I loved the inside Fairmont Crest episode today. This cast just gels so well together and it showed how they genuinely enjoy each other. Approaching it's one year anniversary, the show has found it's footing and the kind of show it wants to be. BTG has undoubtedly become my favorite soap, hands down. I'm glad it exist and is here for us all to see.

As for the preemptions in season one, AGAIN, only 200 episodes were ordered. They still had to fill the other 50 episodes with something. Season two will have 238 episodes, according to Karla Mosley, therefore less preemptions. Hopefully, it's finally understood and better communication will be had with Canada and the other territories the show airs in.

But there will still 20 or so episodes that will need to be covered. So there will have to be repeats scattered throughout. Why don't they just order another few weeks worth of new episodes?

I'm assuming budget and TPTB knowing the difficulties of launching a brand new soap. My understanding is that CBS was making sure production could handle the vigorous demands of daytime before going full throttle. Season three should be 250 episodes if I understood KM correctly during her interview.

One thing I did like about the special was that Ms. Goings might not have known the specifics but she was given enough of a heads-up on Hayley she was able to play into that.

Karla said they ordered less to help the cast and crew⏤many of whom are new to the pacing of daytime⏤adjust to the rigours that the medium has. If we get the pickup for 2027, then we will get 250 episodes. A smart move in my eyes; and knowing where they preempted in 2025, I would assume we have a better idea of where we [might] get those preemptions again. But yes, CBS needs to communicate this with their Canadian counterparts so they know not to put the episode out.

Today's episode may be pre-empted in full due to the orange terrorist being on via a CBS News Special Report.

I saw a preview of a Kat/Ted scene that I really wanted to watch. Hopefully, Paramount uploads it later.

We will have to wait and see if the other time zones air the episode. I hope they do, for multiple reasons. But this orange terrorist is doing everything to provide nothing. NOTHING.
