EastEnders: Discussion Thread
A saving grace of the show of late is that the Carters have been laying low. Most of the stories are complete messes, but at least I care about most of the characters involved to gleam some enjoyment.

They should have had Victoria in the church today to see the consequences of what she had done to Ashley.

I hope so, too. I was also hoping Kylie did blame TK and maybe someone like Wendy got hurt in the crossfire so others would blame him, too. I wanted him to suffer, all alone. Maybe that's coming. I had to laugh when Boyd and Harper announced plans to have their wedding near Christmas. These people never learn. I also forgot to ask before, but does New Zealand not have regulations about pregnant women flying. Surely Bella was far too gone to go to Fiji?

Mimi Keene had some bright spots, but after the LIVE week she became increasingly annoying. With Liam gone, is this the first time a Butcher hasn't been on the show since they debuted?

Yeah Carl. Look at what all your fear mongering about Leyla did to us. We must come up with some sort of punishment. NBA, the best thing about Michael Parr is that while he was trying to become an actor his day job was as a Learning Support Assistant in the Special Educational Needs department at a school. No wonder he had such fantastic rapport with the kid who plays April.

I kind of remember that. He played a recast of Leah's biological father, Billy Parker. Unfortunately, he was a Smithwick hire during the time her stories were transitioning to Kirkwood's. I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be a regular, or at least more prominent, wanting to be a true father to Leah. I think they just said Amy talked him down or merely dropped it altogether.

K.J. Apa has already been signed, and is currently filming, a Hollywood film starring Dennis Quaid and Britt Robertson titled, A Dog's Purpose.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/britt-robertson-dennis-quaid-join-813173 The film sounds horrible to me (lol), however, I can't help but want it to be a success for him. I was always fan and I believe I did say in this thread that he'd be a big star. Here's hoping I'm right.

What I know of Morgan, other than being Nicole's half sister and Kieran killing her, is all in the brief scene of one of the fabulous montages on YouTube, where Kieran and Ash from Home and Away are hanging off of a cliff and Nicole tells the guy with her to let "Ash" fall because he killed Morgan, to which Kieran finally admits it was him. I was shocked that a good character like Nicole was allowed to be so callous in that moment. Speaking of callous, Pania was fantastically vicious to Kylie today. As a rare negative aspect, Clem and Alex's exit felt so abrupt. Clem was never a particular favourite of mine, and the show truly did surprise me by having her actually be hurt, but getting rid of Alex as well seems unnecessary. Plus, it is really odd to have Lucy's apartment, which has always been full of merry-go-round roommates since I began watching, left with her as the only tenant.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
Callum could have worked if he was just some smarmy drug dealer. But to try and make out that anyone would fear his lanky, bony ass is a head scratcher. Has Tina O'Brien always been such a ho-hum actress? I keep hoping she'll wow me, but that hope dwindles significantly by the day.

That new copper was a total babe. The focus on Sandy has me fearing that worst. Betty has left me, Sandy absolutely must remain. It pisses me off immensely that Debbie is such a tw*t about Kerry. Debbie Downer constantly hating fun.

It's bad enough this show ruined Abby by making her a miserable failure like everyone else, but if they do the same with Libby and this secret I'll be so pissed.

Danielle Harold was fantastic as usual, but unfortunately it was obvious DTC didn't give a damn about her at all. I'll miss her a lot. Personally, I did like that Lola admitted she'd forgive Billy, as I believe it was true to their relationship. It would have pissed me off if they left on bad terms.

Brenda went to see him once. It was definitely during Kate Oates' tenure, but I forget if it was before or after Gennie was killed.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
It'd be smart if they brought Terry Jr. to live with Brenda, somehow. I don't know if now is the right time, but certainly at some point. Do you think we'll ever see Aaron's father again and his sibling? Was it ever said if was a boy or girl? Also, random question, but to your knowledge, has Cain ever killed anyone?

When they showed up it took me a moment to recall who they were. But that's how I like children to be. Very rarely seen is usually the right way to go.

It was hard for me to care about Tracy for a long time because she never seemed genuine, even when Val saw that her ex had clearly been abusing her. But the Andy story helped her immensely in my eyes. I also thought Amy Walsh was really good when she poured her heart out to Jimmy about why she made the porn. Still, this Leyla news feels like such a reprieve, others less than her dying won't bother me.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
How alive is she? I've learned from Kirkwood disasters that people could still drop off after the fact. Still, I do hope the same and it would prove my (very much) earlier belief that Leyla is too much of a Kate Oates favourite for her to bite it. What made you come around with Tracy? I don't dislike her at all, but I always thought it was an odd decision to bring her back after she left town.

Jamie Borthwick has already proven himself. He was fantastic when Shirley confronted him over Heather's murder and when he found out Billy's role in Jase's death. And of course, there's that iconic scene of him rapping 'Lose Yourself." LoL

I loved Charlie until the nonsensical, random Roxy affair. He could easily have been a great leading man on this show, but DTC pressed self-destruct with the quickness because he can't comprehend that characters have actually evolved since he was last on the show. It's sad he never saw Charlie as anything but a plot point. Declan Bennett deserves better and I wish him all the best.

Margaret was annoying shoving herself as if she had never left. What most annoyed me though was where she thought the remotes should go. How the hell did it make any sense to keep them so far away from the TV? That's grounds for divorce! LoL However, the actress was great when she and Mo had that big argument. And yes, I'm sure she'll be working for Shorty in the next couple weeks. Pania is going to rot in hell and I can't wait to see TK get burned in the process. I'm actually surprised Clementine has managed to stay so quiet about all of this. Surely that girl will end up singing like a canary to someone soon enough.
