Tens of thousands marched in Berlin, Germany, today in protest against restrictions brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53959552 With cases rising sharply again in many places in Europe, this might not have been the best time for such a protest.....

^^ Wow. Has any former president ever been so openly critical of their successor before? I mean, he's completely and utterly correct in everything he says, but wow, he's not holding back one little bit.....

Apparently Serena thinks so... But personally I don't think you can compare players (or achievements) from such different eras, nor do I think you can label one player as the greatest of all time. Greatest of a certain era yes, but not of all time. There are to many differences in equipment, level of competition, training methods etc Tennis is so different now from when, for example, Margaret Court was playing. Not to mention compared to when other greats like Lenglen, Wills Moody or Connolly was playing. I don't even think you could compare tennis now to when Navratilova and Evert were playing, or the early years of Graf and Seles.

I don't see what's fake about her. You might (and thankfully most people do) disagree with her views on things, but there's nothing fake about her achievements on the tennis court.

^^ No offense to Puerto Rico, but I would love to hear the arguments he was going to use to persuade Denmark to do that exchange.....

I wonder if Serena will ever get a better chance to win that elusive #24. With so many dangerous opponents absent (Barty, Halep, Andreescu, Svitolina, Bertens etc) this could be her big opportunity to tie Margaret Court's record.

Any thoughts on what's happening in Belarus? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53796436 Watching Lukashenko being booed when trying to make a speech takes me back to 1989 and the tumultuous events in eastern Europe. I'm sure those images flashes before Lukashenko's eyes as well..... I wonder if he will be able to hang on to his power? I guess it depends on how Russia reacts. I doubt that Putin is happy with all of this. It endangers his own position.
