  1. What a sad way to start the day. I was never a huge fan of "Friends", though I did enjoy the first seasons, but it's impossible to deny its success, and most of that was due to the chemistry between the actors, including Matthew. He had great comedic timing, and a very likeable presence. Of course his subsequent struggles have been no secret, so while his death is sad it's not entirely surprising.
  2. ^^ Look how stunning Hunter Tylo used to be! Why oh why did she ever butcher herself the way she did?!
  3. Wow, not bad at all, especially considering Angela (Rippon that is) turned 79 recently!
  4. I never thought I'd hear the Dingle family and their pollution of Emmerdale be described so succinctly, let alone by one of its own members, but this is what James Hooton (Sam) said: https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emmerdale/a45654668/emmerdale-spoilers-james-hooton-death-storyline/
  5. When I read that I actually heard David Hyde Pierce's voice in my head.
  6. This sounds like Must-Avoid-At-All-Cost-TV 🤢 Emmerdale announces villain's death and big whodunit story
  7. Unfortunately you're not alone. You might be further along down that slippery slope, but we're heading in the same direction. Our current government is dependent on support from the right-wing Sweden Democrat party, which has its roots in neo-nazism. And they're using their influence to move the political discourse inch by inch in their preferred direction. They've been rather subtle about it before, but with their new position of power they're becoming increasingly more bold.
  8. Here we go again..... Maine mass shooting: At least 16 feared dead in US city of Lewiston
  9. Wow, this was in 2003??!! It feels more like 1603!
  10. I find that perfectly natural. We (the viewers) are all different people so of course we all react differently to what we see on screen. What I do find "interesting" though is how some can't seem to grasp that concept, and act as if their opinion is the right one and everyone who disagrees with them are wrong and must be made to change their mind.
  11. She was one of those people that you recognized but never really could say where you'd seen them. Probably because she showed up all over the place and always did solid work.
  12. There was a crossover between EastEnders and Coronation Street in the UK some years ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Street_(Children_in_Need) There was also a crossover (sort of) between all the major British soaps just a few years ago. EastEnders, Coronation Street and other soaps to crossover in historic TV event
  13. Who would have come out on top if there had been crossovers and we'd have seen Angela vs JR, Alexis vs JR or Angela vs Alexis or maybe even JR vs Alexis vs Angela?
  14. This is the kind of stories that have made me hate the Dingles (among other things, like them being totally unlikeable, obnoxious and basically the scum of the earth) https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emmerdale/a45536700/emmerdale-danny-miller-aaron-family-storyline/
