I watched this clip a few weeks back...the conversation Bennett and Lisa have when they decide not to get married is so mature, so layered. I guess this must have still been Marland. And this is one of the few where Kim and Bob have an extended conversation. It's always so weird watching this stuff and remembering they weren't together and were just friends.

Thank you! The nightmare/fantasy was just a stunning piece of work. It was like a music video. You could tell Bill Bell and (I guess Conboy was gone by this time - was this Wes Kenney?) were transitioning into the 80s. You can also see it in Lorie's more conservative, restrained hair and wardrobe. Even her penthouse. Lucas has a nice ass. I didn't think the suicide scene was as effective as the fantasy, but I appreciate the idea, along with the attempts to show Lorie in shock. I also liked the part where she realized Brooks was still in the house. It's such a contrast to now where a character would be in that situation and would just shrug and there would be no aftermath.

If you like reaction gifs you should find some of Jocasta on this season's Big Brother. She was one in a million.

I can't remember a lot of it, but Phillips was there during the trial, then when he was blackmailed into working for ELQ, etc. I think there was a year or a year and a half period of time between the trial and their attempt to make Justus an edgier/villainous character, and he was on the backburner and they were sort of setting up Taggert/Dara/Justus. Early 1998 was when he was working as a mob lawyer and when he finally 'fessed up to killing Damian, I think. (I may have this wrong) I remember being excited about where the character might go when suddenly he was recast with Monti Sharp who, just like his brief ATWT run, was oily and miscast and had chemistry with no one, and the story, if you can call it a story, quickly tanked.

I'm terrified of that group ever being in power, even for 2 years. Once they get power they don't let go. They have too much media power and too much money as it is. Even when they controlled all bodies of Congress and the White House in 2004, the media still made sure the public blamed Democrats.

From what the Soapcentral writeup for Lucas says, he and Lorie got together for a while but when he proposed, she said no, because she knew she wasn't in love with him, she still wanted Lance.

I just realized how they made sure there was no mention of Chase in that Nina episode, other than the few flashbacks that had to include him. I wish they'd kept him around to the end of the story and then given him an exit.

I don't mind it until the rainbow. That's when it starts to seem like they raided some old Sunshine Factory episodes.
