EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I know he had other allegations when he first started. People will say "They should have kept Charlie Jones" but I can't imagine this story working with him. All people ever did was laugh and laugh and laugh at him. I can't believe they killed Kathy for this character.

No, although they mentioned that Geoffrey Ewing (Charles on Loving) was on GL. Maybe Debbi would have been involved with his character.- GH: Classic Thread

After The City was canceled, SOD reported that Guiding Light was interested in Roscoe Born, Debbi Morgan, and Darnell Williams, among others.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
It's so surprising, and nice, to see how funny and goofy Cruz and Eden are here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8V0WocDejIo That Carnation Killer story is so stark, whenever I see clips of it. Much more than a lot of serial killer stories. One thing about it is that I always read the story was done to clear out characters, yet only one or two characters were killed, weren't they?- B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles

I think this was another man - wasn't someone blackmailing Nicole over her past and this ended her relationship with Eric.- ALL: They Almost Became
October 1998 Digest - actors who auditioned for DAYS' role of "the man from Nicole's past" included Randolph Mantooth, Forry Smith, and Frank Converse. I guess that was the man who knew she was in porn. I can't remember who played him.- Melrose Place
Didn't she return to stalk Michael? Or was that dropped?- GH: Classic Thread

I hadn't seen that first photo. Beautiful.- Primetime Soaps
I hadn't ever heard of For Love and Honor. The soap magazines didn't seem to cover it. Second Chances was a decent show, it deserved a longer run (I know they had the earthquake damage).- Guiding Light Discussion Thread

I wonder how the actors felt about Margie Impert (as she did seem to fit a working-class background). I never heard about Ford's struggles with the recast. I guess she got over them enough to where Lemay saw her as a big part of the show - AW may have been so different if he'd decided to marginalize her as he did the Matthews. It's interesting to see Lemay and Reinholt both say the audience is underestimated. Now people in soaps seem to think viewers are brain dead.- Melrose Place
Janet Carroll has passed away. I don't remember her, but people who watched all of Melrose's run may, as I think she played Kimberly's mother. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/risky-business-mom-dies-at-328741- Another World Discussion Thread
The whole concept of VW's Rachel seeming in a different class than CF's Ada is fascinating. I wish we could see some of their early work together. By the time of the stuff which is more commonly available (a few late 70's episodes) I totally bought them as mother and daughter.- Another World Discussion Thread
I'm glad they're being put to good use.- ALL: They Almost Became
March 23 1999 Digest, some names being bandied about for Passions. Sydney Penny, Fiona Hutchison, George Alvarez, Sandra P. Grant, Ian Buchanan, Finola Hughes, Kimberly Simms, Thom Christopher, Jack Wagner, Rena Sofer.- Another World Discussion Thread
I also included some fan letters.- ALL: They Almost Became
According to SOD, Sunset Beach wanted Eva La Rue to play Maria, but she wasn't interested. It took them quite a while to find someone.- ALL: They Almost Became
That SOD issue also mentioned a new, 19 year old love interest for JR, named Sydney, with a "heart of darkness". Was this supposed to be Amanda? Gregg would have been great, since he had such chemistry with Hillary B Smith from their ATWT days. But that role didn't deserve a good actor, Sam just sucked.- ALL: They Almost Became
This was in early 2005. - ALL: They Almost Became
