Well, I hope it's true Easton is out. We will see. WDV looked way too young to be Sam's dad and I am sure he is in real life. I know that has never stopped the show before, but it was a weird turn of events. And it really means nothing now because Julian is dead and Lucas is off screen. As far as kids, I guess it's lucky we haven't had a GH baby this year. Lois talking about babies and grandchildren made me nervous though. Also, did Lois forget Brook Lynn/Maxie's entire baby scheme a few years back? Didn't Lois think Brook was pregnant too and had time to prepare for the thought of grandkids? Basically it's the whole reason Chase/BLQ got together lol.

Sam's backstory is one of the more insane ones on the show. I just never could wrap my head around Alexis and Julian Jerome being her parents.

I mean, Days of our lives uses blankets instead of a baby and I am for that lol. I don't mind children popping in here and there, GH just has way too many young kids on the show.

I have said this before and I don't think many agree with me, but one of the strangest decisions GH made is writing Sam as Alexis's daughter. It still doesn't make any sense to me especially when you add in the Julian Jerome of it all. I actually think the Davis girls can be charming and a nice family unit. I think Kristina adds a lot more to the Sonny side of the family than Alexis's though. I mentioned RH in my reply. Epiphany wasn't really a main player at all and it was real life circumstances obviously. Not an active choice by GH.

It crazy when someone like Blaze has become a character that is on multiple days a week in a main story. She should have left long ago after her original story. And I don't even dislike Blaze lol. She just shouldn't be front burner and get ELR as a mother. There are so many characters that could simple drop back to recurring like you said. Nothing tragic needs to happen to them. They can just live in town and be used on a needs only basis. Not to mention the amount of child actors on this show! I doubt they are pricey, but they do take up airtime. Several need to go to boarding school. I like Kristina. I'd keep her.

It's crazy when you think about how many characters GH has added in the last 3 years and how few were let go that were important. Being very scientific and going off the top of my head we've only lost Britt, Nik, Esme, Spencer, RH, and Gregory? Obviously Bobbie as well and I know there are a few others I am missing, but I am not counting short term villains like Victor or people that pop in and out.

I have spent the past 20 years disliking Sam and KeMo's monotone portrayal. I have often felt she was the most low energy actor on the entire cast. Honestly, though, she hasn't bothered me recently. Kemo/Sam seem more invested. I wouldn't cry if she left, but she's not on the top of my list. I would get rid of Molly before Sam if we are getting rid of an Alexis kid.

If they go that route with Brook Lynn I would honestly seriously consider a recast or at least give the character a reset. We all know AS is capably of more, but she hasn't shown it in a long time.

I could see Finn making a disappearance to rehab for a bit a making a return unfortunately. Those 4 you mentioned would be the easiest to remove. I would worry about what Lois would have left to do if you got rid of Brook Lynn. I guess she can mother Gio or something, which is not ideal lol. I am on the fence about Spixie. I really do enjoy them, but it would be very easy to give them a quick happy ending off screen too. Valentin can leave any time now.

The story has been really difficult to follow and does seem very slapped together as the show goes along. I really thought Everett was going to have a twin or be related to Nick somehow. Today, it has to be DID. I don't see any other option to explain it. Two siblings in love with same person is at least believable. Multiple people in the same town having DID? On every show RC has written lol? I think I read somewhere that having DID or knowing someone with DID is so rare and a lot of those people are misdiagnosed as well. Of course being possessed by the Devil is probably more rare and that happened multiple times in Salem, so whatever.

Seriously, though, where is Hayden? Does Violet even see her or is Hayden on the run for doing something ridiculous?

I would kill her off and leave it open to interpretation. Bring her back if you need to down the road. Honestly, Ava does get a lot of airtime, so it would free up a good chunk of time for others. My luck Finn and Violet would get that airtime though.

Well, IMO, it looks like this Bobby/Everett story is leading to DID. I am a little shocked Ron is going to do it again after Abigail and the million times he did it on previous shows, but that's what it seems like. I didn't realize Eric had to get Nicole and Sloan on the same night drunk at the small bar lol. Poor Eric. I am surprised Sloan came clean with at least part of the truth. I really thought she would get exposed instead.

Isn't Georgie already a teen too? I know they changed actress, but the one that was around during the Charlotte story wasn't exactly a child. She looked at least 13 or 14 to me.

Alan did hit rock bottom much more than Brenda, for example, who had a pill addiction right around the same time. He really struggled and declined for a long time. I do think Alan lost some privileges at the hospital, but I am not sure if it was because his injured hand or the drugs. I just have a hard time remembering his recovery part of the story. I am sure there was one, but at the time I thought it was wrapped up quite quickly. I will say it has been years since I watched that storyline though. Honestly, you would think the actress that plays Violet would turn Frank off from kids for life lol.

I don't think there is any comparison with a young KMC to Jophielle Love (I actually looked up her name!). I can see the comparison with BRS as Emma to JL/Violet. They both could be annoyingly precocious, but BRS had a lot more emotional scenes that she did well enough while Violet is a walking talent show 99% of the time. BRS's take on Emma has chilled a lot now that she is a teen. I am actually surprised they haven't brought BRS back now that she's 18. I know a lot of people on here think Emma should be recast, but I'd give BRS a try first.

I am sure FV is trying to find another KA. I am pretty positive they have used the same kid as Violet since Violet came on the show. I see people comparing Violet to Emma and I never found Emma as annoying. The Nicholas Betchel Spencer stories with Emma and Cam were painful, but BRS as Emma was never as grating as Violet. It probably helps that I actually like Robin and Patrick and most of Emma's family. Congratulations on your sobriety! I wish you continued success. I agree certain characters just aren't made to have addiction issues and truly work the 12 steps on soaps. I do think GH has done a good job with Alexis's struggles. From her life completely falling apart to building herself back up with a continued focus on meetings and sobriety.

I don't know enough about PC and what's canon and not because GH messed with a lot of things and made most of it non existent. Some things exist like Karen being dead, but Livvie is just not real because Sam is not the same. I don't think it's crazy to think there are other bars in PC we just don't see though.

I honestly don't get it. Chanel has no register, cc reader, cash box or anything on her plastic table so I guess she just gives them out and hopes people will come back? You don't get it? Two women in a relationship opened it together. Sassy Ron jokes at his best........

I could see the Lucci pairing quite easily to be honest. I am glad to find like minded people here. My family thinks I am weird because I don't want to watch my nephew perform karate tricks on facetime for an extended amount of time lol JJ, KMc, and even AT seemed like real human children/tweens. I still don't get the concept that every child on soaps now has to be exceptionally smart, talented, sings, writes, is wholly compassionate, etc. Has FV ever met a child?
