Lisa was gone, yes. I think someone said Wendy just vanished, and it was left open whether she'd been killed or not. There was a serial killer on the show at the time - he killed Stephanie. He killed women based on their being named Henderson Women of the Year, or something.

I think someone said his character just sort of vanishes. saynotoursoap also put up an episode with just the three McCleary brothers. Not sure if you got to see that. These episodes are certainly a tour de force. While I think the annoying Suzi and not all that interesting Patty weigh it down a little, there are still some superb moments (I think there's one of Jo looking out a window at the makeshift hospital).

There's a Digest blurb from around the time Wagner was about to start where they mention him crossing paths with Cassie, and CG Kelly, and I think someone else. I'm not sure. I'm trying to remember if there was an interview where Karen Moncrieff complained about what the show did to her character.

If SB had gone on I wonder if they would have brought Carrington back. I have asked this before but I read somewhere that they were thinking of bringing Robert Newman on, although perhaps not to be paired with Kim Zimmer. Do you know anything about that? I know he'd already been on once, as Kirk Cranston, so I assume it would have been a new character. They never did have any plans for Jodie/Cruz, they just had them as a brief relationship from long ago, right?

As time passed I got the impression they hoped viewers wouldn't actually know how Charlie was related to the Martins, specifically. There was this weird hybrid where it seemed to be implied that Tad/Charlie/Jake all grew up together and around the same age.

Reginald is controlling everything! I was surprised about Reginald and Allen. I enjoy Reginald here more than on the show (I guess it's down to less ham on the paper). The restaurant is TOPS. Great to see it again.
