  1. I think Dr. Jackie is the type of woman that would REALLY get under Nene's skin and that's what the show needs. I'm sorry, but Nene was a bore this season because nobody was on her level. Even if they bring back Marlo, they still need to look for someone to spar with Nene. Marlo, the return of Kim and Dr. Jackie or Simone from this show would be perfect for RHOA.
  2. Yes gawd! I find I love Quad now because she owns who she is. From episode one she isn't fronting and acknowledges that she's a work in progress. I appreciate that about her. Mariah and Toya are beginning to drive me insane with their phoniness. It reeks of insecurity and it's no surprise they butt heads since they're so similar. Dr. Simone is my absolute favorite though. Shame she didn't replace Phaedra on RHOA. She is perfect for this type of show. She seems to have her life together, doesn't take things too seriously and has an interesting family life as well as work life and interesting relationships with the ladies. She gives a mean talking head too! Love her!
  3. I think Kim's show fails in that it's a half hour and it should be an hour. I bet that can be a bit confusing for the fans. I don't think it's doing horribly though. It's doing well enough and it might go up.
  4. I think Kenya may have been perceived as too fake, which could get her fired. And not fake in a materialistic way, but in an "acting" way. I know that's what I found annoying about her. They need to dump Kenya, bring back Kim full-time and bring on Marlo as a full-time housewife and let the sparks fly.
  5. I found most of season two to be a little slow, but I LOVED season one and season three so far.
  6. I'm still re-watching this series, currently in season five and I have a completely new appreciation for Melrose Place and this fantastic cast! This show has just one of the greatest primetime soap casts ever and I include all of the late additions as well. Hell, even Traci Lords, a fricking porn star, worked in the role they gave her. I just can't get over how fun this show is! It feels so mature, but young and fresh at the same time. I love the way they handled the business storylines and were able to bring together such diverse people and professions and it made sense. Even for the bad parts, I don't think anybody could pull Melrose Place off today. One huge disappointment though, is the lack of a proper exit for Daphne Zuniga. I don't think she gets enough credit for saving this show. I feel like the arrival of Jo is what kept the show on the air long enough for Heather Locklear to make any kind of impact. I enjoyed her in season four once she got over the victim complex they had her in, but towards the end she was isolated in story and didn't get a proper exit, just Matt saying that she moved. She deserved a big exit arc similar to what Kimberly received. Speaking of Kimberly, WHY DID MARCIA CROSS HAVE TO LEAVE?! I never realized how fabulous she was until now and I'm dreading her exit. Everything from her chemistry with Thomas Calabro to Doug Savant to all the different female cast members, she was just perfection. Marcia Cross deserved an Emmy for this role. Now that I'm a good way through season five I must give props to Lisa Rinna. Out of all the newbies, she's the one that catches my eye. She fits in well and has a nice mysterious air. I also love how sexy her outfits are, even when they don't show much skin. Seeing her in a well-fitted role like Taylor makes me miss her acting.
  7. If she brings that "stick up my ass' attitude to Beverly Hills then I think they would all give it to her. I liked her better in season one, but she reminds me of Adrienne this season. Not a fan at all.
  8. Before I go into RHOC I must say, ATL's reunion was boring overall. It had some nice moments, but it couldn't touch the season one or season four reunions. Kandi and Cynthia had no storylines so they were useless, Kenya couldn't provide any good comebacks so it was easy to shut her down and even Nene didn't do enough during the season to have a big enough presence. It was decent, but I definitely don't think this season had the same quality as season four. I hope Kim returns next year and also Marlo. As for OC, I'm watching faithfully, but I have a hard time seeing how Alexis is the devil they make her out to be. She is an idiot, but she doesn't seem mean spirited in the way that the other ladies are. I also think Heather is SO lucky she's on this show because her humorless ass would've been eaten alive on RHOBH. I hate everything about her attitude and how important she is to the storylines. Tamra and now Heather are reasons I don't enjoy this franchise as much anymore.
  9. Marlo would've given Kandi the blues about Todd if she was around lol.
  10. Now that Marlo is back I will for sure be watching Nene's spin-off!! I had faith this would happen! Hopefully it's going to be the first step in getting her back on RHOA. You could tell this is something Nene wanted and I'm glad she was granted her wish. The show needs strong women to interact with Nene and Marlo was a good choice. Perfect friend for Nene and legitimate foil for the others.
  11. Kenya's fake drama is why I didn't like this season. Kim leaving murdered this series. Without Kim and Sheree there was nothing interesting for Nene. She doesn't have an interesting bond with any of the current ladies. I wish Kim had stayed so we could've seen their reconciliation during the season, which I feel would've happened.
  12. I need to see more episodes to decide who I believe. Toya has been messy, but Mariah has been bad too. I find her to be worse than Quad because she always seems to think she's right and takes responsibility for nothing. That wine tasting scene with Mariah and Kari was terrible. I didn't feel that Kari was out of place and Mariah just was mad her friend wasn't invited and kept hitting below the belt. As I continue to watch the ones that I find myself REALLY liking are Jackie, Simone, Kari (yes, not a typo!) and Quad. They are all harmless, fun and unique personalities. Toya and Mariah are both haters and think too highly of themselves.
  13. I think Peter is a sexy piece of chocolate.
  14. Well Nene has said she doesn't like LIsa, probably due to her friendship with Kyle Richards. Perhaps that has something to do with it.
  15. I haven't watched it yet, but I think it would've been better with a competition style format instead of different people each week. Similar to Vanderpump Rules. Have Kandi as the host and mentor, but also have judges to showcase different styles.
  16. I forget the exact ratings, but Kandi's spin-off was a HUUUGE flop. I recall it premiered with a .03 in the demo and around 600,000 viewers. I wonder how Kim's show will fare. It's already has a first season that maintaining it's strong ratings, so we'll see.
  17. I watched the first episode of this season and I don't like Heather. I liked her in the beginning, but she seems so stuck up and like she wants to be Queen Bee. I'd love to see her on Beverly Hills, where she'd get eaten alive.
  18. I actually liked her ignoring Porsha and making her irrelevant. The most important thing Kenya said is that she is the reason Porsha is anything on this show and that's true. I look forward to the next two parts, which I feel will help unravel the mirage Porsha was selling about her pitcher perfect marriage.
  19. I know many were going crazy over ATL's reunion, but I wasn't impressed. They had a lot to live up to after season four and I found it entertaining, but like this entire season it was mostly just "meh." Last season had better fashions and even at the end of part one (which I just finished) you had so much crazy drama. The way everybody shaded Sheree was legendary, the fight between Nene/Sheree, Phaedra giving it to Sheree, Neverland and then Marlo perfectly slaying everybody in her way, looking fabulous while doing it. I found myself disappointed in many of Porsha, Phaedra and Kenya's comebacks, but Phaedra did the best job of trying to keep up. Overall, this group of women doesn't have as good chemistry. This unit leaves Nene with nothing to do which is why this season didn't work for me. I enjoy Kenya, but she's obviously acting and not being herself. I miss Nene having Sheree and Kim and all the history so she could go crazy on them. Whatever happens next season needs a Nene-centric shake up. Someone who can be a more interesting friend than Cynthia and a new rival for her. She needs to be at the forefront. I also will never stop wanting Marlo back.
  20. With New Jersey I think it's smart to keep the cast the same if only because the show is so successful. However, in order to truly grow they need to add at least two new women to give the show a new dynamic. Eventually people will get tired of the same ole same ole and they need to have a backup plan BEFORE things go haywire. This season they should've for sure had Jennifer Dalton and even Kim D as official new housewifes just to give us something fresh. If I see a trailer with mainly just the main five and it's the same ole same ole, then I know I won't be tuning in full-time. Last season I think I watched only five episodes here and there.
  21. Yes, streaming works too. I just don't understand why these people choose to sit and do nothing with these shows when they have several outlets for them with Netflix and Hulu around. Netflix has no soap section, yet Warner Brothers hasn't tried to add the 80s soaps, Peyton Place is an option and then of course daytime soaps. I really don't understand it.
  22. As a whole I think the entire series is very watching (starting with Jo's arrival of course), but my least favorite was probably the 7th season. I didn't mind them paring down the cast, but the way it was done didn't work. I missed Taylor and I found Megan boring, same for Kyle's brother. I HATED the Eve story as well. It was watchable, but felt dull. I also was never a big Lexie fan so she wasn't enough to keep me interested.
  23. Brandi would've been a housewife whether she appeared at the reunion or not. She was heavily featured in almost every episode of that season and was well received.
  24. I knew K Michelle was trash during season one, but most people seemed to buy her act. I'm glad it looks like her true colors are out here. It's shocking to me that so many people went on and on about how old Karlie Redd was. K Michelle is actually 25 and I don't care how old Karlie is, she looked more 25 than K Michelle's 40 year old looking ass.
  25. They probably will spin it that either Teresa is responsible for the guy being there or she wasn't helping them and therefore she agreed with his comments. The only problem with Kandi's looks is in the way she dresses. She cleans up nicely at most events, but (and the same is true for Phaedra) her clothes are generally too small which makes her look bigger than she is. I actually think Kandi is very cute. Her hair can be hit or miss though. As for Phaedra, I find that I fell out of love with her this season. The feud with Kenya was too nasty and I don't like Phaedra that way. She can be as sexual as she wants, but the mud-slinging was ugly IMO. I don't want her making those ultra personal insults, I feel she is smarter than that. I prefer things like her previous showdowns with Nene and Sheree where she put them in their place in a classy and sassy way.
