answer on how to solve this situation. I wouldn't outright fire either of them because their beliefs aren't wrong or awful. I think in less than a year Brook will get pregnant and the show will end up "running out of story" for both characters and let them live happily ever after off screen for awhile.
  18. I get your point. It does makes sense and it is a slippery slope with all of this. I think I'd have more sympathy if AS was newer to the business or didn't know how soaps worked. She does and chooses to openly speak out about how she basically dictates the character of Brook Lynn. To me it's still crossing the line of an actor having too much say in a character vs. a modesty issue. I misspoke. The job perhaps fits HER needs at this point, but not the shows. I think the show could do a lot better with casting Brook Lynn, but GH has many more pressing problems at this point.
  19. I'll be honest, I think it should be. No one should be forced to do anything, but at some point the job might just not fit your needs anymore. Many soap stars have been fired for less. I could see if it was really objectionable content, but two married fictional people faking a fictional love scene for a few minutes does not cross that line for me. But at least there would be a free role for GT to take if AS gets the boot! 😂
  20. Yup. Robin/Jason didn't have love scenes for years because of obvious reasons. They weren't overtly hot like, say, Sonny/Brenda, but they had passion and love and tenderness that was visible and you believed their love. It's not impossible to do. JS/AS just seem overtly against even showing that undercurrent. Perhaps it's out of respect for their partners. I am truly not judging anyone for their beliefs, but at some point the line has to be drawn. This just isn't the job/pairing/lifestyle for you if that's how you want to portray yourself on camera.
  21. I can see that. She was pretty obnoxious. I just thought she was perfect for Sonny's bratty daughter. I do think Mansi is great though and absolutely love what she is doing with the role even if I didn't like yesterday's take in particular. I think it's more AS than JS. JS was fine doing love scenes with Willow. I think Josh is just respecting his co stars choice and beliefs. Which is nice, I suppose.
  22. I loved LA's Kristina from the start. I loved the implied slow burn with her and Ethan as a couple, I thought she did great with the Kiefer story, and I just thought she had good chemistry interacting with her family. Morgan as a recast felt like a slap in the face to LA. LA is the youngest looking adult woman in the world. I get that. It was a clear choice to go sexy and mature with LM. Saddling Kristina with Konnie's rape baby Trey was a really bad choice, but I do think LM's Kristina and Trey were given a bit of a raw deal and both had more potential than they were allowed to show. The coupling is such a bore. Chase/Brook Lynn seem more like good buddies than in love. They've never had a ton of chemistry, but in the very beginning they had a bit of a spark. The problem isn't actually the love scenes. Plenty of couples can smolder without any love scenes on screen. They don't. There isn't even any implied sexiness or heat in this pairing.
  23. I am fine with erasing the Mob Princess era too I guess. I just am of the mind that Kristina is smarter than all this although I know some disagree with that. I don't remember LM being as bad as everyone makes her out to be now, but I didn't like her much. I do have a soft spot for LA though.
  24. Yeah, I definitely see it as a bit naive and overdramatic. Kristina leaned in to being a mob princess with the recast between LA's stints. She made a reality show about it lol. I could see Kristina being disappointed and feeling stupid for defending Sonny, but not entirely hysterical and shell-shocked like she was. It's not an awful story nor do I hate the idea, it's just hard to wrap my head around such a retcon. It makes Kristina look a little dumb.
  25. I think LA's Kristina would have played it much differently. More resigned and nuanced as she knows the characters history better. That's not a knock at Mansi. I think she's doing wonderful and probably played the scene as written. I just got the sense that KM really thought Kristina had no idea what her father does and this is the first time she's ever seen him do anything like that. The hysterics were extreme for a 30 year old woman who's known her father was a mobster basically her entire life lol.
