Since this is a soap board, a reaction from a soap actor is going to get more comment. I don't remember any big fury over any comments from someone who wasn't on a soap.

That date rape story with Julie-Ann sounds like the type of topic most soaps won't touch. I guess she didn't stay around long. Pete Callan seemed to be very popular - someone on Digital Spy used his name for a handle.

Biff should have stayed around longer. I don't know where they could have gone with Kathy by the time she left. At least she got a happy ending.

Thanks. Arlo seemed to be in the center of all kinds of drama. The actor is doing those silly pouty faces. How long was he around? I can't believe they cast her cousin to play a guy she kissed. Some of these stories sound a little too cliched or soapy (going from grandson to grandfather, teacher/pupil, etc.)

I think the EON site will have more detailed info, but as far as I can tell, Margo gave April away as a baby, April replaced the dead baby girl of the Cavanaughs, also named April. This is why at one point April kept having visions of her name on a tombstone. I have some synopses from 1978 and 1979 if you ever want me to post any.

I don't even know if it's about that. Akin can still probably win. It's because he has a position which throws a huge spotlight onto their platform as well as the views of Paul Ryan. This also fits into an overriding theme ('war on women') they thought they'd gotten past.

Cameron would be better off with less clothes. The character feels empty because he's all plot and constantly behaves like an ass (leaving his wife and kids for Debbie, cheating on Debbie). They need to break him from Debbie and they need to color her hair dark again. I actually think I could like Dan/Chas if they were written as a real couple. He's a deadbeat but it's nice that he stands up for her, and if the story weren't so rushed, Chas seeing him support her and realizing no man has done that in a long time would be a touching romance. And he's not all that bad looking. He doesn't even look too different from Carl these days. I will always like Carl/Chas but I don't know if you can go back. Lucy Parteger reminds me more and more of Tracey Ullmann doing a character, but I still have a soft spot for Chas. I just can't believe with 6 episodes a week they can't come up with better pacing. Paddy's shaved head terrifies me. He looks like a demonic Humpty Dumpty.
