  1. Does anyone know if Joshua Hall's biological parents ever appeared? I got to thinking how AMC got years of story for Joe and Ruth adopting Tad but Carla and Ed seemed to just marry, adopt Josh and fade into the back burner until her affair with Jack Scott.
  2. Forgot to add that I felt every character added something to the ongoing story with separate motivations. Compared to today's Victoria, Stitch, Billy and Chelsea. The show is just unrecognizable. And seeing Michael as a villain is nice too. I wish they would have used Lauren's affair with Carmine to send Michael towards another breakdown.
  3. Thanks for all the uploads! I had not had time until recently to watch these early 90s episodes and I'm glad I finally got to it! I have never seen much of that era but it is captivating honestly. I see what people mean by every scene feeling important. Loved the Dru/Neil scenes and Lauren seeing the Forrester label on Molly's dress and she's IN CHARACTER, looking fabulous. Ashley and Traci's scenes were especially nice, so many layers to their relationship and Beth looked amazing, better than ever there. Does anyone think her marriage to Steve was the last straw for the character? I know she was already on recurring and stayed for a few more years but I think she could have had another lead romance.
  4. Thanks for sharing that. I would love to see that entire story line and the resulting Kim/John/Dan/Susan quadrangle. Is any of the 70s footage available? I know Soap Classic had 1978 onward and some of the 60s seem available but I haven't heard anything of the 70s.
  5. I remember when this show first came on I was excited to watch every week and now I forget it exists. What's Candace's story this season?
  6. I wasn't watching then but the casting for Annie and Dee (wasn't there a third?). Really was outrageous. They both came off twenty years older to me and had no charisma.
  7. I remember thinking Rafe had wanted housewife in Delila every time I watched some late 80s clips or read recaps. Wasn't Delila origiy a schemer? Too bad they didn't do more with them with her yearning to be a singer in night clubs. I think she did continue singing though. Was there anyone else they could have paired Rafe with after she left in 1989?
  8. I was listening to the 1968 Joan Crawford episode. Is anyone able to give further detail on the Valerie/Nick/Joan storyline? Did Nick leave Joan for Valerie and how heavily were they involved? And Valerie mentioned Joan paying someone off but not having the money or the brains to do so. What had she lied about and who was helping her in her scheme? Thanks in advance!
  9. Wow! Thanks for sharing that. Anyone know what year it may be from?
  10. Are their monthly or any story recaps for the entire year of 1967? I'm interested to see what they may be showing. Although I'm still skeptical to get excited.
  11. Does anyone know if Judy Pace was actually on the show? I know Wiki isn't reliable but it lists her as having a role in the 70s and I was wondering who she played.
  12. Sandy Horton was on the show as late as the 80s? I thought she was long gone by then.
  13. Thanks for sharing those articles, DRW. It's nice seeing the story previews and why they made some story decisions. I am in the middle of rewatching season three and am almost to the finale so it was perfect timing. I can't believe they didn't do more with Michael and Amanda. Those two really could have been a power couple. I would have loved to see Peter and Kimberly team up to turn Michael and Amanda against each other out of jealousy. While I love the epic season three finale, i think it made it hard for Kimberly to fit in and then that disastrous D.I.D. storyline she had. Anything would have been better.
  14. The show seemed so gothic between 1980-1982 between the cult, the Edward story that definitely seems inspired by Psycho and wasn't Katherine taunting Suzanne and/or Jill around this time too? And I think it was 1983 with Victor faking his death and crazy Eve too. I wish I could see these years in full.
  15. Thanks Carl! Can't believe i confused them but its been awhile.
  16. Are those scenes of James returning in the costume in the courtroom still on YouTube? I think they used to be on there because it sounds familiar.
  17. I've begun to fast forward through everything that Tika isn't in. Its just become so dreadful. I watch the show in five minutes now.
  18. Sunday's episode was probably the best in a year and a half, outside of the season two finale. I hope the ratings improve because the show is finally good again. Its been great having Lydia back too. I hope she sticks around.
  19. I've finally started watching season one and wow, its a completely different show. I've heard.it was awful but i have enjoyed some of these stand alone episodes. And I don't know if I completely missed this detail later on, but I had no idea Jane was pregnant and lost the baby in the first season. I have also enjoyed the forgotten Rhonda and Sandy more than I expected, especially after Sandy lost that country accent. Sandy was well enough and i don't think it was a loss to write her out but I wish they had tried more with Rhonda.
  20. It really has. I LOVE having Lydia back and the next two episodes look promising.
  21. Glad I'm not the only one. I really enjoyed it. I actually liked the family too. Though I found it ridiculous the girl had not realized to shoot them in the head yet.
  22. I know this is going waaay back, but reading the Llanview in the Afternoon book and seeing Lee Warrick's comments I became interested in her character, Julie Siegel. She was there 1969-1974 but all I can find was how her relationship with Jack Lawson drove her to a breakdown, then she married Mark Toland. That happened in 1971 and I know he cheated with Dorian years later but she's left out of those recaps. Anybody have any background information on her?
  23. Was the 1969 episode taken off YouTube? I can't find it anywhere.
  24. I don't remember seeing this anywhere else, but I was re-reading the 2008 trivia book and thought I would share some changed storylines. Apparently Pat was supposed to be in the love triangle with Dorian and David Renaldi, not Jenny but it says Jacqueline Courtney had been lingering for too long and already chose to leave. Angela Holliday was supposed to be the one enabling Max's gambling addiction but they switched it to Blair since she and Max already shared a past. The worst of all is that they intended to kill off RJ Gannon...at the fault of Rachel. Nora would have confessed to killing RJ to protect her.
  25. I started season 4 volume 2 a few weeks ago and was bored to death so I just skipped too the last disc but I was enjoying Kirby and then Dex and Alexis and of course Domanique.
