Paltry rowd size will never explain word salad like this. And racist word salad, at that.

There are rumors floating around that Tik Tok kids and K-Pop fans RSVPed for thousands of tickets as a joke. Don't know if it's at all true but it made me giggle. This must be embarrassing for the clown car known as Trump Inc. Anyway you look at it, they flopped.

Barr's plan (and likely Trump's) was to replace Berman with some neophyte lackey from corporate law, while it was said quite some time ago that Berman would only step down if his deputy took his place and not someone with no experience.

I wish there more complete episodes of HBS and GM as Margo and Tom posted on YouTube. There are a couple episodes from Marx's first episodes on ATWT, Margo being temporarily deaf, which mainly features Tom and John bickering over Margo, one where Margo gets her hearing back and except for one or two episodes that seem unconnected from any storyline, then it seemingly skips to episodes surrounding Bob and Kim's wedding and reception and then suddenly Margo confronts Tom about his supposed one-night-stand with Barbara. The most episodes of GM's Tom and Margo's HBS seem to be the fallout from the faux ONS. We don't even get to see when Margo and Tom briefly get together, make love and Margo gets pregnant. We see when the gynecologist informs Margo that she's preggars, but we never see when Margo actually tells Tom. From there, we suddenly see Tom lament that his grandfather Chris never lived to hear the news about the baby (bad omen, right?) and then before you know it, Margo miscarries and we see more fallout from the miscarriage than the reconciliation between Tom and Margo.

Fans of P&G soaps really need a high-level advocate, someone who can communicate our needs to P&G. It's incredible, in the wake of the pandemic and BLM protests, corporations and institutions are opening up their vaults and making materials and intellectual properties more accessible to the public. I've experienced companies lowering their fees and prices to make things more affordable and accessible. Film production companies and aggregator sites have made many of their films accessible for free in honor of BLM, and many are high-caliber institutions, yet P&G won't budge. Honestly, P&G could be making many of their entertainment holdings accessible on streaming (not every single episode has popular music) and there are ways to block recording software. For crying out loud, if Netflix and HBO can put up some of their documentaries and comedies up on their YouTube channels, what makes P&G so precious?! Introducing some of their most popular and compelling storylines to later generations of viewers who aren't as familiar with the Golden Era standards would only boost P&G's credentials. P&G likes to boast about how much of a pioneer they were by bragging about Irna Phillips but they don't actually show us anything but a dry statement posted on their website.

While reading the news item, I had to chuckle at Barr trying to give Berman the 'bum's rush' and Berman basically saying 'nope, I'm not going anywhere'. Cue the Ken Watanabe GIF.

And Whitney and Jermaine performed one or two other songs on the show too but 'If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful' was Tom & Margo's theme song. Having access to clips would've been very helpful in that case but yeah, soap songs were a big part of the 80s, lol. Dana Delaney must've started China Beach a few short years after that audition, so her name must've been in the casting pipeline. OMG at Scott mentioning how Mary Linda Rapelye's character Maggie went to the Hayloft and never came out. Personally, I didn't care for that set but I wonder if that was the last time The Hayloft was seen onscreen? They all had a big laugh at the concept of SORASing.

This reunion was so much fun, I think it has to be my favorite one, followed by Don Hastings and Kathryn Hays. You could tell that Gregg, Hillary and Scott were excited to be gathered for this reunion. Also, I'm so glad that there were little to no technical glitches, which was a relief. I also have to say that Alan didn't do badly, he probably knew from the OLTL Reunion that HBS wouldn't need much prodding and he could sort of sit back and let the actors take the lead in the conversation. Wise move. Alan had several big smiles on his face, so I think he genuinely enjoyed himself. One note about the chat: I think there are too many people commenting on actors and stories that have nothing to do with these actors or their their time on the show, which might be part of the reason why Alan gets to so few questions in the chat because some people are cluttering up the chat feed with comments and questions and requests for other actors to appear that aren't even connected to the actors who are appearing at the time. I wish people would keep that in mind. Surely, Alan has a Twitter and it would better serve them if they reach him that way, if it is about a possible future reunion episode. I didn't mind the request for Anne Sward because Sward is connected to all of the actors who appeared today. In fact, I think Alan mentioned the possibility of them getting together again with Anne Sward, which I would love. I wish P&G would allow Alan to use clips. It would enhance it even more to get commentary from the actors on certain scenes. Although I understand that some actors cringe at watching themselves onscreen.

More resignations incoming.

No offense to the actor who played Brad Hollister but his look unsettles me. It was not so much Tom Selleck in Magnum P.I. and more, stranger in the alley in Times Square after midnight.

That is true but Trump has specifically crowed about this program, stating that it would help the Black community, (as if all Black people living in economically depressed areas) and by all counts, it has failed to do what it claimed and has only enriched the already wealthy. The Biden campaign, which I mentioned (as opposed to the general Democratic party) should be able to talk about this as another failed promise. It would be a lot better than saying, if you don't vote for me "you ain't black".

Not surprising that we'd see some resignations. Some sad news that I just discovered: Mel Winkler, who portrayed the first Leonard Franklin, father of Detective Roy Franklin (Count Stovall) passed away last week. About two years ago, or a little less, I believe I posted an article about Chinese and Indian military tensions along the border. Looks like it has only gotten worse since then.

There still needs to be an effective and safe prophylactic but if this helps more people survive this scourge then it's obviously good and necessary right now.

Did anyone read that NYT article? I did, and it was extensive. I wonder if Mary Trump provided some of those documents that were embedded in the article. The fact that she was a primary source for that feature really speaks volumes.

The next issue of the New Yorker is stunning. No words, really. Just feelings. Intense ones.
