I was on DS and someone was blaming Corrie for EE's ratings declining again, because Corrie is supposed to be the standard and is bringing everyone down. I had a good laugh over that. If EE is already losing ratings after that big "Who Killed Lucy" hype, that's on them.

That's such a wonderful bit at the end, where he's singing to Julie, plaintively, and then Lee struts in wearing her best bad saloon girl outfit, puncturing the air in the balloon. For all the talk of "soapy goodness," THAT is soap. Everyone looks so beautiful too - Brenda Benet and SSH really take your breath away. I have a feeling if I'd seen that David story I would have hated it. This must have been very early Liz. I always read that she was the only new character brought in during that period who was popular with fans. I wonder if that's true. I guess that was right near the end for Barbara Stanger's Mary.

I really think RHOA might be better off dumping Phaedra, and I've always had a soft spot for her. This is going to get worse and worse even if she isn't charged or blamed for anything.

Lots of things going on here. I like all the character interaction (Cory is very self-absorbed though). The mystery Lisa's involved in fascinates me. Imagine if we're getting another Love/Hudson. Poor Stacey. I guess she had this coming.

In 1986 SOD reported that they were recasting Hope. Clearly it didn't happen.

I think that type of story would have done a lot of damage to their characters, especially Lisa. When did they campaign? Was it after he married Kim? Or before?
