Lol! I got the reference. But at the time someone had to actually tell me this actor was the same two characters. He was quite the "OVER" actor on GH and pretty non-descript on Days.

Multiple members of her family!! Very recently Eric. Not to defend Ben because I don't, but at least he had a very specific, crazy diagnosis that perhaps Marlena was the best shrink for. Leo just wants a regular old psychiatrist. He could get anyone.

I can't even deal with Marlena having to prop Leo. I did chuckle a bit when she side eyed Leo when he said he was tall though. It's weird Leo was talking about his mother as if Marlena doesn't know exactly who Diana is and was also almost murdered by her. The new Dr. is cute. They better work on the Aaron casting though if they are building a whole family off of him lol. I would have been fine with his name being Mark Greene if Johnny didn't wink wink mention it out loud.

I'll be honest and say I can't recall a lot about Hayden's exit, but I recall she was very heartbroken to leave Violet and it was necessary for some reason. Threats? Criminal behavior? Something to do with the Cassadines? Idk, but it wasn't her just leaving because she wanted to. I would because Violet is a demon spawn, but I digress. I can't say I really am invested enough to say the show is taking "shots" at Hayden, but I do think someone should be actively looking for her like Liz or Chase. I don't think Finn has any formal custody agreement from the court or anything and she is the biological mother. The fact no one including Finn, Liz, Jeff, Curtis, etc really cares anything about Hayden's whereabouts is a bit funny though.

Really the only thing I can think of is that Chase/Brook really wanted to get Violet out of the volatile situation without much push back and just bumbled the whole delivery. Then stage an intervention because obviously Violet shouldn't be around for that. Although I do think A LOT more effort should be put into finding Hayden and at least trying to keep her up to date on the situation because I think it would be very difficult for anyone but CPS to get custody of Violet without Hayden's consent.

I thought maybe I missed something in a previous episode where Jagger did know Sam and was faking, but IIRC he didn't actually know who Carly was when he first met her either. But Sam used her real name and very specific details about Jason including they had a son together and she thought he died. You would think she would use one of her alias names and say her ex disappeared for awhile and re-appeared. She even gave the timeline of the divorce. They actually both are stupid at this point lol. I agree the way the show handled Finn was very disorganized. At least round up Alexis, Tracy, Liz, the family, etc and plan something instead of ambushing him and trying to get his awful child. But neither Brook Lynn or Chase are addiction experts so they clearly just acted in the emergency best interest of the minor child instead of thinking it through.

So, I have missed a weeks worth of episodes at least and watched today live. Are we supposed to believe Jagger has NO IDEA who Jason's ex-wife is? Never seen a picture? I know Jagger was never the sharpest tool in the shed, but wouldn't he get a whole dossier on Jason being his FBI handler and all? I guess it could all be a ruse on Jagger's part, but Sam was so very specific about her life details too.

That's the stupidest thing. Marlena- just take the card and burn it or shred it. It appears to be the only one existing. I honestly thought Drake was taking a vacation and the whole trip to Greece wasn't a story, but an excuse as to why John won't be around for a month or two.

I am of the mind that most soap head writers have decent and/or good ideas but aren't able to execute them properly. Whether it's network interference, guarantees of actors, cast changes, budget concerns, or just not being to follow through and pace properly. I know that's not true for every writer, but most HW's have shown at least enough competence to get where they are at some point. Anyhow, I could imagine it would be hard for DOC and CVE to come up with stories for so many cast members specifically those that don't inspire them. With FV's insistence on using the same set of actors and the inability to be able to get rid of characters, I have to assume is was a difficult task. I didn't really enjoy much of their work, but considering how PM was treated, I do cut DOC and CVE a bit more slack. I get the feeling we never got to see all their work because it didn't fall in line with Frank's vision.

Yeah, I basically have said similar before. I don't think it would hurt the show and I feel for their fans. I really don't mind watching them as a couple. I just don't think they are amazing either.

It's funny how pretty much everyone on this board is not a huge Liz/Jason fan, but a lot of us on this thread are like Liason aren't that bad. Wouldn't mind it. Because Finn/Liz are that bad 😂

I agree. I just get the sense that isn't the only reason the show isn't going with Finn/Alexis. Not that I actually wish Finn (or Violet) on anyone. NLG/ME just probably have the best chemistry of any of his pairings.

I assume it's a combo of the show pushing Gregory/Alexis, NLG being older than Easton, the show actively liking to underuse Alexis and overuse Finn, and the fact GH rarely cares about chemistry in couples these days lol. I think the actual reason the show vaguely gave is that are both recovering addicts and it wouldn't be a great idea. I agree I have recently noticed chemistry with them though. I think she could have power of her story. I just think LW rolls with the story and doesn't make big demands like some others do. LW seems like a pretty laid back person that comes and does her job and goes home. I THINK EK or FV would listen to her if she felt strongly about something.

I suspect that might have been the reason Marlena wasn't at the wedding. She could have most likely talked John down fairly easily. So....as weak as it is I believe Konstantin kept asking and hoping Victor would help him out with money all these years. Then when Victor agreed to put Konstantin in the will he decided to kill Victor to speed the process along and then decided to exact revenge when he found out he wasn't in the will at all. It still not a very solid story, but that's basically how I understood it today. Theresa's motivation still remains nonsensical.

I assumed racism was a main factor. TA seems to get the brunt of it from GH fans. What a bunch of nuts. I was just wondering if she specifically said or did something to incite anger* yesterday. Apparently not. Just wore a dress people didn't like. I will admit I did prefer SM's version of Trina though lol. *Not that anything she could possibly do would be enough to get racist hatred spewed at her.

This may be a stupid question, but I have mentioned I know little to nothing about Soap Twitter. Why do these people hate TA? Did she do something or is it just because she exists? I know this is a very different sector of soap fandom, but most people seem to like her around here.

No, but honestly Liz/Jason were never a priority for any regime lol. For all their fans and all the years they've teased the romance including giving Liz/Jason a kid I don't even remember a time they were "officially" together in a relationship lol. I think the show is leaning towards going with Carly/Jason, but I genuinely don't see how that's a more popular option.

I wouldn't put a Liz/Jason pairing at the top of my list of things for GH to do, but I don't think it would hurt the show much either. Liz has been put in worse pairings and situations for years now.

Add in the fact that Gwen and Alex actually did have a previous romantic relationship, it makes about 1000 times more sense than Theresa's plan. I can't imagine Dan being any worse than Ron.

I really think the bones of the story between Xander/Alex is good. I like the idea of Xander being the heir and Alex being an idiot and letting the money go to his head. That's all good drama. There are just so many pieces of Konstantin/Theresa's scheme that make no sense. Konstantin thought he was just going to marry Maggie, burn a paper copy of a pre nup and kill Maggie, take her money and just get away with it? When everyone in town is extremely suspicious of him already? Add to that he also killed Victor lol. Meanwhile, Theresa's goal is to marry Alex and get his money for what reason? Does she really love Alex? Does she really need the money? I think at least three people have offered Theresa's unqualified self good jobs. And after all these months Alex is still just casually dating Theresa. She hasn't accomplished much. Then there is Steve/John's involvement in the backstory and the dumb playing card, which has amounted to Steve/John just feeling really bad about killing someone forty years ago. I also struggle with the fact that Victor would just leave the son he didn't acknowledge his entire life half his fortune when he has multiple heirs he did like that got nothing. Every part of this story was just sort of half completed lol.

Everything in hindsight on GH looks better to me. I know that sounds cliche, but when I watch back a storyline or time period I can agree it wasn't awful. Although I am sure there are multiple posts I made 15 years ago saying how Guza was a hack. GH was very lucky with an embarrassment of riches as far as casting hires that popped and were charismatic in the 90's. As the 2000's went on the show failed more and more. I know we can probably circle back and say the Sonny/Carly/Jason show ruined a lot, but 20 years ago the stories were still fairly compelling. I think the show failed on levels of casting Jason, Sonny, and Carly's kids. Dante's compelling and the Danny/Jake situation is still to be determined, but GH has the same problem as Days were they haven't really built up the next leading generation. I can certainly tell you I won't watch a show built on Joss/Michael if Laura, Steve, and Mo retire.

I mean, the entire story is weak. Like why try to get Alex's millions when she could just re-connect with her millionaire baby daddy Brady? If you are playing the long game like Theresa is it would be so much easier to get back together with a man you once were married to and had a child with instead of a stranger lol. And........we have no indication Theresa, Tate, Shane/Kim, Andrew are struggling for money and Theresa stated she previously had a good job. So it makes zero sense. Theresa just randomly decided she wanted to be richer one day and have to play along with Konstantin? And why on earth did Konstantin find a random Brady child to execute this plan with?
