I saw the Early Show, I am so glad they showed James the Veto video so he doesn't wrongly hold that against Janelle.

He keeps saying S6 screwed him by lying and not getting out the people he wanted to get out. He still could have made it work. Ali, Jase and Diane were all gunning for S6, so I think it was fine they left. He is just bitter that part of his sub-alliance Diane left.

He just can't understand that his alliance NEVER took a direct hit at him, but in his mind he manages to justify taking a direct hit at S6. I really think for James it wasn't about S6's actions this year, but his way of getting revenge for last season. In the words of Marcellus, he is a "Bitter Queen"!

If this double posts, I apologize in advance as this forum seems to be having problems.

Yeah, I often say I don't get other people weren't voted back in, like Monica. I guess it's the old saying "how quickly they forget", and people mostly cared about getting S6 back in the house, as I wanted to but I remember S2 being the best season of all and had the best contestants-by far, and I voted for a few of them a lot. I remember how Monica and Bunky were so loved, he had the Bunkymania tour after the show and Monica had also lost her cousin in the 9/11 attacks and people were saying how she got screwed and wanted her to win and back in the house so bad. I'm really disappointed on how people voted, it's partly why the season has been boring(thank God for Will though) Jase and Erika? Come on.

Boogie and Will are studying for veto. The plan at the moment is for Will to win and use it to save Janelle and force Erika to put up Danielle. Im torn bc on one hand I want Janelle to win but at the same time I would also like Will to win only bc I want both of them to stay in the game. I like George bc he's supporting Janelle and Dani would have the guts to take out CT. Boogie needs to go but I doubt he'd get put up even though Erika said she thinks he's more dangerous than Will

Yep.

And even Erika and Dani were talking just a bit ago. They were thinking of what to do if they won veto. They considered taking George off and working with Janelle and voting out Will!

They quickly rejected it because they know Janelle doesn't trust them. Well ... it's your own faults! Erika was too much of a waffler early on and Danielle put too much trust in James instead of working different angles. You can tell Dani is scrambling. She should of had a back up plan ...

Eeeeeeee!

Someone on Sucks or Jokers said they saw on the feeds the challenge prep for veto....

it's MORPHOMATIC!!!

God, this is MADE for Janelle to win. Erika and Dani might be her best competition though. But Janelle spends SO much time at the memory wall.

I don't have an opinion yea or nay about whether the show is rigged or not. We hear it every year from other posters that the show is, and then we hear the same thing from posters and from people associated with the show that the competitions are chosen way before hand.

I will say that this year it has seemed to be more rigged because of the way the competitions have fallen - esp. the veto competitions. How in the world did Chicken George happen to get the competion that he did. I like George but that competion was made for him to win that week. There was not one thing he was not willing to do to win that week. If it had been physical he would not have been able to win. That is the most obvious one, but other POV competitions have fallen at the right time for the individual concerned too. King Reilly (Mike) even pointed out some of those in another post weeks ago.

Those obvious things this year are obviously what is making people think it this year.

And then to top it off if the POV is Morphomatic this week then it is made for Janelle just like Krypton pointed out. It is just so hard for me or for anyone to believe that it has just happened this way so often this year.

Veto competition is currently underway, there has been FLAMES on all feeds for 1 hr and 15mins approx.

Possibilites floating around for veto use:

-If Will wins, he takes off CG or Janie forcing Dani up. Supposedly he is leaning more towards CG so that Erika/Dani don't see his alliance with Janie and then they scumbag Danielle at the vote.

-If Boogie wins same thing as Will except he will not take Janie off as it will reveal all to Erika who he wants to keep in the dark.

-If Dani win she has floated the idea of taking off CG and thus forcing Erika to put up Will (then she plans to vote him out at vote).

-If Erika wins she will not use veto and keep vote as is, forcing CT and Dani to decide between Jani or CG.

-If George wins it he has said numerous time he may even use it to save Janie to try and get Will out. Thought in the end I am sure he would use it on himself, throwing Will up anyways. His reason for savin Janie is because he believes she deserves to make it to the end and knows she is more likely to get voted out of the house up against him (or so he thinks).

-If Janelle wins the veto she is going to use it on herself, thus forcing Will on the block, but she has vowed to keep him safe on Thursday and along with Boogie will evict CG.

So lets see what happenes, this veto is probably the most important moment of the game thus far!

    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)

    • Broadcasting Magazine (May 5, 1980) : Future US-Next TV : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive From a May 1980 Broadcasting issue: Meredith Broadcasting in association with Alan Sloan Inc has committed itself to produce series of five half hours in soap opera form, "designed for youngers 11-14 and their parents." Programs, yet untitled, "will deal with problems teen-agers face in their relationships with peers and parents," with script topics reviewed in advance by teachers, psychologists and others. First episode is to air on Meredith's five TV's in September and ground broadcaster also anticipates syndication. If successful, idea is to go to full-fledged series.
    • Broadcasting Magazine (May 5, 1980) : Future US-Next TV : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive Looking at an old Broadcast issue with a fall schedule preview. Their description of the show: Lorimar Productions turns its cameras "below the surface of a small, traditional, thriving college town still large controlled by its founders, the Millingtons." Plot elements include "nurtured dreams, closely-held desires, closeted shame and vital truths about friends and family." Lee Rich, Michael Filerman and David Jacobs are executive producers of the Roundelay production, in association with Lorimar.  They also mention the show in a small section about advertising's point of view.  Advertising agency reaction to the new fall line-ups announced by ABC and CBS last week varied. But upfront, some agency types were apprehensive that their advertisers might be turned off by some of the new "titillating" entries. "I'm concerned about the amount of permissiveness," said one executive, with CBS' Secrets of Midland Heights commonly mentioned as one possible offender.
    • I just saw this. Thanks for sharing. The classic Y&R thread may enjoy your posts. It was in very poor taste for Andy Cohen to blindside MTS with that type of question, but I'm not surprised as he's an awful person.
