Meanwhile, Kim confides in Lisa that she made nice with Susan. Lisa questions her, citing that Kim's not one to go down without a fight. Kim grins and replies that by burying the hatchet with Lisa, she's not only regained Bob's trust, but now, she can also keep a closer eye on Susan without being accused of being jealous. As Luke and Jade drive to the concert, Jade voices her happiness with being able to hang out with her cousin again. She explains that when she went back to repair things with the Taylors, all she did was sulk around in misery; she wasn't happy. Now that she's home, she beams, she can hang out with people that love her for her, not some misunderstood girl from an orphanage like the Taylors think of her. When they pull up to the concert, they can see cars lined up for miles. Luke isn't sure he's ready to be seen in public. He suggests that all his friends from Oakdale U will be looking for answers about Noah and he doesn't feel like saying that name ever again. Jade pats him on the back and assures him that he doesn't have to.

Alison and Aaron take a seat inside the concert. Alison tells Aaron that she invited Casey, but he didn't feel like coming. Aaron says how hard it must be for him to have the one girl in his life walk out on him. Alison takes it the wrong way, thinking he's talking about her leaving him in Seattle, and starts to leave. Suddenly, Casey appears down at the bottom of the rafters. Alison motions him up and suggests that he have a good time; tonight is going to be fun. Casey denies he's ready for fun since Sofie just walked out on him for one of his good friends. Aaron promises that he'll be fine; just sit back and enjoy the music.

Jade and Luke find an empty section towards the top and sit down as the band starts to play their first song. Luke talks about how great it is that Oakdale U supports this teen summer concert tour. Not only do students get to hear great music, but the funds raised go towards his computer systems program along with others. Jade finds someone staring out of the corner of her eye and sees Kevin start to approach. Almost a warning, Jade mumbles Kevin's proximity to Luke, who surprisingly invites Kevin over. Kevin seems to be alone until a girl comes and sits beside him. Luke brushes it off and hopes Kevin has a great time. The two barely talk, but Jade can sense something silent going on between them.

Jack follows Carrie home as she pulls into the drive at Carly's. She thanks Jack for being so protective, but blushing, tells him she can handle three steps to the porch. Jack goes in anyways and informs Carly that Carrie had someone following her in Oldtown. Carrie shrugs it off as nothing and pretends like Jack is overreacting. Later, Noah comes by and requests to speak with Carrie. At first, Carly almost closes the door on him, but Carrie stops her and welcome him in. Shamefully, he admits that he treated her wrong. He should have never led her on like he did that night. He was drunk and upset and his head was somewhere else. Carrie smiles that he doesn't owe her anything, but Noah puts his hand on hers and mumbles that he does. They were having a child together and he acted like she didn't exist. He mutters that he knows what it feels like to feel abandoned and he would have changed alot if he could. After Noah leaves, Carly applauds Carrie on her gracious acceptance of Noah's apology. Carrie sighs that she knows Noah's mindset is a bit jumbled; she's been there, but he'll have to live with his pain for a long time if he doesn't learn to forgive himself first. As Carrie takes off her robe, she receives a text..."We need to talk. And don't bring the cop. Or you know what will happen".

As the concert comes to a close, Aaron spots Jade, Kevin, and Kevin's female friend waiting for Luke in the parking lot. Jade excuses herself, and the girl too, but Jade stays in ear range as Aaron and Kevin talk. Aaron chastises Kevin for bringing a girl when he knows Luke already thinks of him as a homophobic womanizer. Kevin laughs that the mystery girl is his niece of one year age difference and he brought her to the concert to meet up with her boyfriend who never showed. Aaron apologizes, but Kevin barks that Aaron should mind his own business. He'll tell Luke in his own time, Kevin says. Meanwhile, Luke approaches and asks Jade what's going on. Jade lies and says she doesn't know, almost daring Luke to go find out why his brother and his ex-best friend seem to be in a heated talk. Across the parking lot, Alison drags a drunk Casey to her car and orders him to stay there. She scolds him for getting too drunk and promises he'll regret it in the morning. As Alison goes to find Aaron, Casey unpacks a bottle of sleeping pills he smuggled from an old college friend. He chases two down with a swig of beer and sighs that if drunkenness won't rid his mind of Sofie, perhaps sleep will. Casey passes out moments before Alison and Aaron get in the car. They blame his passing out on all the beer he's had, but when they pull up to his house, they can't wake him up. Frantically, Alison rushes in and wakes up Tom. Alison nervously pants for Tom to come quick....Casey's stopped breathing. While Tom performs CPR, the ambulance arrives to take Casey to the hospital.

After the 4th of July celebration, Lisa urged Kim to seek counseling. The bitterness she still feels over Bob's affair isn't healthy. Kim refused, claiming everything is fine as long as Bob trusts her. Lisa urged her friend to let sleeping dogs lie. Many years have passed since Bob and Susan's one night stand and she needs to let it go before it rots her away on the inside. Lisa comments that Bob has showed her time and time again that his affair was a mistake and yet Kim still seems to hold a grudge against them both. Lisa found it all to be quite disturbing, and sought Nancy's advice. Nancy was shocked at the news, and tried talking to Kim herself. When Kim continued to excuse her own behavior, Nancy urged her to talk honestly with Bob for the sake of their marriage.

Casey found Alison and thanked her for saving his life after the concert. She was shocked when Casey tried to kiss her, and Aaron became irate when Alison told him of Casey's advances. A furious Aaron confronted Casey, who told Aaron that he was only showing his gratitude and Alison took the attempted kiss out of context. Margo was appalled to learn that Gabe sent pictures of himself and Sofie to Casey. She hid the photos from Casey and told Tom how sickening it was that Gabe finds this all comical.

Matchmaker Jade tried to push Luke and Kevin together. Luke continued to be shocked at their impulsive kiss, but found himself replaying it over in his mind. The next time they met, Luke blew off Kevin's apology, accusing him of playing sick mind games. Before Kevin could work up the courage to come out to him, Luke stormed off. Later, Jade broke the news to Luke, along with her belief Kevin's in love with him. After a heart to heart with Lucinda, Luke realized he still has feelings for Noah, in spite of Noah's one night stand with Carrie.

Noah urged Carrie to file a report with the police after being attacked. Carrie accused him of sticking his nose in her life, but Noah insisted he was only trying to make up for his irresponsible jerkdom while she was pregnant. Carrie agreed to file a report to shut him up, but didn't. Noah later overheard Jack and Carly arguing about Carrie and the trouble she could bring to Carly's doorstep if her "stalker" suddenly showed up while the kids were home. Alarmed, Noah went to Jack alone and revealed that Carrie was nearly attacked on the 4th of July. Jack used his pull at the OPD to see if Carrie had filed a report. Both Jack and Noah were stunned to realize she hadn't.

Jack confronted Carly with news of Carrie's latest lie. Carly insisted that Jack was being suspicious to the point of paranoia. Jack blasted Carly for sticking her head in the sand because she sees a similarity to the girl she used to be. He then informed her that "Carrie Whittington" never existed until three years ago, and that's a damn good reason to be "paranoid". Shaken, Carly admitted she knew Rosanna had doubts about Carrie as well, and both suddenly recalled that Carrie once worked as an intern at Cabot Motors in Buffalo. After phoning Rosanna, she had someone fax over "Carrie White"s personnel file. None of the personal information listed could be verified. Carly commented that Carrie's last name could have been changed in marriage, but Jack was skeptical. On a hunch, Jack checked her medical history, and found a doctor from Des Moines, Iowa listed.

Gwen continued to admire Iris' turnaround, while Will worried about being exposed by Stan. He was given a reprieve when Iris received a call about Stan. Iris was listed as Stab's family and the doctor informed her Stan had slipped into a catatonic state the previous night. Concerned about Stan's condition, Iris became curious when Will tried to convince her not to visit him. She went anyway, and a nurse at the jail informed her that Stan was being moved to a private facility. Iris' suspicions grew when she learned Stan was suddenly moved to solitary confinement shortly before the guard found him on the floor. When Iris mentioned it to Gwen and Will, Will's reaction seemed especially guilt-ridden to his mother-in-law. Her suspicions grew tremendously when Will became especially inquisitive about Stan's condition. Will called his mother and she assured him that she had the problem taken care of and all evidence destroyed.

Facing losing her best friends, Katie urged Brad to elope so Henry and Vienna could be part of the ceremony. Lyla hated the idea, and urged Katie not to be so reckless. After her previous large wedding fiascos, Katie stuck with her decision and suggested a Vegas wedding.

While in Canada, Rosanna and Paul searched for information about Cabot's whereabouts. Unable to find anything, Rosanna almost gave up but soon came into contact with a woman claiming to be a former housekeeper for Cabot's deceased adoptive parents. She told Rosanna and Paul that he was doing fine, and some close friends of his parents had been named guardians. Relieved, Rosanna agreed not to see him for his own safety. After saying goodbye, the woman made a phone call and reported that Ms. Cabot was returning to the U.S.

Susan and Michael decided to keep their burgeoning relationship a secret. Dusty spied them in a liplock, and told Emily that her mother had a new boyfriend. Emily blasted her mother for getting involved with a serial cheater with a psycho ex-wife. Alison walked in on the fight and begged them to stop bickering. After the explosive dramatics, Emily packed her bags and Dusty invited her to move in with him. Alison found out and warned Dusty not to lead Emily on by inviting her to move in.

Holden, still concerned about Jade's reappearance, sought Luke's help. Luke tried to find out what happened between Jade and the Taylors, to no avail. Jade later told Lily she felt that Holden was behind Luke's prying questions. Lily scolded him for using their son to do his dirty work, and pressured him to leave Jade alone. Luke apologized to his father for being too obvious with Jade, and Holden vowed to find out another way. Later, Jade came face to face with Holden and promised him that if she brings up her past, she'll never forgive him. Willing to take the risk, Holden invited Mrs. Taylor to Oakdale in an effort to find out what Jade's keeping from him.

Still unsettled by Gwen's words, Carly tries to clear her head by going for a run. Unable to focus, she gives up halfway through the park, finding a spot near the water's edge to sit. The more she thinks about it, the more annoyed she becomes at Gwen for taking Jack's side. Fuming, she doesn't see Nancy heading her way, until the older lady lays a hand on her shoulder and asks if she needs help. Startled, Carly quickly rises, shaking her head no. Dressed for her power-walk, Nancy gives her a relieved smile. She assumed there was something wrong, since Carly's usually a blur around the park in her running gear.

Jade and Colin take a seat outside Java laughing and joking. Kevin approaches and asks to speak with Jade alone. Kevin confronts Jade about her hostile attitude towards Luke. Luke has been nothing but good to her, he argues. And now, Jade's shunning him because he wants whats best for her. Jade reminds Kevin that he has no voice in the matter and anything that she wants to say to Luke, she'll say on her own time. Later, Jade runs into Noah. Noah starts quizzing her about Luke, which frustrates her even more. Jade hisses at Noah that if he's so worried about Luke, he should ask Luke himself. All the talk of Luke brings Jade to her breaking point and she whips out her phone to call him. "We need to talk", she orders.

Awkwardly, Carly steers around her own problems to Nancy, and admits concern about Gwen and Will, who are going through a rough patch. Nancy pats her arm, assuring her everything will work out the way it's meant to. Skeptically, Carly fears this time there's no way they can rebuild the trust between them. Especially after so long. Sensing there are more personal concerns than her sister's at heart, Nancy confides that even her marriage to Chris Sr. required leaps of faith. Looking back, she's grateful for all struggles they went through. It makes her cherish their time together even more. Spotting two power-walking friends, Nancy leaves with a cheer-filled wave.

Coming through the door of the cottage, Will slings his laptop case on the desk and takes up his usual spot on the couch. Thumbing through the channels on the television, he stops at an E! True Hollywood Story about celebrity divorces. A chill crawls down his spine and Will flashes back to his wife's hateful words. He turns the TV off and decides to scour through the fridge for some leftovers. Picking an old hot pocket out of the door, he closes the refrigerator only to find himself staring face to face with his baby girl. Tenderly, he graps for the picture but becomes startled by a knock on the door.

In comes Paul, reminding Will that there are people in this world besides Gwen and Hallie that care for him. There's a thing called a cell phone, Paul reminds his little brother. Put off, Will barks for him to go. Paul slightly blames Barbara for Will's problems and remembers a time when Will shared that same insight. However, Paul injects his brother with some reality when he reports that blood is always thicker than water. Just like Will and Barbara, Gwen is attached to Iris no matter how many mistakes she might make. He thought Will might realize that loyalty would exist. Will fumes that Paul has no room to talk and orders him to leave. Long after Paul has left, his brother's words still ring in his ears and Will heads off to find Gwen.

Meeting Alison and Dusty at the door, Emily makes a side comment about Susan being upset upstairs. Alison leaves to check on her mother while Emily stays downstairs with Dusty. Dusty begs Emily to give him a chance and reminds her that he did the same thing by forgiving her for holding him captive. In tears, Emily confesses that that's exactly why she can't marry him. Across town, Nancy confronts Kim at WOAK about her behavior regarding Susan and reprimands her for being so cruel. Kim finally sees just how muchshe's hurt Bob, Susan, and Lisa with Nancy's words of wisdom and breaks down into tears. Meanwhile, Lyla learns from Brad that Katie is headed to meet Doris. As Katie approaches her hospital room, Lyla steps in and cust her off at the pass, warning her she'll only complicate things since Doris thinks Michael's sleeping with her. Katie pushes past her mother and angrily confronts Doris. Hearing Katie's stern and cruel words, Doris goes into convulsions, her monitor starts beeping out of control, and the doctor quickly removes Lyla and Katie from the room. Elsewhere in Canada, Paul and Rosanna decide that they must return to the housekeeper and seek more information. Upon learning that the housekeeper was killed, Paul fears for Rosanna's safety and orders her to return to Oakdale. She refuses, citing that if Paul is going to confront James, then she's coming too. Back from their camping trip, Carly notices Jack wincing in pain and suggests going to the emergency room, but Jack protests. Carly insists on at least going to the drugstore for him. Jack tries to refuse, but Carly smartly suggests he pay her back by fixing lunch. Agreeing, Jack waits until Carly leaves to ask the kids what they prefer---pizza or Chinese. Picking pizza, the three kids return upstairs and meet privately in Parker's room, where Sage excitedly declares their plan a success.

An extremely tired Margo arrives at the hospital, eager to learn what caused Doris's panic attack. Lyla covers for Katie and later, Brad unintentionally informs Margo that his wife was headed for Doris's room when he last saw her. After lecturing Katie and warning her to steer clear of the investigation, Margo returns home where Tom reveals the D.A.'s office will probably be handling the case and it should make its way to court sometime next week.

Alison tries to comfort her mother's heaving sobs, but can't seem to take her mind off Michael. Susan informs her daughter that she confronted Michael earlier and he just looked so innocent. He genuinely thought Susan would believe his lie, she guesses. Back downstairs, Emily reveals that she's always been one to go off the deep end every now and then and do some miserable things to people she truly cares for. Dusty excuses it and offers to be there to keep her sane. Both sort of chuckle and Dusty finally breaks the silence by informing Emily he's giving her 24 hours to answer or he's out of her life forever.

Jade waltzes up to Lucinda's guest house and beats on the door. Luke invites her in and asks for more information about her sudden hesitance regarding Colin; remember that this was a guy she was head over heels for just a week ago, he scoffs. Jade carefully explains that Colin keeps asking about how wealthy Lily is and why Rose never dipped into that money. It's kind of creepy that he knows so much, she grumbles. Unsettled, she turns the subject to Luke and Kevin. Luke explains that they slept in the same bed after the grand opening of Donovan's but never had sex; they were way too drunk. Jade's happy for Luke and surmises that it won't be long before Noah is a thing of the past and Luke and Kevin can finally be together.

After stopping at the drugstore, Carly stops at Java and spots Carrie sitting in a corner booth. She wanders over and says hello before taking a seat. Carrie asks about the kids, and makes a vague promise to stop by and see them soon. Remembering Jack's distrust, Carly subtly discourages it, assuring Carrie the kids will understand she needs to focus on her new job. When Carly leaves, Carrie picks up her magazine, but gets distracted by flashes of her latest romp with Noah. She's pulled back to reality when her co-worker calls and reports that Barbara's in a frantic search for her. Knowing she doesn't have long, Carrie hails a cab and heads back to work, not eager to see Barbara there impatiently waiting for her.

Alison stands in shock and confusion as Casey scorns her for being so evil and hiding the fact that Gabe had been sending him mail reporting on his and Sofie's sex life. Alison denies she did anything of the sort and points the finger at Margo, recalling that she obtained the box from his house. Casey is still furious and asks Alison why she would keep this from him. Just then, Aaron comes in the door and announces he's home. Alison stays quiet in front of Casey, but as soon as he leaves, she goes off on him, accusing him of trying to come in between her and Casey. Aaron's miffed that she's talking like she and Casey are such great friends when they've only gotten close over the past month or so. Aaron lies and says that he found the box, went to take a quick shower, left the box on the table, and that's where Casey found it while Aaron was showering. Alison doesn't buy it and grunts that she's staying with her mother until Aaron realizes what a jerk he really is. Meanwhile, Casey confronts Margo, revealing that he knows Gabe has been sending him letters and photos of himself with Sofie. Margo tries to defend her actions, but Casey yells that by not telling him, she played with his heart. While he runs upstairs to his room, Tom comes in and wants to know what's going on. Margo frets that Casey probably will not ever speak to her again after what she's done.

With both Jack and Carly staring down his neck, Parker lies, trying to convince Carly those clothes got greasy last week when he helped Jack out at the farm. Jack shoots that down; they worked on Emma's tractor over a month ago. Carly tells her son not to bother lying again, they already know he tampered with his father's car, what they want to know is why. Parker refuses and gets grounded until further notice. As they make their way back into the living room, Carly tells Jack it's obvious Parker wanted him to spend time at the house. This is exactly what she didn't want happening. She didn't want to make the kids anxious over their relationship or give them false hope. Jack suggests sitting down and talking with them, but admits he's confused too. One minute, Carly seems to be enjoying herself and the next, she's telling him to get out. Jack suggests they give each other a few days to think things over. "I'll call you," he hesitates before opening the door, only to meet a blank, yet grueling stare from Carly.

Rushing into Memorial, Will staggers through the halls, asking nurses where Hallie Munson is. Just then, Iris appears and hisses that he should really keep it down. They are in a hopsital, she reminds him. Gwen comes out and automatically disapproves of Will's haggard appearance. "What the hell happened to you," she asks. Will fumbles for an explanation, but is cut short by the doctor's emergence from Hallie's room. He tells them that the nurses are taking very good care of her and suggests they get some rest in the waiting lounge until they know more. Will invites Gwen to come with him to get some coffee, but Gwen reminds Will that the only reason she called him over here is because he is Hallie's father. She doesn't want him getting any ideas of a reunion. Will apologizes and asks Gwen if she'll ever forgive him for trying to come in between her and Iris. After all, he only wanted what was best for her; he didn't want Iris screwing her over again. "Nope," Gwen interrupts. "You pretty much did all the screwing up by yourself." Will watches as she walks back to Hallie's room.

Somewhere in Canada, Paul hollers out for his mother to not sign anything. James grabs up the papers and tries to flee in the commotion, but Paul stops him from going out the door and tells Barbara that he didn't want her to sign a marriage certificate. He wanted her to sign away her fortune, along with hers and Paul's powers of attorney. Barbara is repulsed. With that, James smirks and demands Paul let him go or he'll never see Cabot again. Rosanna comes in and orders Paul to let him go, they can lead him to Cabot. Paul yells back at her that James is only bluffing. He doesn't know where Cabot is either. After Paul explains that James took him hostage just to cut a deal and find out Cabot's wereabouts, Rosanna starts to tear up. Furious, she runs out and decides to continue the search all on her own. Back in the bistro, Paul eventually lets James go and snatches the papers that Barbara just signed, ripping them in a rage. James angrily bellows that they all just messed with the wrong person and makes a snide comment about Paul being just like his cowardice mother before storming out.

After Jack escorts Will home, Carly calls by and warns Gwen that her husband has been looking for her. Gwen doesn't know what to do with Will anymore and fears for her safety and for Hallie's. Carly maternally scolds her sister for thinking such a thing; Will would never even think about harming Gwen or the baby. When Jack returns, Carly thanks him for all his effort in making her family at peace again and rewards him with a kiss on the cheek. Later, Jack confides in Holden that he keeps getting mixed signals from Carly. Holden advises his cousin to go after her. The subject of Clark comes up and Holden informs Jack that Lily has asked Dusty to look into it. Jack isn't pleased with the news and wishes Dusty wasn't interfering in such a private family matter.

Dusty knocks on the door at Lucinda's and the two make small chat about Worldwide's tremendous rebound since Craig nearly sank it. Dusty is glad the bastard is dead and gone and has hope that Lucy will return Johnny once she learns of her father's death. Dusty realizes that Lucinda hasn't spoken with Lucy in quite some time and apologizes for being so insensitive. Lucinda changes the subject and asks what brings Dusty by. Dusty reveals that he knows that she knows Clark; and he knows why she wants to keep it under wraps. Lucinda calls his bluff and Dusty reveals that Clark was her childhood sweetheart from her Mary Ellen days in Peoria. Lucinda is shocked and in an emotional rage, she orders Dusty out of her study, but not before striking fear into his heart by forbidding him from telling anyone.

After dinner is over, Bob heads out to the hospital on an emergency page. Kim finds Nancy helping Chris pack his things. She moans that she wishes he didn't have to leave so soon, but her son playfully reminds her that he has a plane to catch. Kim kisses her son goodbye before thanking him for what he's done. The concern he has shown for his parents has helped them tremendously. Chris admits that he's still very worried about them and doesn't want them to seperate over such frivolous things. Kim promises to keep her tongue in check around Susan. As the two get ready to go to the airport, Nancy offers to walk Chris out to the car. With Kim in the car waiting, Nancy touches her grandson's cheek and reminds him just how proud she is of him; and Chris Sr. would be, too. She knows it because she can feel his smile surrounding them right now. Chris and Nancy both choek back tears as Nancy tells Chris that he may have made a mistake in what he did, but he's a better, wiser man now because of it. Chris thanks Nancy and kisses her goodbye before ducking into the car with Kim. Nancy waves as she watches them drive away.

At the hospital, Bob's busy with patients from a bus incident when Chris comes through and says goodbye. Bob remarks how he has forgiven Chris, despite his initial feelings of anger, hurt, and betrayal. Chris disappointedly confesses that he knows he hurt Bob, but if he could change it, he would. Bob tells him that now is no time for regrets; it's happened and now, it's in the past. The father and son share an extremely emotion-filled goodbye as Kim looks on. Susan happens upon them, spots Kim, and groans that she'll come back. Chris stops her and tells her that his mother has something to say to her. "Oh great," she sighs. Kim chokes on her pride and holds out her hand, explaining that she's let a 20 year grudge nearly destroy her marriage and she's ready to send the past where it belongs..in the past. Susan calls her on it, recalling that they called truce months ago before Kim started interfering in hers and Michael's relationship. Kim gives Chris an infuriated look, but he reminds her with a glance why she's doing this by looking at himself and then Bob.

Kim takes her hand and jolts it forward again, asking that this time, they calls a real truce. Never again will the past be mentioned, she swears. She nearly suffocates when spitting out that she acknowledges that Susan is one of Bob's best friends and colleagues and she's not going to stand in the way of that. The past is in the past, she repeats. Finally, a reluctant Susan shakes her hand before dismissing herself from the akward situation. Chris grabs Bob and Kim and drapes his arms over their shoulders, with him in the middle and Bob and Kim on each side. As they walk down the hall, Chris teases, "Now that wasn's so hard was it?" Kim replies, "Oh, the things I do for you, Christopher!" The three laugh as they walk out of Memorial and head towards the airport.

Alison rolls over, pushing the hair out of her face and pulling the cover up over her bare breasts. She giggles like a schoolgirl at the sight of Aaron sprawled out butt naked on the bed. She quickly dresses and softly sighs to Aaron that she's leaving. He does nothing except scratch his chest and groan before finally rolling over. Alison leaves and immediately, reports for work at Donovan's. She soon comes face to face with her mother. Susan informs her that Chris has left town and made his mother call another truce before doing so. Alison's distraught that Chris left town without telling her goodbye, recalling that she wanted to talk to him again. Susan's still baffled by what just happened between her and Kim. Alison admits that maybe, somewhere deep down, Kim cares enough for the survival of her marriage to truly mean it this time. Susan changes the subject back to Chris and asks what he and Alison chatted about. Alison recalls Chris having some wise words when it came to excusing Aaron's wild behavior and jealousy of Casey. "He said that for Aaron to go that out of the way, for him to really be that jealous," she explains, "than it must answer my question I've had for as long as Aaron and I have been together: Am I really good enough for him?" Susan agrees that if Aaron didn't love Alison, he would have never acted that way. Alison smiles at the twisted irony of the situation. Later, Aaron confides in Holden that he thinks he and Alison are on the way to recovery. Holden muses that it might be so, but in order for that to happen, he's going to have to rid himself of his jealousy with Casey.

Holden, Jack, and Lily meet with Dusty, who lies and tells them that Clark's past came up clean. Lily begs Jack and Holden to let this go. Later, Holden runs into Clark and is surprised to learn that he's moving to Oakdale to be closer to Emma. Once Lucinda learns of the development from Holden, though, she doesn't like the idea very much. Across town, Clark arrives at the Snyder farm and gets acquainted with Luke. Clark notices something familiar about Luke and chuckles that he looks just like a male version of his childhood girlfriend.

Paul gives Carrie a cold glance as he passes her in the hallway of Barbara's petnhouse. Noah asks Carrie why Paul takes all that she does from Paul and she admits that she's used to jerks. Ever since she was a small child, all she's had in her life are jerks. The one man that did love her disappeared and she doesn't know where he is. Meanwhile, Paul once again proposes that Barbara cut her losses and let the poor girl go. When Lisa arrives to collect a check for her housing at the Lakeview, Barbara vents to her old friend about Paul's frustration with Carrie and shrugs that she thinks Paul doesn't like her because she had a close connection to James. Once Lisa hears that Carrie was once connected to James, she fears her friend is being too trusting with Carrie.

Rosanna arrives at Old Town to do some shopping with Carly. Carly admits that she thought this might get Rosanna's mind off of things. Rosanna recalls that Cabot is out there somewhere and she won't stop searching until she brings him home to her. Carly reveals that Jack said some very nice things about her to Will the other day. In fact, she muses, she should have just re-ignited things with Jack the second they got freed from that storage shed, but she didn't out of fear for giving the kids false hope of a reunion that might very well end in heartbreak again.

Luke meets up with Jade at Donovan's. Jade explains that they couldn't meet at Java because Colin is working today. As Alison eavesdrops, Jade and Luke formulate a plan to expose Colin as the wolf in sheep's clothing that he is. Luke notices Alison listening and suggests that they use her as a decoy to get to Colin. After leaving work, Alison runs into Casey. The two decide that maybe distancing themselves, but staying friends, might help Aaron's jealousy problem. Later, Alison approaches Aaron and explains that she and Casey have decided to spend more time apart to potentially reduce Aaron's jealousy. She's shocked when Aaron argues against it and suggests they all three start spending more time together.

Lyla's upset when Michael calls the house looking for Katie. He wants to explain his reasons for leaving town; he just needed some time to himself. Lyla hisses for him not to bother returning to town; Katie and the whole town of Oakdale is better off without him. Brad and Katie make an appearance and Brad suggests that she tell her mother the good news. Lyla's shocked when Katie announces she and Brad are expecting, and fakes enthusiasm for the couple. Later, with Brad nowhere in sight, Lyla reveals that she knows just what Katie's doing...and she won't allow it. When Katie puts up a fight, Lyla finally comes clean and tells Katie that her cancer isn't back; she only said that for her own selfish reason: to keep Katie from leaving her.

We made it to 200, guys!

    -------------------------------------

Through a visit with Lily, Carly discovers that Carrie is now living with Noah in Lucinda's guesthouse. The two ladies discuss the fact that Carrie's past remains a mystery to pretty much everyone in Oakdale. Whatever the case, James must have been holding something pretty big over her head for her to work for him, they conclude. Lily changes the subject to Jack and Carly, and Carly reveals that she thinks Jack might want to make another go at it, but she's not sure if either of them, not to mention the kids, are ready for such a big step.

Gwen answers the door and finds Will on the other side. She bluntly asks if he's had anything to drink and Will counters that he hasn't had a drop since his run in with Jack. It was Jack that made him think about what he was doing to his family, and he apologizes. Will plays with Hallie while Gwen hears about Will getting fired from the bookstore. Iris overhears and thinks that it would be nice to have Will around to spend more time with Hallie. She explains that she needs some work done around the house and kindly offers him the job. Gwen resentfully eyeballs her mother as Will graciously accepts the generous offer.

Barbara returns home from her businnes trip out of town and sees Carrie's room is empty. Baffled, she phones her. Confused, Carrie replies that Paul had told her that she was fired and had to move out. Barbara scoffs that she did no such thing and tells her she's welcome to return as soon as she can; they need to meet with some top names in the business tomorrow to discuss the new line. Hanging up, Barbara sets off to confront Paul, who denies he told Carrie to move out. She must be making that up, he suggests, to drive a rift between mother and son. Barbara yells that Paul is just like his father: deceitful, cunning, and ruthless. After she's left, Paul gets a call from Rosanna, requesting he come with her to meet the private investigator.

A few minutes later, Paul walks into the office of the private investigator and finds Rosanna pacing the floor. She shamefully admits that she's losing hope for Cabot's safe return day by day. The P.I. comes out of his office and thanks them for coming; he thinks he has some big news. He found a couple in Arizona that says they've seen a man around town with a child matching the picture of Cabot that Rosanna provided. Rosanna cries with excitement as Paul pulls the P.I. aside. Threatening, Paul offers to serve him his head on a platter if this lead doesn't check out and he's left to console his friend after yet another false lead. Paul asks to see the photo of Cabot that he has in his file. The P.I. hands him the photo, showing an infant Cabot shortly after birth. There's a hand holding him in the corner of the photo, which Paul assumes is Rosanna's hand.

The camera zooms in on the hand in the photo and zooms out to reveal a real life hand toting the same image of an infant Cabot. A teardrop falls and the photo gets tucked back inside a manila enevelope. The camera pans out to reveal that it was Carrie holding the photo. Wiping her tears away, she hides the envelope in her purse and gets into bed.

Gwen frets to Iris how uncomfortable it makes her feel to have Will so close, especially when she moved in with her mother to stay away from him. Carly stops by to ask Gwen to watch the kids while she goes out of town for a day on business. After some intense interrogation, Carly finally gives in and reveals that she's actually going to Montana so she can get her head right. Gwen rolls her eyes and sarcastically giggles that Carly can't seriously be running away again. That's what got her in this position in the first place, she says. Carly takes offense and leaves, later running into Emma. The Snyder matriarch echoes the same sentiment. For years, Carly's been in this same routine: when things get to be too much or too confusing, she leaves town, and returns to find a whole new chaos. Maybe staying put is the best solution. Just like Emma recently discovered, she counsels that running away isn't always the best thing to do.

A few days later, Jack comes over to Carly's to return Sage's backpack. When he makes a joke about their fishing trip last week, Carly's reminded of the kiss and scolds Jack for kissing her in front of the children. Although he maintains that it was just an innocent peck on the cheek, Carly argues that any symbol of affection might give the kids false hope about them getting back together. Tightening his brow, Jack wonders aloud if maybe he's catching the same confusion since he thought that they had agreed on starting over. Perhaps he's running off of false hope too, he huffs. Carly quietly reminds him that they agreed to start over, not get back together.

Aaron and Casey sip cola and grab popcorn by the handfuls, shoving it into their mouths as they both spring up and yell "Touchdown!!" Alison comes in and disgustingly chuckles at what slobs they are. After Casey leaves, Alison thanks Aaron again for trying to be civil. Aaron shrugs that Casey's not as bad as he thought. He was just jealous after seeing how close Alison and Casey had become. He started wondering if maybe people who didn't know them thought that Casey was her boyfriend. That would never happen, Alison explains. Everyone in Oakdale should know by now that she's Aaron's...and only Aaron's. The next day, in Old Town, Luke catches Alison and asks if she's ready to help them expose Colin. Hesitant, Alison starts to backtrack and opt out of the original agreement. Luke begs her, explaining that she'll only have to have a drink or two with the guy; nothing too harmful. Eventually, Alison agress. Later, before Colin goes on the date with Alison, he learns from Jade that Luke is Lily's son. Intrigued, Colin heads off for his date. Soon, Holden sees Alison and Colin sharing a laugh and automatically makes assumptions. While Luke spies his dad from afar and rushes to keep him from confronting Alison in front of Colin, Colin heads off to the bathroom. Following him, Alison overhears Colin reporting to Mr. Taylor that he still hasn't found anything, but he believes Jade's cousin Luke might be helpful in his search.

Carrie still holds onto the photo of Cabot, desperately pleaing with God to help her. Noah comes in and almost catches her with the photo. She reveals that she's moving back in with Barbara. Noah's shocked and acidly, Carrie rhetorically asks if Noah really thought this living arrangement would last. Days later, Barbara welcomes Carrie back into the penthouse and makes Paul apologize for lying. Later, Paul vows to Carrie that he'll be keeping an eye on her. Fed up, Carrie asks how long Paul is going to keep his mother in the dark about the fact that she's Darryl's daughter. Walking back in to discuss designs, Barbara overhears Carrie's statement and stops dead in her tracks. Across town, Rosanna sets off to follow the lead about Cabot in Arizona. She runs into a woman named Kathy, who suggests that she might know more...if the price is right.

Margo comes home and finds out from Tom that Casey's parole officer has a meeting with him in the morning. Starting to panic, Margo wonders what the parole officer wants now. Eventually, after watching his wife in silent panic mode all day, Tom reveals that he knows Margo lied to Casey's parole officer about letting him borrow the car. Margo tries to apologize, but Tom seems more betrayed by the fact that Margo lied than the actual lie itself. After twenty-something years of marriage, he sarcastically grunts, you think they would have worked out the honesty part. Tom also huffs that he can't believe that Margo, an officer of the law, would sacrifice her job like that. Teary eyed, she screams that Tom knows he would do the same thing for Casey...or would he? Tom is hurt by Margo's fierce, emotional questioning of his parenting and storms out. Later, Casey comes home and learns that his mother and father are fighting. Upset that they're fighting over him, he seeks advice from Lisa, who promises to talk to his father for him.

Dusty goes to the Lakeview in search of Lisa, but runs into Emily instead. Emily starts bombarding him with wedding questions. Putting her off for the minute, Dusty calls Lisa's attention from afar and runs to invite her to dinner with himself to discuss possible partnership in Donovan's. Lisa agrees and after eavesdropping, Emily takes it upon herself to tag along on the dinner date.

As Katie packs for her business trip, she tells Lyla that she hopes being away from Brad will give her a chance to figure out how she's going to tell him she's not really pregnant. Katie recalls what Casey told her and cries that he's right; even when he heart is in the right place, she still manages to run off the people most important in her life. At Emma's, Jack explains to his aunt that he's going to visit Delores who has some "emergency". Brad thinks it's odd she didn't mention it when he talked to her just the other day. Jack scoffs that she's probably upset he's making her a grandmother again.

In the kitchen, Carly corners Katie and tries pinning her down on specifics---when she's due, how far along she is. Katie worriedly fidgets, asking Carly how she knows. Carly coyly replies she just heard it through the grapevine. Katie counters that she hasn't even had her first appointment, and doesn't have a firm due date yet. But Carly will be the first to know, Katie hesitantly smirks. Katie wonders out loud why Carly's interested in the first place; they're hardly friends.

Feigning offense, Carly reminds her how they became friends in Montana after Sage's birth. Maybe this baby could repair the friendship. It could even bring Jack and Brad closer, since Brad is excited about being a father, and Jack would love being an uncle. Katie reddens, seeing how the lie is already spiraling out of her control.

Outside, Lily protests with Jade over the phone. She pleads for her niece to come eat with her family. Jade insists that she has to work and plus, being around all the Snyders always makes her head spin. Almost all of them either hate her or have made their own judgment of her. Finally, Lily relents and tells Jade to come by later so they can talk more about Colin. She turns around and enters the house, only for Emma to ask where Luke and Kevin are.

Before Carly can dig any further, Jack interrupts. Katie scurries off, leaving them alone. Seeing the glimmer in her eyes, Jack asks Carly what she's up to with Katie. Carly tells him it's not important. She then asks if he can put off visiting his mother. It won't seem like Thanksgiving for the kids if he's not there. Jack can't cancel his plans, but he was hoping to hear she'd miss him too. Disappointed when Carly stands there mute, he heads up the back stairs to pack. While he's distracted, Carly surprises him with a kiss on the cheek, wishes him a safe flight, and urges him to hurry back to Oakdale.

On his way down, Jack thanks Emma for understanding. Jack glares down Clark before finally walking out. When the kids arrive, Carly informs them that Jack had to go out of town for a little while. Sage whines that they're never going to be a family again. Carly kisses her on the cheek and assures her that they'll always have each other, no matter what.

After settling the kids, Carly calls Rosanna and invites her sister over for some turkey and dressing. Rosanna's much too depressed to be thinking about food; she needs to find her son, she huffs. Carly insists she at least get a to-go plate. After a while, Rosanna shows up and is surprised that Jack isn't there. Carly mutters that he went to see Delores, but should be back soon. Carly apologizes for telling Rosanna she should give up on the search for Cabot. She just knows how James likes playing mind games with her and even from the grave, she can see him giving Rosanna false hope about Cabot being out there somewhere just for a jolly laugh. Rosanna admits that she had her doubts, too, but her maternal instincts have kicked into overdrive lately. She knows she's getting close. Later, Rosanna meets with Neil and informs him that she'd like to try and get into contact with the Kathy woman from Arizona. She knows the woman knows more than she's letting on; she knows she is.

Across town, Aaron and Alison scurry off to Emma's, neglecting to see Luke and Kevin pulling up to Java behind them as they leave. Inside, Jade thanks them for coming and tells them that Colin should be here any moment. Luke, looking for the fake diamond he picked up from Faith's room, can't find it anywhere and soon panics. The plan will never work now, he grimaces.

It's soon time to set the table for dinner at the Snyders. All gather around and say grace before finally digging into the feast set before them. The screen door creaks and Sage springs up, hoping it's her dad. Instead, a smooth voice smiles, "Am I too late for the cutting of the Hubbard squash?" Everyone's floored to look and see Meg standing before them.

The World Of Oakdale is pulling out all the stops this February as its inaugural sweeps period begins. Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford has the scoop:

    Henry/Katie/Mike:
Henry has this gerat idea of coming up with his own TV station to rival WOAK. Katie just sees Henry as using her to be able to get the money by selling the gym and holding a Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction. But Henry has some serious motivations behind all of this, and those motives will soon come out. Mike will re-surface towards the middle or end of February a changed man. He's been with his dying brother and helping take care of the family after his brother's offscreen death.

    Lily/Lucinda/Sierra:
Lucinda just underwent surgery to have all of her cancer removed, and there will be some sisterly/motherly bonding going on between these three while they await news of whether the surgery nixed the cancer.

    Meg/Dusty/Jennifer/Nick:
Nick, new to Oakdale, has managed to set his sights on Jennifer. Likewise, Meg has again set her eyes on Dusty. These four will stop at nothing to get the one they love. We have a classic soap quadrangle here as we see every character being pulled every which way.

    Holden/Dallas/Jack:
Somewhere in Oakdale, there is an illegal prostitution ring and all the prostitutes are being illegally smuggled into the country. Jack and his partner on the case, Dallas, get in over their heads on the case and Holden is there to bail them out. But it will cost one person their life.

    Maddie/Casey/Heath:
Casey will soon depart Oakdale for the sunny beaches of California with his brother Adam. A former high school friend of Maddie's, Heath Clayborn, comes to Oakdale with his family and he soon makes it clear that he hopes to win Maddie's heart. But Maddie isn't really returning those feelings.

    Lisa/Roxie/Tom/Margo:
Lisa hires a personal assistant to help her with her finances and to help her run her different businesses. However, this new assistant, known as Roxie, has ulterior motives, which the audience will know way before Lisa does. And once those motives are unmasked, Tom and Margo will be involved.

    Hal/Emily/Andy/Susan/Kim:
Emiyl and Andy's relationship continues to blossom, but Hal still hasn't gotten over Emily. Susan and Kim will start World War III when they realize that they've been deceived and that the Andy/Emily relationship still exists.

    Ben/Jessica/Curtis:
Ben will be introduced to a new way of life, but then things get too serious. Jessica fears the worst and brings Curtis back from college to help his father realize that the life he wants...is right in front of him. Margo will also be involved in this storlyine.

    Paul/Barbara/James:
James is trying to draw Barbara back into his life, but a sudden event changes everything. Paul will be there to take the blame, while Barbara hides in shame. And as always, James will be there to stir the pot up just a bit. The storyline will wrap up in early March, prompting a major character in this triangle to leave...and it's not who you think it is.

    Will/Gwen:
Will and Gwen have traveled a long and troublesome road. Barbara will pose a threat to the couple, but in a way you wouldn't expect. For the most part, it will be smooth sailing for these two...but there's always a few bumps in the road.
