Agreed. Even if JS is unavailable again I think they should recast Sloan to cause more chaos (they can use Tate's fiancée). Sloan's ending was pretty anti-climatic today. What's weird is that Nicole called Rafe (and appeared to actually speak with him?) and he just continued on with his conversation with Melinda.

I swear someone on here said Michael Easton was just not available or out of town when these shots were taken so it means nothing. You know I'd be thrilled with ME out, but I thought it just meant he wasn't there lol. I also know zero about these cast/promo shots, so I could be wrong.

The way the show was paced yesterday (and for the last few months) I can totally understand why you thought that was the ending lol. I did too and was about to turn off the tv and there was a whole other final segment.🤷‍♀️

I'll give Sloan a pass on referring to Sami as Eric's twin because she's never met her. That's the only context Sloan has of her. Once Sloan meets Sami she won't forget her lol.

Is Olive Garden trashy? Lol. It's not cheap. I still love their salad and breadsticks. Anyhow, I like Drew going into politics. I just think it helps give Drew an identity entirely different from Jason.

Most people here have a much better knowledge of how it works behind the scenes, but does NLG's guarantee's have something to do with Alexis covering so much ground in one day? Is it more budget friendly to put all of her scenes in one day as opposed to three? Obviously I assume the answer is yes, so maybe that's why some characters travel all over town in one day instead of spreading it out.

I think BD is generally used for comedic value these days which is a disservice to him as he's good in multiple roles. It's a win/win for the show because he's a Horton and Kate needs one child on canvas. I don't really see anyone to pair him with, but he's just the type of character that has relationships with so many people on the show.

It's strange how most of us can see where the cliffhangers could and should be in each episode and GH ignores that. Is that a FV thing? Who decides the scene order? The director?

Every time I warm up to EOB's Theresa and her stupid wig she does something ridiculous like turning down a good job because she's in a relationship with a rich guy lol. I would feel worse about Alex playing her if she wasn't scamming him as well. The EJ/Kristen scenes were strange. Kristen's audacity at Sloan working alone on the baby switch felt weird. She remembers she hired a double to give birth to EJ and fool John, no? I know she had Stefano's help, but Sloan's whole plot was MUCH less complicated. At least she mentioned the whole Rachel situation. Again, I was a huge Lucas fan in his 90's/2000's heyday, but every time BD shows up I just love Lucas. I know the show currently writes him a bit dopier than he should be, but BD deserves a contract. He really works well with everybody.

Agree about Ava. I feel like Ava has been pretty stagnant as a character since she became redeemed. I also agree about Easton/NLG. I never really noticed it until yesterday, but they work quite well together. I think the Tin Man Origami story is one of the worst stories Sonny and Brenda were ever involved in, but I will say it was more interesting than any story currently on this show lol.

Jada said Roman put the gluten free buns on the menu which makes it more weird that Steve didn't notice Jada asked for a gluten free bun when ordering. Listen, Days makes no sense, but my sister orders a bunch of gluten free buns, bread, pasta, soups all the time. If you actually have the allergy and aren't being annoying no gluten can even touch anything that has gluten and it's really hard to monitor.

I know BD isn't a classic leading man looks wise or anything, but he's really solid at playing almost anything. He's quite good at comedic work and I think Steve excels at working as a straight man to funny antics as Jason and as Harris.

Those JER years were a mess (he wrote John/Kate I believe). I could see why Kate and John would be attracted to one another, so it did make sense to me especially coming off losing their 'true' loves. It was less forced than John/Hope and I think it would have had more of a chance if the John/Marlena fangirls weren't so loudly, openly, and rudely against it.

Honestly, Willow isn't half bad when she's away from Michael and her kids. She absolutely can leave anytime, but KMM can be mildly charming sometimes.

I am honestly surprised both Alexis and Kristina lasted this long. I know Guza wanted Kristina to never be born. I guess it comes down to NLG's strong fanbase.

It's just.....WHY? The rest of the show was pretty good at the time and then we had Alexis in drag. And Alice having a crush on her. Wacky times ensue. Just to prop the weird Ned/Skye pairing happening for whatever reason.

No amount of chemistry could have saved that Dobson story. Endless shrimp really did Red Lobster in. Much like endless cast members are doing GH in lol.

One of my sister's has Celiac's Disease and gluten free bread is awful IMO. I don't know how people do it. Anyhow, the bun probably looked different than Steve's, but you would think he would have heard Jada order a gluten-free bun instead of asking about it later lol.

I like Harris so much more than Jason. And I do like the Ava/Lucas/Harris adventure. Greg Vaughn looks so red in all his scenes. What is up with Days lighting? Does SN not like lettuce? He took the lettuce off of his burger today lol. I don't know why I noticed that, but I did.

I obviously agree lol. I should have worded it better. John/Kate weren't half bad even if they had some crappy writing.

It was super rushed and ultimately pretty pointless. No one ever brings up John/Kate were engaged. I chalk some of the rush up to John's addiction issues although the entire quad of Roman/Marlena/Kate/John was awful. John/Kate were better than Roman/Marlena though.

For some reason John/Kate made sense to me in the moment. Obviously it was convenient since both Roman and Marlena "died", but it worked well with John's drug addiction and the Sami/Lucas and Belle/Phillip antics at the time. Lauren and Drake had some chemistry as well. I know the entire pairing was extremely unpopular with the John/Marlena fans though.

Well, to be fair, there is zero callback to Sunset Beach because of this 😂 I think it's very hard to put a handful of scenes with two actors that have no actual character history and make it spark. They have personal history to build on, but very little else.
