Booting In and Out

I've noticed the last day or so that it seems like I keep getting booted out of my avatar and asked to log back in. When I do so, I get an error message. But a simple refresh shows that I logged back in. However, it's been quite frequently. And just wanted to give a heads up or see if an update is also going on. @Errol

What do you mean by " booted" out of your avatar? What error message are you receiving? Do you have a screenshot?

Updates only happen when the message board is "offline," which means no member, logged in or not, can access the board.

I'm usually logged in when I'm online, but the system seems to boot me. On my laptop screen where it says that I'm in or Me as Taoboi logged in, it asks for 'existing users? Sign in?' in the upper right corner. I click on sign in with my info. It takes me another screen where it asked for my username and password. Then it does an 'oops' screen. I will try to get a screenshot when I get a chance.

That’s happened to me a few times too, but only on my laptop.

On my phone, everything still works perfectly.

Yeah, normally I am on my laptop. At the moment...I'm doing editing elsewhere and only been bumped once. Hopefully, when I get home, my laptop isn't being too funny. In hindsight, I had not restarted it in a few day. :)

@Errol - this is now happening to me. It's been doing this on my Mac for a couple weeks now, where I click into a forum or thread and it's like I'm not signed on anymore. So I refresh the page and then I'm signed in and things are fine until I click into a different forum/thread and I always have to refresh each time. Unfortunately, as of today, I can't sign in on my Mac anymore. I try refreshing, I restarted my computer, I tried signing in, but nothing is working. When I try to sign in, it just reverts back to the sign-on page and I can't get in.

Thankfully everything is working well on my work laptop and phone, but I prefer using my Mac, so hoping there is a solution somehow?
