Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
By the time Nene was on Wendy Williams in the summer, she'd already been spotted filming with Kenya. I think she was just being coy. I remember at the time there were pictures with Kenya with all the women pretty much, but everybody kept denying it. I think they were just trying to keep it an open secret since Bravo usually doesn't like to announce stuff in advance. I'm sure it'll be the same once New Jersey starts filming the public events. We probably won't have a good idea of that cast until the Posche fashion show in December.

New Jersey was tired, but this might be worse. I can't imagine how they'll fill time without Kim. Porsha is just a waste of space and Kenya is too over the top. I don't feel like there is a good mix. Nene is playing nice with everyone, Cynthia is irrelevant, Phaedra is Phaedra and Kandi doesn't do much. I think this season will end a dud. Next season I fully expect Kim back and probably two new housewives.

I find it hilarious that we now find out Porsha was a Trillville video ho when she's been using her family's legacy to portray this Atlanta Socialite. I doubt she's involved in that charity or that she even went to college.

The spin-off is happening, period. It did too well for them not to renew it, considering how poorly so many of their other shows are doing. Her In Touch article where she announced her exit confirms it. Kim returns for second season: http://entertainment.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981772370 TMZ also confirmed it: http://www.tmz.com/2012/09/29/real-housewives-atlanta-kim-zolciak-spin-off-reality-show/

But that doesn't explain why Kim says she'll be back next season or that these same people will be producing her spin-off.

I'm sure it'll be natural because in the real world people of all races interact together, but on these shows I do think it's been intentional to keep them separated, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out on screen. With Jersey they've always tried to stick the Italian's together, ATL is all black and they constantly make race an issue with the one white one, with DC the same thing happened with race constantly brought up only because one is black. I hope that Gia just slips right in and is allowed a story that doesn't depend on her being "different." Right now I've been re-watching NYC from the beginning and I'm remembering how much I missed. Originally I didn't see most of season 2 or 3, so a lot of this is new for me. I'm shocked at how crazy Kelly was from Day One and how quick Bethenny was to notice that. The look on her face is priceless in Kelly scenes. Kelly is truly insane. I don't know where they found this woman. I also didn't remember how harsh Jill was from the beginning. I know "mean girl," "bully" and "high school" are overused on these shows, but those words suit her. She is VERY high school. How many times did we hear "Is she my friend?" "What about my feelings?" "Don't interact with this person because I don't like her." And the list goes on. She is pretty hard to take. Even in season two you can see how she ultimately destroyed the show. This fued with Bethenny was *so* miscalculated on her and LuAnn's part. LuAnn is lucky it didn't backfire on her more. Also, the most embarassing part of the first two seasons is how horrible Alex and Simon were treated. I understand that they are a real like Herman and Lily Munster, but the others were CRUEL to them. Nothing was off limits: their kids, their home, the area they live in, how much money they have, their looks or even Simon's job (which IIRC, Jill had him fired from). In the beginning I didn't see Alex or Simon do or say anything negative, but they really weren't given a fair shot. Yes they were social climbers, but they're harmless and both seem hard working and like a loving family. I'm looking forward to see Alex growing a pair in season 3. I also believe that everybody being nicer to them was a calculated move. Jill needed a new ally, plus as time went on they became more popular. Most of all, the most interesting thing is what could've been. Had Jill and Bethenny not fallen out I truly believe she would've done another season. If not as a full housewife, making appearances. I also think that Jill, the poison of this series, ruined things for Alex. She got caught in the crossfire with the other insane ladies and shouldn't have been fired. Re-watching, I miss what she brought to the show even more.

I do find it interesting that there will be what looks like a black housewife. Is her husband black or white? It'll be interesting to see how they blend. My guess is that it will be completely natural. I hope it creates a trend.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
For those happy and sad about Kim's exit from RHOA, she's posted on Twitter she only exited for this season due to her pregnancy. She'll be back next season full-time. My guess is that she'll exit in Dec 2nd episode, her spin-off will premiere while RHOA is still airing, she'll appear at the reunion and then back to status quo next year.

Examiner are fan written articles. I trust In Touch. I expect at least one HW not to return and we'll have at least two new housewives. I know they wanted Caroline back, but we don't know if she'll accept.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yes. She's not clever enough to be with these ladies. I will say that I DO NOT think Nene will leave. The New Normal could be canceled at the end of the season and right now she's getting two big paychecks. She'd be stupid to leave RHOA right now. Especially now that the show is around 22 episodes. She's basically getting double and doing half the work since it's not that hard filming a reality series. I do think that she'll continue to take a more passive role in the drama, but she'll be around. This season would've been perfect if Marlo were still around. I know she was at the party where Nene was dressed like Grace Jones, so it'll be interesting to see if she's on screen.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think it's obvious Porsha wanted to be friends with Kenya and at least use her to get a foot in the social scene. I don't feel it was about the event, so I don't feel she meant for Kenya to be a big draw. It was all about Porsha and what she wanted and added a friend to her circle.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I don't think Kenya came off bad at all this episode. She was fabulous. Porsha was VERY immature and an harassment to her charity. She was more concerned with her gifts and throwing a party for herself than raising money. Kenya had every right to be upset about the Miss America thing because her name was being used to promote this charity and Porsha should've done her research. It was completely unprofessional. She should've known the title and the year OR DON'T BRING IT UP. Porsha in general was a total idiot. And I wonder who came up with the idea to put "picture" in her tagline when she pronounces it as "pitcher." Just a Rich Hoodrat Valley Girl.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Kenya is a hot mess that I enjoy, but still not as interesting as Marlo or Sheree. Porsha seemed just as blah as I expected. She needs to take that marble mouth Minnie Mouse speak to Basketball Wives. She can't hang with these ladies.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The first season of NYC was exciting for what that show is. To me, it felt like a season long casting session or pilot. We truly got to see them meet, get to know each other and see how their real lives were before it got a reality show makeover for season two. It is so interesting seeing all the seeds get planted. Lots of juicy moments with all the women, especially in retrospect. Watching LuAnn knowing what I do now is so fascinating.

The latest episode of RHOM was a classic. Only thing I HATE is Elaine/James. He seems so desperate for screentime and the way he attacks Marysol seems so aggressive.I LOVED the dinner party! Elsa owned this episode and Ana is back on my radar now. I also must say how GORGEOUS these women are. I've said it before,b ut their style is flawless. Joanna and Adriana looked better than they have all season. Karent had her best look of the season. Marysol always picks strong clothes. Ana's look was different, but conservative and she pulled it off. Lea was simple and gorgeous in black as well. The best dressed though, would have to be Elsa. She looked FIERCE in her party outfit. I've been re-watching RHONY and it's so interesting seeing how natural the show is. It took 4 episodes for Alex to meet LuAnn and she interacted with other wives starting with episode 3! These days they'd create any number of "events" for the ladies to immediately meet up at. Here we get to see their true lives before we see their friendships develop. It's also interesting being able to see everybody's REAL friends hanging out with them, prior to the girls becoming a group. This is a VERY strong first season and the chemistry is very strong. I remember Jill not being as toxic in season one, but you definitely see the signs of whats to come. Her treatment of Alex from day one is very rude. It's obvious she doesn't like Alex because of her lack of money and status. Then she seemed upset that LuAnn liked Alex in the beginning. Jill's feud with Ramona is also odd. Jill admits she doesn't run in the same circles as Ramona, but is upset that Ramona didn't invite her to a dinner party. She THEN drives by the house to see if LuAnn went! That is so stalker crazy. Then to run out of the Luca Luca show because she has to sit behind Ramona. She's such a viper. It's nice getting to see the ladies before they became so polished. I'm going to re-watch ATL and New Jersey's first seasons as well. For Jersey I know I won't survive more than the first season, but I look forward to re-living ATL and NYC's entire runs.

The Madonna Thread
I got to see her in Houston and this was truly one of the best concerts I've ever seen. This was by far her best tour. It flowed well and the setlist was pretty much perfect. I only wish she'd actually sung more of She's Not Me as it's one of her stronger tracks from Hard Candy. I definitely think anybody who can go see Madonna needs to do it at least once.

VANDERPUMP RULES: Premieres January 7th!! Supertrailer: http://www.bravotv.c...anderpump-rules Lisa is just owning Bravo. These ladies are going to be sick lol. Can someone help me with Taylor? What happened to her? She looks so much worse. Her lips look bad, her face looks puffy and she looks like she has a bad spray tan. She looks kinda monstrous. How can she afford this plastic surgery if she's broke, has several law suits and has no job?

I think there might be a chance for Caroline returning as well. I know unlike Kathy, they did offer her a contract. Plus when Caroline was on WWHL she was talking about mending fences with Teresa, which would obviously be her next storyline. I don't think Bravo will just let her go, they'll try to keep her around.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
New York is the series I think makes most sense for a black housewife, but I do recall an article where several black women were offered spots on Beverly Hills (including Lela Rochon), but they all turned the show down.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
New Jersey needed a revamp so I'm really interested in seeing how it's next season goes. I even think the most recent season needed a revamp and could've been saved by adding at least ONE new person so there would be a chance of a new storyline other than the extreme focus on Teresa vs Everyone. Next season Jacquline and Melissa need a true story instead of being focused on Teresa. IMO that's the sign of a boring housewife, when they spend all their time hating.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
Okay I've continued watching and am around the beginning of October. It's watchable, but I still don't think the show is very good. Some strong actors are holding it up, but the younger characters don't have a patch on the Bryan Kirkwood people. I do enjoy Brendan and at least what I've seen so far doesn't seem to glorify him. I'm interested in seeing where his relationship with Cheryl goes now that she knows he's a murderer. As long as they don't put him back with Ste (even for a one night stand), I can deal with their relationship. After his accident, it's obvious Ste would come running to his side, but I thought Ste came off a bit sad. Obviously he loves Brendan, but he came off very much like a battered woman who knows it's wrong, but it's hard to break ties. I found it an interesting story at this point. The McQueen's seem totally dead. Who is Phoebe and why is she with Jacqui? I hate her and I don't like what's become of Jacqui. She's so mismatched with Rhys and the fued with Cindy doesn't really work since they're fighting over a guy neither should be with. Mercedes is a total disaster. Stabbing herself?! What was the thought behind that? Mitzeee a character that has always failed in execution. Riley is dull as dishwater and I can't wait until he dies. His family is one of the worst in Hollyoaks history. Bart McQueen is another one who has to go. I wish Michaela was still around as I feel there is hope for that character. What did she do her most recent return? And where is Carmel? They keep referring to talking to her on the phone, but I haven't seen her. There is a character named Ally that I can't stand, but I did enjoy George more than I did when he first arrived. He seems cuter as well. I LOVE Callum from what I've seen. Other than that, the younger characters mostly suck. The show doesn't seem hopeless at the moment, but it needs a lot of help to be viable.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think Thursdays are just a bad night period, but the first Thursday episode after the Sunday airing had good ratings. Overall, had it launched it's first episode after New Jersey, we wouldn't be having this problem. The series would've had Beverly Hills size ratings by the time of the slap episode. Bravo botched the scheduling with this season terribly. Overall, the network is making lots of poor decisions. Top Chef usually gets between 2-3 million viewers and I think this season premiered with less than 1 million viewers. They need to can whoever is promoting and scheduling these shows because many are good shows. I just finished catching up and as much as I love it, Miami was a total dud this week. I almost fell asleep. I also didn't enjoy the dinner at Alexia's. The stuff with Karent is beginning to grate because as others have said, she hasn't done enough to merit the level of hatred. Joanna is unwatchable and a disgusting person to me. Ana is putting me to sleep at this point and because nobody there knows what really happened, Adrianna ends up looking bad as well. The only thing I enjoyed was Lea and Lisa's storylines. They need to figure out a way to give us more Marysol. I love her as well. Beverly Hills was good this week, but I did think there was too much Taylor and not enough Lisa (or Brandi). I don't understand why, even going into next week, Taylor keeps bringing up a comment Brandi made that she didn't hear. She's not even repeating it correctly and everyone she's brought it up to has blown it off. She is making herself look like and idiot and she can't use the drunk excuse (which I'm sure is coming for next week) when she started this sober. Yes she doesn't like Brandi and Brandi doesn't like her, but this isn't the way to get payback. She's such a loser.

See, I haven't watched yet, but I doubt I would consider it boring. I feel like New York and Beverly Hills are more natural shows and you have to watch the progression throughout the season to make a judgement. The ladies are more mature and have stronger relationships (or attempt to) so you aren't going to have nonstop drama from the beginning. I prefer a housewives series like that.

Before you talk about the hole between my legs, measure yours! For that alone she has my support. And I don't think she was that scripted. She had a couple zingers, but overall she was dropping gems left and right. The conversation was too crazy to be scripted. No matter what the ladies threw at her, she had a response and I LOVED it.

Marlo was far from basic. She always knew the right thing to say to those ladies and get them worked up without breaking a sweat. I just loved everything about her. I also feel she gave the best reunion performance in Atlanta history. She was dropping gems left and right and looked FABULOUS! When Kandi tried to throw shade her response was, "Well you just moved out of your old ass house. I had to take my heels off to keep from touching the ceiling." Kandi exploded obviously lol. She was just on point. Or when Andy asked her about telling the girls to "check my charges" and she responded by saying she's still working on her etiquette. I don't understand how anyone can not love Marlo. She fit in so well. And she's still friends with these ladies. I've seen lots of tweets and appearances with Nene, Kandi and Cynthia.
