Have yourself a Merry little Christmas....

All around Port Charles, families and friends gathered to celebrate Christmas.

~Patrick picked up Robin and took her for a ride. He stopped in front of a new house with a sold sign in front of it. She looked at him questioningly. He informed her that this was her Christmas gift, provided he accept him with it. Filled with joy, she hugged and kissed him. Patrick had a key and the two of them walked through the white clapboard house with the farmer's porch. There were black shutters and a white picket fence. The house had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen. There was a dining room and den. Robin raised her lips and sweetly kissed Patrick, swearing her love for him.

~Ric was with Molly at Metro Court for Christmas brunch. He looked across the room at the families dining together and wondered where he went wrong. At least he had Molly for the day.

~Nikolas, Emily and Elizabeth were having an uncomfortable Christmas together. For the children, they were trying to keep their spirits up and Emily and Elizabeth were trying not to let their animosity show. The living room was filled with toys and unwrapped paper as Cameron went from toy to toy.

~Jason and Alison were in Jason's king size bed, lazily passing the morning. Having already made love twice, they were now wrestling and laughing together. Jason hadn't been this happy since Sam died. Alison was bringing a new light for him and she actually made him laugh.

~At the Corinthos household, Sonny, Alexis, Carly and Jax had gathered so that their collective brood of children could be together. They opened up their gifts and the adults had mimosas and cheese. They were going to have a large dinner later, when Molly came home. Sonny and Jax had tried to outdo the other in the best gift department and the children were reaping the benefits. Michael, Morgan and Kristina had more gifts than imaginable. Jax stole Carly away for a moment and gave her a five carat princess cut sapphire ring surronded by diamonds. Alexis went into the bathroom and cried over the loss of Sam. Sonny went into the kitchen and called Brenda. When Brenda saw who it was on her cell phone, she let her voice mail pick it up.

~Bobbie, Noah, Lucy, and even Scott descended on the Scorpio household. They knew that Mac and Robert weren't much on the cooking. They brought with them a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, sweet potatoes, corn, a green bean casserole, fresh rolls and gravy. Robin and Patrick came over and Georgie joined them too. A prayer was said for Felicia and Maxie and tears flowed. Mac stepped away and glanced at a family photograph of him, Felicia, Maxie and Georgie. He didn't notice Bobbie behind him until she sat down and hugged him.

~At the Quartermaine's Edward was holding court at the head of the table. Alan, Tracy, Monica, Ned, Dillion, Brenda, Justus and Lainey were all there for Christmas dinner. The usual sniping was going on between Tracy, who had fortified herself with some Manhattans, and Monica. Edward calmed everyone down by leading a prayer and remembering Lila, Mary Mae and Bradley Ward. He was also saddened that Jason and AJ couldn't be there. But he was thankful that Brenda had returned home with James and so happy that she named him after him.

~At the Spencer's, laughter filled the air. Laura and Lulu were cooking and Luke and Lucky were telling stories of past holidays. It was just going to be the four of them this year, a fact that Laura was trying to overcome. She wished that Nikolas would come over, but that would mean bringing Elizabeth. The brothers were now at war. She had pleaded with Lucky to let things go for the day. She had already called and spoke to both Nikolas and Elizabeth and pleaded that they come over. She wanted to see her grandson. When the doorbell rang, she was overjoyed when Liz, Nikolas and Emily came in. This truly made the day complete. Lucky tried to be civil yet he also avoided Liz as well. Catching onto the tension, Luke told the story of him and Laura being caught in Wyndham's and how they danced the night away. Lulu jumped up and down, wanting them to dance.

"Mrs. Spencer, may I have this dance?" Luke held out his hand to his wife.

Nikolas and Lucky moved the furniture so that Luke and Laura could dance in the living room. Luke swept Laura around the room as everyone was caught up in the magical moment. For that brief moment, all their troubles were forgotten....

Merry Christmas!
