  1. This is from a year or two ago.
  2. So I guess Pamela Toll got the above haircut in her last months on The Doctors. Not flattering to say the least, IMO. Anyway, someone has uploaded audio clips of the show from 1976, and an audio recording of the last episode.
  3. I guess it worked for her...
  4. Is this Tonya Lee Williams in the Big Red ad?
  5. I'm surprised someone who killed people off based on whether the actors got a DUI is such a stickler.
  6. Here's a Halloween 2001 episode I uploaded. The main story is about the teens and the murder they were trying to cover up (if it reminds you of a certain horror movie, that was likely deliberate). It's always interesting seeing more of Donna, Katie, Robert and Andy at that age. The show had a much heavier teen scene at this time than they did before or since. I do wonder if that will change with a Hollyoaks producer on the way. The guy who plays Marc Reynolds isn't the best actor, but he's pretty hot. The show as always had a fair amount of hot guys on display. I always liked Louise. It's a shame she basically no longer exists. It would bother me more if Emily Symons hadn't wanted to leave for personal reasons.
  7. Totally agree about the Foxes and the Masoods, even with DTC's obvious disinterest. I keep seeing people say, "I don't care about Shabnam, I want more Mitchells and Beales," and I'm like - you already get them 90% of the time. Sit your ass down. At first I thought you said Kasnoffs instead of Knockoffs. The Kasnoffs actually were preferable to most of the Carters... I just don't buy Gavin as a big threat. They were lucky to have Larry Lamb. They shouldn't have wasted him. (he reportedly was not happy with what they did to Archie, and I can't blame him)
  8. It was too precious, too self-referential, too "inside." One of the main reasons Eastenders has struggled in the last decade has been producers who are too obsessed with making the past their own. No other soap does this. Look at how Emmerdale all but stamps out the past at times to try to create a future. I don't really approve of that approach, but at least it means less time spent coughing up greatest hits. Even the Carters, who were supposed to be some fresh new family, got the "He's your bruvva!!!" nonsense, a failed knockoff of Zoe/Kat. There's no reason for him to have said that. It does nothing to further story or create a moment. It does nothing but cheapen the past and limit the future.
  9. If they admitted his Martin is a creep and a stalker and a loser, I wouldn't mind him, but I'm tired of hearing about how he is the "ordinary" or "average" guy. If he is, then no wonder young women keep fleeing Walford.
  10. I'm so tired of that idiot on Digital Spy who keeps defending Aaron at every turn and bringing up Robert scaring Victoria into mutism 11 years ago (when she stopped being angry with him about it after like a day after the truth about the affair came out to Jack). Over and over and over to remind people of how "evil" Robert is, when it isn't like anyone at that cesspool likes Robert anyway. Aaron is a thug - he nearly killed someone for no apparent reason not that long ago, and he kept quiet about Katie to save his own neck, even when he knew Andy might kill himself. Why not just own up to this and say you like the character anyway, instead of endlessly going on about evil Robert and poor precious Aaron and how Robert was so mean to Aaron's mommy and daddy and tried to kill them (frankly they've been so awful this year, between hitting Aaron and nearly driving him to suicide, it's hard to keep pushing that narrative)? It's OK if you like a character who is not a saint. And Aaron, regardless of what the show may claim, is not a saint. The only reason anyone even gives a damn about Aaron outside of some hardcore fans from 5 years ago is because of the Aaron/Robert story, and that's in spite of the show's best efforts to derail the whole thing in favor of boo hoo Aaron and 500000 scenes of the disgusting White family smirking it up and throwing themselves pity parties.
  11. lol at wanting viewers to be shocked that boring old Gavin is Sharon's father. Was the episode any good? Not sure I'm going to bother, especially if that godawful Martin recast is stinking it up.
  12. It doesn't get a lot of attention how repeatedly electing far right majorities to government has led a fairly progressive state like North Carolina to be slowly but surely decimated, but this particular example turns my stomach, especially as it involves a woman who made a damn fool of herself in a chilling time when W and the far right who elected him in 2004 seemed to have total power. http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2015/10/27/margaret_spellings_new_unc_president_is_anti_gay.html
  13. The costumes last night were very good. http://inisabus.tumblr.com/post/132146258188
  14. She looks terrific. You can't beat true glamour.
  15. More wet kisses for the media darling. I haven't seen The Fix get this gushy since their favorite "T-Paw," whom they spent years and years and years fluffling for. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/has-the-marco-moment-arrived/2015/10/29/762a6a1e-7e35-11e5-beba-927fd8634498_story.html?tid=pm_politics_pop_b The media will work a full court press to get him elected, especially against their old foe Hillary. We're just getting started. The ratings weren't that great, which is what a trash network like CNBC deserves. http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-media/2015/10/preliminary-cnbc-debate-ratings-fall-short-of-fox-and-cnn-215345
  16. The "liberal" media in a nutshell - a moderator apologizes for getting the facts right, because she's too damn stupid to even know she'd gotten them right. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/donald-trump-mark-zuckerberg I did laugh at this from Hillary. http://onpolitics.usatoday.com/2015/10/28/hillary-clinton-gop-debate/
  17. The press was itching to finally get their longtime favorite to take over the pack (as Carson and Trump are mostly sideshows), and we can already see those headlines starting. Media darling Marco's time to shine. http://www.politico.com/story/2015/10/republican-debate-boulder-2016-215265
