Passions Casting Rumor

Becuase everything has been dragged out so long, and the fact that Passions is a completely different show now, any revelation about storylines before 2004 will mean absolutely nothing. The impact wouldn't be as BIG now. Look at Eve's outing, there wasn't much dramatic impact, IMO.

So, the same can be said for exposing Ivy, exposing Eve for helping Ivy ruin her best friend's family, exposing Kay to Charguel... The tabloid revelation and Lil E's paternity will most likely turn out to be an everyday event. No huge blowup with sh-- literally hitting the fan.

Still, for these stories to have any emotional impact, they will definitely have to build it up in the next few months. Kay and Ivy have had a few conversations about David and all that in the last 2 years since Grace left, so it wasn't completely forgotten. And Miguel's return from finding Charity and Tabitha explaining that she prevented him from finding her has set up Charity's return in the future (if she hasn't already returned to Harmony ;) )

I see her coming back at Fox and Kay's wedding.

That's how I always saw it happening. She can expose Kay just as easily.

Though, I think Grace would be more pissed at Ivy than Kay. Grace's pecking order should be:

1. Ivy

2. Eve

3. Kay

Ya know I was really mad at Eve two years ago for when Liz exposed her she didn't tell Sam about Ivy. Mabye if Grace is back in town it will prompt her to.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! This hasn't been confirmed yet, has it? And some of you seem to be accepting it as fact. Let's not get our hopes up.

That said, isn't it funny how you can talk to some "Passions" fans who think the show is missing something without Sparks and Grace, whereas other fans say she's the worst soap opera actor of all time? I never got that.

The show is missing something without Dana/Grace ... and Dana Sparks is the worst actress of all time. It's weird, but true.

I agree. She's awful. But she was the first awful actress of PSNS, and she'll always be the matriarch of Passions, for me. Ivy is the !@#$%^&*], always!

Exposing Eve would be kind of non-climactic at this point.

Eve played along in part because she didn't want Ivy exposing her past as a hooch and tearing down her saintly image to her family.

Eve's been exposed already, she's been trashed by TC, Twitney and Simone.

Been there done that.

-I forget what Kay did... is it the whole "I threw Charity's essence on me so Miguel would sleep with me?" or is it something else.

I have faulty PASSIONS memory.

That's just one of the many evil things Kay has done, but the one we're referring to is her finding out about Ivy and David, and keeping it from Sam and Grace to get back at her mom. What a selfish, conniving b!tch!

Dana improved a smidge before leaving but she was not good.

Passions needs her-the Bennets are starting to be focused on again. I never understood why they cut her and backburnered the Bennets for over a year. It was so stupid. They are a core family and up until 2004 Passions has done a nice job balancing their airtime of the 4 families. Grace coming back would solidfy the Bennets again and would be a sure sign the show we know is returning even though signs are starting to show already.

They do need to intergrate her a little but most Passions fans know her and the story. They don't have that many new fans. I could see them bringing her back for the wedding whenever it is (August/September/whatever) and then having Ivy be exposed and then play out the fallout. I don't think there will buildup from Grace's end. More like Kay and Ivy's. I just wonder if they might bring John and David back too possibly for short term to tie up story like David's past and John's real mother?

Which is one of the reasons why I hated the way Eve was exposed. Eve being exposed should've caused ripples to more characters than just a few people in the Russell home. It should've been a train wreck. "Ivy has nothing on me, so now I can tell my BEST FRIEND the truth..."
