  1. A 1983 episode I'd never seen on Youtube before.
  2. Never seen this before either.
  3. I never heard about that 1991 revival ever being planned for a movie.
  4. In some cases, yes, but Hunt Block was the first to show me that was not an absolute.
  5. I think he and Maura West brought out a lot in each other. Before her he was unbearable and after her, just dull.
  6. It's funny, vetsoapfan, as I thought this week was one of the strongest in a while (most of this year, at the very least) for interpersonal relationships and conversations instead of plot points. Laurel's return to work and the Vanessa PPD (even if they aren't calling it that) struggles. I hope you get to see it. The mystery stuff is dull and not really worth talking about.
  7. Yes. He wanted something newer and edgier.
  8. Wow - he looks almost exactly the same in the face.
  9. Enjoy as I'm not sure how long it will be up.
  10. It's interesting you posted this (I wish you posted more) as I saw someone on DS saying she was out in January. I've grown to like Nancy, especially with Tamwar. I'll be sad to see her go. Not devastated, but sad. I don't mind Lee, and I can tolerate Linda, but Nancy's the only Carter I actually come close to liking.
  11. Sarah and Paul weren't around long - 6 months, maybe a little longer for her. EAS was Paul's shopping channel. Diego raped Emily several months after this episode. I don't think Valente or Black and Stern knew exactly where to take Diego (as you saw with all the "I don't like violence" woo-woo type stuff). Behr made him a clear-cut villain. I think they also raped Emily to "redeem" her after she'd behaved horribly for a year. (of course when Broderick came in she threw that out the window...) KMH just wasn't suited to play Emily. After a few years they began writing her as heavy on the neuroses, likely because KMH was so tic-laden, and it just further degraded the character. I found that my opinion of KMH mostly rose or fell based on the man Emily was paired with, which is sad, IMO, when you remember that Melanie Smith gave the character such integrity even when Marland used her as a great big whore for most of Smith's run.
  12. John Valente. This was Black and Stern, or as some at the time called them, Black and Decker. Best known for primetime stuff and the soft porn soap Eden (which was actually better written than their tenure here...).
  13. Here's the episode (originally from another YT channel that's been gone for a few years now). It's somewhere from August 29-early September, as SOD said August 29 was her first airdate and I doubt she was around long. Other than the loltastically terrible acting, it's not much worse than anything in ATWT's last decade, but the complete lack of vets onscreen (minus Lily and cameos from Emma and Lucinda) - no wonder a lot of fans had had enough. I still think if they'd tried harder with Zoe she wouldn't have been that bad a choice to keep around.
  14. It would have been interesting to see. It's hard to say because his humor in women was either kooky or barely concealed rage and sniping (Marcy, Lilith, Tess). I think the closest may have been his last few years of Julie, and sometimes Emily. I do wish they'd tried to bring her back.
  15. Thanks. I didn't realize they had any 1996. I think this one may be earlier in October then. The whole Lisa thing at the end still bothers me. Marland seemed to have a very serious view of the Stenbecks, aside from the bad camp of his mother. He had a very dark interpretation of James as well, especially his preying on young, borderline underage (not even sure about the borderline part actually) girls.
  16. I prefer her later version of this song, but the end of this does give me chills.
  17. Do any of you know where recaps are for October 1996? I have an episode with Jane Powell as Lisa and I think it's from October, but I have no idea when.
  18. Brian Frons/CBS canceled it for Capitol.

And I saw that she said people on Twitter are "raping" her? It's not just that she's a bigot, she's also incredibly stupid. I guess this is what the producers wanted, it's why they canned that Nicole Wallace person - they want idiots. They want Bitsy 2.0. Maybe the ratings are going up. I have no idea. A lot of people love to reward stupidity. But I find it embarrassing. She should be ashamed of herself. She's a [!@#$%^&*] for brains, and a lousy actress too.

The View has always been anti-gay. She's just carrying on the tradition. And she continues to be a shining example of why I will never watch anything with any actor whose last name is Cameron - aside from that woman who played Ada's daughter on AW...wherever she is now. "Accept responsibility" - isn't that what he's doing by giving the interviews in the first place? What an idiot. And why am I not surprised Raven Symone is as narcissistic as ever. http://www.advocate.com/hiv-aids/2015/10/07/how-not-interview-hiv-positive-person
  21. I'm just glad she got a happy ending, which was a welcome surprise. I loved that she got to say, "I'm free now." Rumor has it they nearly killed her off - what a mistake that would have been. I will forgive the cop almost anything because I loved him as Malachy on Hollyoaks. Ian seeing Kathy was lackluster as hell. The suicide scene was unbelievable, came out of nowhere, and had a very poor performance from Laurie Brett, who really needs to go when this story has finished. If the planet is still spinning by that time. It's also laughable that they're trying to say Paul has feelings for Ben when none of that was developed onscreen.
  22. I can't really see either of them making it, although Ryan might have more of a chance than Adam, as he's a bit more of the classic leading man look. Danny Miller was just saying in an interview he wished Adam had more to do so that does make me wonder... I would love to see all of those characters go, but sadly there's a certain clique at Corrie that rules all.
  23. Neither do I, but I kind of wonder if new producers would really want him back...
