  1. Republicans are still hemming and hawing, waiting, and enabling. What a shock.
  2. In some amusing news from earlier today, former media darling Elise Stefanik got turfed from Harvard for being a seditionist. After watching the far more appealing lady Gremlin from Gremlins 2 and desperately trying to bite her palette, Stefanik went on Hannity to whine and whine and whine at the realization her career outside of the clown car is over.
  3. She was married to Jonathan Penner and appeared on Survivor for the family visit episode.
  4. A close friend of my mother (they don't live close to each other now) told her earlier that they contracted COVID. They now have to worry about their loved ones, not to mention their own history of health problems, and on top of that has a parent they now can't care for. This just goes on and on, and keeps impacting more and more people, with no end in sight. (sorry, I know the writing is a mess...)
  5. Boebert tweeted out Pelosi's location to the terrorists. She should be expelled.
  6. I can't tell you how much I despise this man. I'm glad he burned all of his bridges with Biden during the campaign. He's now stuck shoving his melting pig face on the morning shows for 2 years at least, watching the world go by.
  7. They are taught not to have empathy, yet to expect everyone else to have empathy for them. These people have been coddled to no end even as they go on and on about "[!@#$%^&*] your feelings." They should be rooted out of any levers of power or influence wherever possible.
  8. Ken Burns shares his thoughts: https://www.politico.com/newsletters/playbook/2021/01/12/americas-fourth-great-crisis-491367
  9. One of my lasting images of Adelson will be from last year, when Trump reportedly berated him over the phone, humiliating him, yet he still ended up giving Trump more money. What a legacy to leave.
  10. "Our movement." Three guesses what the Hitler lover means by that.
  11. That may be what I was thinking of.
  12. It's been a long time since I read the book but I thought he complimented Marlowe briefly to make a dig at Virginia Dwyer.
  13. These companies will funnel their money through in another PAC, or will just donate to Scott after a polite delay, but I do hope this will hang over him and stop his slow march toward more power. Some in the House are trying to censure Mo Brooks. More needs to be done, but I guess expulsion is still too much.
  14. These people don't actually care about freedom of speech. They are happy to oppress other people who don't share their views. Even Angela Merkel, who decided to make Trump a martyr today, presides over stringent laws against free speech. Yet suddenly she is upset.
  15. The Republicans who refused to wear masks should be expelled.
  16. This is going to be the new normal. I am aware it has been 'normal' for many in this country for a long time now, so that is poorly worded, but I'm worried about just how much further it's going to keep going. The Glenn Greenwald types who have so much influence keep berating and hectoring the idea of a new domestic terrorism bill and comparisons to 9/11. I understand some of the wariness, especially with how the Patriot Act ended up being used, but it's going to get to a point where what happened at the Capitol is going to seem like child's play.
  17. This was the state supreme court race in North Carolina that came down to a few hundred votes, where the GOP spend endless money and launched various attacks against the black female chief justice (Beasley). It's so dispiriting - this is the type of stuff they continue to use to rot this country away state by state.
  18. It's long overdue to delve into the organizations that exist to brainwash the military into fascism and theocracy. If they don't, then I'm very concerned about what is going to happen over the next four years. Grifters like Shapiro have probably reached their peak but a lot of people seem to eat up that Daily Wire [!@#$%^&*]. I do wonder how many will keep listening to low-energy Glenn Beck and his completely pathetic drones like Dave Rubin. Has there ever been a First Lady as useless - and completely irrelevant to the public - as Melania?
  19. It's very well-written and is a priceless document to an era that is mostly unavailable, but the main problem with the book is his digs don't really tend to match what we see of the surviving fragments, especially when it comes to Jacquie Courtney.
  20. I don't really ever have the energy to track down the SOD synopses so I tend to be way off on these promos too unless I know where they were first from. I'm just glad you are putting up so many promos I'd never seen before.
  21. Soaps Past uploaded an episode with some of this material - it aired on December 11.
