A long tweet thread on who and how the Ukraine bio labs propaganda spread, The truly sickening Elon Musk is all over his Twitter now shaming people who care about the invasion of Ukraine, so that tells you how effectively Putin's lies, and those of his employees like Glenn Greenwald and Aaron mate, have spread.

Who can forget the glories of "black rabbit Jack Abbott" and "cut the crap!"? And IIRC, Jamey's toxic site DC was among those pushing that line. Over and over, star writers and star personalities, and their sycophants, have put the final nails in the coffin of this genre. The current gruesomely untalented, thin-skinned HW of DAYS being one of the best and worst examples.

Hall was the correspondent who responded to that dickless pig Gutfeld's whining about how showing images of death and violence in Ukraine was manipulating viewers.

I was reading about the comments Rebel Wilson made after Will Smith won Best Actor at the BAFTAs (dragging him for Jada being with other men). I know that Jada herself brought all that up on her talk show, but I wish so many of these hosts would stop trying to "shock" everyone and just tell a few jokes and get the hell out of the way. It's just graceless, and tired.

I think he's saying a lot of that because he knows he will be accused of being a warmonger (even more than he already is) and give many on the left and the right an opening to go after him (more than they already are). I also wonder if it's because he was a young man when nuclear buildup began, and not in the position of comfort and delusion that Trump was in.

William Hurt was capable of ugliness, as Marlee Matlin has written about. He was also a wonderful actor and, in the '80s, one of the most gorgeous men ever to be captured on film. Really thrown to hear he's passed away.

So sad to hear this...I was very lucky to have Sesame Street, and characters like Luis, helping me when I was growing up.

I'm surprised Faux News let Jennifer Griffin on to debunk talking points. I hadn't thought about it until I saw a few comments earlier saying that what this propaganda likely means is that Russia is going to begin using chemical weapons in Ukraine, and much of the media, along with the GOP, are going to claim it's Ukraine attacking itself. So heinous.

More of the propaganda being pushed and slowly heading into mainstream discourse (Qanon is also all over this). This account posted various tweets about this today and how quickly it's spreading.

Another example of how tone deaf William tends to be (even more than his father these days), and how no amount of glossy family photo shoots are going to hide that, or his inherent lack of charisma.

I was just watching Mork and Mindy yesterday. I had no idea he was still alive. He was one of the best parts of the show.
