True. It's weird because in the Riche era GH excelled at bringing in younger characters to mix with "older" ones. And then Guza/JFP just killed half of them off 😂

GH and Days are very guilty of this. There isn't a dynamic second generation. There is Sonny, Carly, Jason, et all. And Michael to lead when that group retires? That sounds awful. Mansi could probably lead the next generation, but I am mostly at a loss about everyone else. Willow? Brook Lynn? Chase? 😂

These quotes to these rumors have been out there for awhile. DH/CC could have gotten along fine. Although DH saying CC was gone not long after she came back isn't really accurate. They worked together for two years and Carly was absolutely front burner the entire time. Carly and Marlena didn't share a ton of scenes together, but two years seems like enough time to get to know someone lol. I am not discounting CC's word on why she left Days. I believe her when she said she was in a bad mental space. I have, however, read several other blurbs about her leaving being due to a variety of other issues. MS getting canned, money, issues with JER, etc. I am sure neither one care now, but I am inclined to think they really just didn't like each other and there were issues.

Yup. It's always been about the name before the character. It's baffling he doesn't learn from his own mistakes. Yuck. Well, it would have to be Natalia's fault or issue for it to be a problem to the GH team. It's obviously Ava's fault Natalia is awful lol.

Yes. Without Blaze there is also no reason for her to be in town. Why would she stick around when her daughter isn't there? Flirting with Sonny is not a reason lol. I haven't read spoilers in a minute, but I actually don't think this is the last we see of Blaze.

It's ridiculous. It's house cleaning time. And if someone, anyone, thinks that Sonny on his meds would hook up with the woman who treated his daughter like this? I don't even think the Sonny that exists now and is that awful would do that.

It would have been better for the show to make Tate a few years older like you said (not in a super creepy way lol) ala Brady and the Last Blast Crew. JMM was the first person cast so I can understand why they didn't. JMM always sounded clear he was always focusing on school so it seems like it might have been initially cast as short term? The whole Theresa/Tate/Brady story is just weird. It's seems like there were multiple changes mid way.

I have no use for Blaze or Natalia. I am just shocked in the year 2024 someone greenlit the idea to drop the LGBTQ daughter and keep the bigoted awful mom. Does no one vet these stories? And it's also not 1996 Sonny. It's not going to make Natalia more likeable to be with Sonny. It will make her even more dislikeable.

Frank & Co. probably don't see past the fact that it's Eva La Rue and Mo Bernard together. How could it go wrong? Natalia's a bigot and awful, but that was just Ava's fault. The choices are astounding. If you wanted an ELR/MB pairing maybe just make the character likeable in the first place.

I hate this version of Jagger, but that still doesn't make me think he is ignoring his son. He could be, but it's a little rich coming from Mother of the Year, Carly.

Not to defend one of my least favorite characters, but Jagger said Stone was an adult and living on his own. From that one conversation it seemed like Stone was doing well and probably didn't need Jagger to be constantly involved. It was one of his first episodes and I think he was talking to Olivia in regards to Leo. A Violet and Tracy tea party is something out of my worst nightmares. Poor Jane Elliot.

Tate just continues to be the most laid back teenager on the planet. So many things are going on around him and he's just hanging out with Holly. JMM played Tate with more feelings? More high strung? I also still find Holly pretty unlikeable still. She's was okay today. I just find her very selfish. I surprisingly find Fiona very interesting. She's (so far) a character I actually want to know more about. Although I can't believe sober Maggie didn't smell the champagne in Fiona's glass when Fiona actually handed it to her to hold. My mother doesn't drink and I swear she can smell alcohol on anyone from 100 yards away lol. I am not sure how I feel about Nu"Abby". I thought it was incredibly pushy the way Chad took her to the mansion and tried to force her to remember. Just buy the girl a hamburger at the Pub and let her breathe for a few minutes!

I can't say I am very familiar with her work outside GH and Days. Genie needs to write a book or something. It must be very frustrating to be so successful so young and never really be able to recapture it or move on from your most famous role.

Wow. Fair. The life sized stuffed bear episodes were worse than yesterday's episode.

Wasn't she practically forced to return as Laura by ABC? I could see that affecting the way she felt about the character. I could also just see Genie having a different take on how she thought Laura would act all these years later. My perspective was that Laura just grew up and was just tired of being on the run. I didn't see it as losing spark or spunk, but I see how others can. I think it's probably a combination of both. Again, I would have to re-watch.

Sorry! It's so hilarious though! I think because I love Claire's work so much I forget there were a few clunker stories and A LOT of Ricky Martin singing. I don't mind a mention, I suppose. It's just a cheap mention as you said. I guess Miguel and Jagger would have something in common if he ever came to town. Two obscure characters from the 90's that really, really hate Sonny.

UGH...you can check the Days thread for Ron's antics I actually think if Wendy Riche asked Ricky to do a cameo he would have-even at near peak fame. If I recall, she was very accommodating to him and let him out of his contract early so he could star on Les Mis or something on Broadway. But that ship sailed years ago lol.

After the entire Days episode today being a bunch of the same type of humor I had reached my limit. I am probably just traumatized from that. I believe it's been mentioned more than once Miguel is super famous. I think at some point Lois was still even his manager. Sometimes just because you can easily google history of the show doesn't make it a right choice. Lol! There were times in the past I legitimately thought the show should reach out to do a Nurse's Ball cameo or something. I am not a complete hater.
