  1. Another interesting article at Politico about one of Trump's Russia "advisers." He's about what you would expect. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/09/the-mystery-of-trumps-man-in-moscow-214283
  2. Apparently that wasn't his last episode. He'll be back in a week or two briefly. I think Ben needs Kathy a lot. He's a broken shell of a young man, and a lot of that is on her. This would have been a believable conflict if they'd bothered to develop her relationship with Buster or with her sons. As they did neither, it fell flat. She had to choose between a man who had so little respect for her that he pounded her in his girlfriend's bed, and two sons she barely shares scenes with.
  3. I know there was one on Youtube at one time when they were in San Francisco (Lauren and Shawn) but that's all I can remember. There used to be a clip when he was driving her around during the kidnapping story but I don't think that's on now either.
  4. The GOP are unified barely. That's why none of the names are campaigning for Trump including the ball-less wonder Paul Ryan. Yet all out of office GOP members are voting democratic. When I hear Jimmy Carter or Al Gore endorsing Trump then I'll worry. Call me when the Bush family and Kasich endorses which will never happen. Bush because their political careers are over and Kasich is positioning himself for 2020. It won't matter though - the people the media cares about support Trump. They're already spinning the Bushes not supporting him as bad for Hillary because it means the elites are behind her. The media will do anything for Trump.
  5. The media will pull their puds to this for ages and remind us that the GOP is now unified while the Democrats are divided, blah blah blah. Cruz has always been a gutless loudmouth who craves attention beyond anything else.
  6. This was probably already posted in the thread, but it's a 1979 interview with Hillary not long after Bill was elected governor of Arkansas. https://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/hillary-clinton-1979?utm_term=.qogyMqV0Ka#.rdxo6vQBDV
  7. I see that "predicted every election since 1984" man is being interviewed again. I don't understand why this is interesting, aside from a media that would sacrifice their children for a Trump win. The only election that has been close since 1980 has been 2000. 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2004, 2008, and for the most part 2012 (even if I thought Romney would get it until near the end) were all obvious from September or even earlier.
  8. slick jones, I don't know if you saw them, but munecojim uploaded the closing credits of about 3-4 Loving episodes (and one complete episode) from October 1990. I put the videos in the Loving/City thread.
  9. He would have been a whole lot better. I'm not sure he could have played the cold manipulative villain part, but the charm and manipulation, yes. He was too young looking to be Sharon's father, but Kathy's husband, yes. Paul Nicholas was just dreadful in the role. Nothing against him but he looked like a corpse.
  10. I think we're getting even more of her at this point because a lot of actors are on holiday. I don't care much for Tracy and David as a couple or her being too close to Eric or Jacob. I like her on her own and I enjoy her relationship with Vanessa when they're on decent terms. I just hope they will figure out what to do with Tracy/David as a couple as the actors work OK together but it isn't enough to make up for the writing (the rushed relationship, the proposals, etc.) It's impossible for her to replace Alicia, and Alicia remains the ghost in the room. That and Leyla always being so vibrant . I was worried they would try to push her out of the story altogether - at least they haven't done that.
  11. Polling often screws up black voters - one firm, SUSA, used to claim 20-30% were always voting for a Republican in a race. With that said, I do think turnout will be depressed, even this year, because of voter suppression and because of the media and because a lot of people are just apathetic about Hillary.
  12. Tammy Blanchard was on the premiere of Bull. I almost didn't recognize her at first but then it clicked.
  13. Does anyone know who played Louella Watson in this?
  14. Todd seems to be Kate Oates' new Robert Sugden - a plot device she knows can get away with doing a lot of stupid things. Corrie isn't Emmerdale, which has been chock full of amorality since the wonderful Chris and Kim Tate era, so she won't have him killing people, but it's the same short-term, meandering focus. This story (anything with Phelan, really), the Leanne/Steve mess, and the awful lesbian panic mess with Maria have made me not want to watch any of Corrie anytime soon. It's a shame.
  15. The so-called Oracle/Rock Star of Wall Street? Ugh. Did people read this Op-Ed from HRC on her plans to help America's Poor? It's about time to address this issue. It's actually overdue. Some of these things, she's already said but it is good to hear more and in more concrete, specific terms. Hillary Clinton: My Plan for Helping America’s Poor Why talk about that when the media can gush about Don King speaking for Trump and how this shows he's working hard to win black voters? Another example of the brain dead types on the left - an RFK speechwriter who loves Trump because he's the anti-war candidate. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/09/rfk-trump-2016-democratic-party-speechwriter-214270
  16. More of Joe doing the Trump water-carrying. He would never talk to any Trump people this way. He's also giddy to have a "Gary Johnson moment," because it's all a circus for him. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/robby-mook-dodges-morning-joe-syria It's time for the Clinton campaign to stop having any of their people go on the cable news shows or any news shows. They all want Trump to win and they don't bother to hide it. It's good business and they're too stupid to realize he will gut them when he wins.
  17. I was surprised to see that, although I agree with most of it. I was especially glad to see them point out how shambolic the last months of the show were. I'm used to Digital Spy just having clickbait articles now, like all the other sites.
  18. Andrea Mitchell's always been a hack. Her marriage to Alan Greenspan is a big part of that.
  19. That would have been great, especially around the time her son was on the show.
  20. Thanks. How long was Alan around?
  21. Partial 1962 episode. I don't really know much about this story, but the woman at the end is interesting.
