  1. Thanks. I wish I could see some of that story with Lisa. The little I've seen with Paul's death does seem morbid.
  2. One of those songs that has been stuck in my head for years:
  3. Do you know what she was talking about with the plant stuff? Was that Tom and Carol? What went on with Wally and Jennifer and Lisa and Don? Was she with Don when she had the phantom pregnancy?
  4. I always wished they'd done more with her - or brought her back later on since everyone else came back from the dead. Of course they would have just made her a psycho. I love that shot of Nancy Pinkerton.

  6. Enjoy hearing your thoughts. I'm glad you're enjoying the show. I rarely watch. What do you think of the cancer story, and the rumors of
  7. Is this Zaida Coles in the Jif ad? I can't decide.

  11. There was a bit more than that - she grabbed his ass, and we got the equivalent of the "don't mess with him" bodydrop, but considering it was not even 24 hours after their first time, I thought it was all understandable. It just showed me they can be partners in every way and it won't change the dynamic of the show. It's also canny of the show to give him more scenes with Daryl in case any fans become convinced she's taking Daryl's place, or whatever. I think this episode just ended up showing again how much Abraham is an ill fit into the canvas. Michael Cudlitz is a good actor, and he did a particularly good job in this episode, but seeing him basically ask people he barely speaks to about babies and whether they want babies - talk about forced. I'm not thrilled that the only role Sasha has is being his impetus to dump Rosita. In spite of the iffy writing I think Rosita and Abraham, thanks to the actors, work well together, and while I get the idea of Abraham seeing her as his wilderness years and now wanting to go back to what he had before with his wife, I just don't think the buildup was there. And I'd like to see more of Rosita in her own right. Hilltop was a bit underwhelming for me - trailers and a big mansion and wangy-twang music that sounded like instrumentals for a CBS show circa the early '80s. Gregory was also more of the same - another leader who is an idiot, with added sexism and perviness. I did like some of the supporting people, like the doctor (I can't help wondering if he will end up replacing Denise...), and Jesus is still a good addition. Best of all was seeing Maggie get to take a more dominant role in the group, in an area that was more her forte. The show is both blessed and cursed with so many interesting female characters, because even to give Maggie more to do, Carol was MIA, but at any rate, it was good to see her growing into her own role.
  12. I found this channel with a lot of '80s and '90s EE episodes. You may want to get them while you can. http://www.dailymotion.com/harlowesoap
  13. Finn, or they could bring back Robert's old hooker, Connor.
  14. I think Lawrence is an interesting character, but more if they have him come out and date a toyboy or something. Chrissie and Lachlan though - I can't anymore...especially Lachlan. If they were going to pair Chrissie with another man I would have taken Ross.
  15. I doubt it. He was never onscreen with Megan - not sure if she ever mentioned him. He really did seem to vanish almost immediately on Emmerdale. That whole family was a flop - Mia was especially slappable. What annoys me most with this nonsense is that I feel like we're actually supposed to be supporting Lawrence and Chrissie. Lawrence being asked to adopt Gabby, even though he's not only a terrible parent, but is also a hardcore misogynist. And Chrissie's nonstop WHINING (does she ever do anything but whine?) to Andy, who shows himself as a chump by just saying family will take care of Lachlan, like family took care of him. Family "taking care" of Andy led him to kill his mother, shoot his father, knock up underage Debbie, and batter his wife Jo black and blue. He needed therapy, which no one on the show will ever say to Chrissie about her precious son. I was always against Chrissie/Andy, but I'd hoped if they got together he might at least talk sense to her about her monster of a son. That he is instead enabling her pathetic delusions means I'm fully disgusted by it. I hope the new producer does not coddle this nasty family the way Kate Oates did.
  16. I don't think any Democrat running in 2014 had much of a chance - Kay Hagan, senator from NC, was said to have run a nearly-perfect campaign, and still lost to a smarmy dumbass from the loathed state legislature. With that said, I kept reading over and over what a terrible candidate Wendy Davis was. Texas was a huge longshot anyway, but she did herself no favors.
  17. Yikes. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3467776/Georgia-Foote-left-bruised-terrified-ex-boyfriend-Sean-Ward-flew-jealous-rage-following-Strictly-final.html
  18. Sorry to hear this. While I know he had some regrets about the show later on, I loved his work as Nicholas Blair. He and Lara made some very thin scripts tolerable in the Cassandra/vampire Angelique period.

  20. Probably something akin to what Elizabeth Warren would have done under Obama if they hadn't blocked her.
  21. I think he'll drag it on for a while. I do think they should make a deal. She could use his supporters. I see that she's going the "America has always been great" route. It's a nice idea, but the problem is a lot of voters don't believe that, and while you shouldn't pander to the worst of these voters (xenophobia, racism, bigotry, anger and violence), ignoring the idea altogether is leaving Trump and the GOP with that avenue all to themselves.
  22. Did he try in SC? Hiring at least 200 paid staff and spending almost $2M in SC alone looks an awful lot like trying. I guess - I meant in recent weeks. It seemed like he'd handwaved it a while back.
